    Hot Taps can be performed on almost any type of pipe, ranging from carbon
    steel to PVC. Taps are done on lines containing water, steam, and many
    other chemicals. Pressures up to 15 Bar can be Hot Tapped safely with no
    interruption of service.

    PT Indramas Enviro Karya uses the latest technology in coupon retention


    available. When a Hot Tap is performed, the double wired pilot drill retains
    the coupon and recovers it when the Hot Tap is completed.

    Typical Hot Tap installation consists of


    a tapping saddle, a gate valve, and
    a Hot Tapping Machine. The Installation
    is first tested, then the valve is opened,
    and the cutter and pilot drill are
    advanced. When the cut is completed,
    the cutter and pilot drill are retracted,
    the valve is closed and the Hot Tap
    machine is removed.

    Adding new connection to your piping is not the only use for Hot Taps.
    PT Indramas Enviro Karya has the facility to perform hot tapping in your
    system in many different ways such as

    n Valveless connections
    n Long travel taps
    Other methods are also available to complete your connection in the most
    efficient manner possible.
    Angle Hot Tap
    This is the typical configuration for
    a Hot Tap performed at an angle.
    An angle block is used as a guide
    for our pilot drill and is welded dead
    centre of the tapping outlet

    Angle Hot Tap


    This fitting is used when valves are not required at the point of connection.
    A temporary valve is used to make the Hot Tap, and is removed afterward.
    This is all accomplished with no interruption of service.

    Hot taps are also being used for a bypass connection during a line stop
    operation. Flow continues in the pipeline while necessary modifications
    are made.

    between 4” to 48” and is suitable to all types
    pipes.
    INDRAMAS HOT TAPPING SLEEVE
    INDRAMAS HOT TAPPING SLEEVE
    is a range of tapping tees that allow flanged connection to
    be made to an existing water main without disrupting the
    water suuply.
    The sleeve can be used in conjunction with all standard
    Hot Tapping Machines.

    SPECIAL FEATURES
    INDRAMAS HOT TAPPING SLEEVE
    has cast carbon steel or mild steel bodies that reinforce
    the pipeline and help to form the seal around the full
    length of the tee. It allows rapid assembly time that aids
    its installation.
    INDRAMAS HOT TAPPING SLEEVE
    offer a total tolerence range of 6 mm on the required
    pipe’s outside diameter.
    INDRAMAS HOT TAPPING SLEEVE
    has various models and standard measurements suitable
    to A.C. pipe, cast iron pipe, ductile iron pipe, mild steel
    pipe PE pipe and uPVC pipe.
    INDRAMAS HOT TAPPING SLEEVE
    has been tested by SIRIM and our in-house research
    facilities certified to the most expected performnace
    required.
    GASKET - Our specially designed gasket complies to
    BS 2494 which provides a permanent seal at the point
    hot tapping.
    The gasket is designed to set into the grove to ensure no
    displacement by the water pressure.
    CORROSION PROTECTION - All INDRAMAS Hot
    Tapping Sleeve are coated with Fusion Bonded Epoxy and
    all bolts and nuts to A2, stainless steel standard.
    PRESSURE RATING - The sleeve standard at 16 bar
    working pressure and at 24 bar testing pressure
