Letter of Motivation:

I am writing this letter to show my interest in the Master of Integrated Immunology. I decided
to be admitted to the program for the development and research for the production of useful
products for human welfare. The decision to choose this program which is taught as a major
subject of biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, and recombinant DNA technology
inspired by the purpose of productive contribution to the welfare of my country. My interest
is to investigate the problems deeply and turn them into opportunities. My motivation was
always towards biotechnology and genetic engineering. After my graduation, I found that
though I have learned a lot I need to know more about biotechnology to use it for the security
of food. However, this thirst is still not there, to go more in-depth, to investigate deeper living
from bacteria to plants of more complex problems, and to invent.

At the University of Central Punjab, I studied Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology for 4 years.
I have always looked for entrepreneurial opportunities, I aim to work as a researcher and
convert my research into sellable ideas, win funds, create company growth, and secure food
for future generations by inventing techniques to produce more food in less time or land. That
is where I want to see myself in the future. At this stage of my career, I need to learn how to
research, and how to dig deeper into the problems. My goal is to research. I have a flair for
research however; I need to master that art.

I believe I have the intellectual ability to complete a Master’s Degree and I have illustrated my
drive, ambition, and dedication to doing this in many ways. I am capable of working as part of
a team as I have developed the initiative and ability to follow instructions and have the capacity
to work with others. I have good project management and design skills, which I want to turn
into innovation and research skills through a Master’s program.

My background in molecular genetics consultancy and project management has prepared me

for such a career. I have found the research fascinating since my academic days and further
my qualifications provided me with a strong ground in molecular biology which can help me
for such a career. The unprecedented explosion of technology, the thrust of speed, and
information have brought about immense opportunities to utilize newer principles,
methodologies, tools, and practices in the field of molecular biology especially since I have a
keen interest in recombinant DNA technology.

During my semester breaks, I have also completed various internships in the Labs. I have
worked for 1 year and completed 2 Research Projects at Research Lab. The topic of my research
was “The digestion of food industrial FOG (fats, oil, and grease) for the production of Biodiesel”.
My major aim and focus were to investigate a mutant gene of some microorganisms by using
general molecular techniques and report a mutation in a specific gene that can be utilized for
biodiesel production from FOG. I have also worked on a project related to “Bioinformatics”.
The topic of this project was “Phylogenetic Comparison of Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic Genes”.
In this project, I learned how to design a project using online tools, how to write a thesis, and
how to do research.

What draws me, particularly to the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg is its outstanding reputation for
academic excellence, its commitment to fostering a multicultural and inclusive learning
environment, and the esteemed faculty in the Department of Molecular who have made
significant contributions to the field of Molecular and Medicine research.

I have been keenly interested in proceeding with my further studies in biotechnology-related

fields and their applications as my last degree achieved was a bachelor's, which is a professional
degree, essentially a generalist qualification designed to widen the learner's horizon to take
account of all the major sources of the products of biotechnology at the molecular level by
using recombinant DNA techniques and cellular molecular biology, their synthesis, their effect
on the human life and the environment. Because its focus is general rather than specialist.

The opportunity to study under their guidance and alongside a diverse cohort of fellow
students is both thrilling and inspiring. The Master’s in Integrated Immunology at your
institution is a step forward toward widening research exposure. It will also help me to gain
awareness of molecular studies across the periods moreover academic research all of which
help me to become a good Researcher.

Your university epitomizes a vibrant academic community, rich and diverse in its field of study
and dynamic in its freedom for an explanation. Especially at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, my area
of specialization is flourishing under the guidance of pioneering stalwarts in an outstanding
environment. This is why I look forward to the selection and admission committees to turn my
passion into concrete abilities not just to acquire a foundation of knowledge and practical
experience but also to its pragmatic aspect.

AMBER NOUREEN
