Family Ancronym And Questions

F = Fondness
A = Affection
M = Memories
I = In
L = Life
Y = Years

Correlation:

Fondness = Sometimes we may not understand each other even though we are a family but we try to just
because we have to keep the spirit alive.

Affection = While not many we need to realize we may not get the hug we always wanted in our lives from
our parents and other relatives so we have to keep this in mind.

Memories = From when you were small to when you are now an adult, you need to realize who raised
you into the person you are now, be grateful that they were able to take care of you until the day they
pass.

In = Your lives are written in a memory state in your brain, when you die your brain will process all of this
and that makes you realize all of your memories are in you and you will never forget the fun moments you
had.

Life = Life can’t be perfect so be grateful that you are alive and even if not well, try to get back on track
even if you are from a bad start or even when you think you are in a worse state than others, never give
up.

Years = Years are long but the fun and happy moments can make them go faster, so try to enjoy all of
your years with your family as much as you can because you will never know when they will die and the
day they do die you can realize that you did as much as you can with them and all these years are just a
part of the human and nature cycle that our higher being created.

Questions:

1. What classification of family structure do you belong? Nuclear or


extended? Discuss some benefits and drawbacks of it.

2. Identify some of the ‘shared norms and values’ you were taught by
family members as part of your primary socialization.
3. Identify each of your family members’ role in your family ( including
yourself). How those roles bring harmony and discord to the family?

Answers:
1. Right now its in the classificaton of Nuclear Family but if
travelling to my grandparent’s house it will be a Extended
Family, For now having a Nuclear Family classification is really
good and simple but the Extended Family is not as harder than
the Nuclear Family classification.

2. Keep taking your vitamins or else you will get sick that’s what
my parents always said and i didn’t believe they would do
anything until the day i got many illnesses and i started to
actually take supplements so that I don’t regret myself in the
future.

3. Father = The Worker, Saviour and Provider


Mother = The Caretaker and Housewife
Myself = School and Homework Focus
Little Sister = School and Homework Focus
