II. About The Company Prepared By:
12 ABM-A

ABM-A from Colegio de Calumpit, Inc., Calumpit, Bulacan. It first started as a commercial
performance task and today, we decided to bring it back to life. As young entrepreneurs, we believe that
such innovation cannot simply go to waste.

Mang-Peachy! is a small pastry shop that offers a unique combination of peach and mango
filling stuffed in lumpia wrapper. It provides a delicacy that is perfect for anyone who wants a
cheap on-the-go snack.
The business logo features a superhero holding a peach mango fruit. We are the superheroes of today,
therefore, we will thrive to solve starvation through a powerful mean of creating an innovative and
creative food that is affordable and accessible to everyone - Mango Peach Pie in Lumpia Wrappers.

Our goal is to fill our customers with happiness matched with love and care in providing the
best peach-mango pie you simply cannot find elsewhere.
III. Market Analysis

A fruity, juicy, and refreshing taste is something that everyone wants to savor. Peach-Mango
Pie is new to the market, yet it is something that everyone will look forward to. “Peach” and
“Mango” are two different fruits that give us an authentic taste of sweetness. Peaches and
Mangoes are considered stone fruits or drupes. Stone fruits are a variation of fruits that have a
plump exterior or skin but have a large stone inside it. These fruits are also known for their
vibrant colors that attract the interest of the people. These are also rich in vitamins and minerals
that are essential for us to survive. When these two independent fruits are combined, it can create
a new interesting flavor that everyone will always want to have. According to an article, the use
of Mango and Peach in a variety of dishes and their intrinsic nature of perfectly blending with
other food combinations makes them the apt choice for various dishes.

Peach-Mango Pie is a widely enjoyed dessert in Southeast Asia, particularly in the

Philippines, appreciated for its sweet and tropical flavor combination. The portability of the pie
adds to its appeal, making it a popular on-the-go snack. Meanwhile, the fusion of pie in lumpia
wrappers introduces a creative culinary concept, combining the flaky and neutral characteristics
of lumpia wrappers with diverse sweet and savory fillings. Peach mango pie is a popular dessert
that originated in the Philippines. These pies trace their origins to a Philippine-based fast-food
chain called Jollibee, renowned for its delectable fried chicken. Another highlight of their menu
is the delightful peach and mango pies! It typically consists of a sweet and fruity filling made
with ripe peaches and mangoes, combined with sugar and sometimes a touch of cinnamon or
other spices. The filling is enclosed in a flaky, golden-brown crust, creating a handheld pastry
that is both crispy and delicious. Peach-mango pies have their roots in the Philippines, where
they gained popularity as a delicious dessert or snack.

We all know that the People in the Philippines love Turon, what is Turon? Turon is a popular
Filipino snack or dessert that is made by wrapping slices of ripe banana with lumpia wrappers
and sometimes coated with brown caramelized sugar. So, our peach mango pie in lumpia
wrappers is inspired by Turon, they have the same style but different ingredients. "Peach Mango
Pie in Lumpia Wrappers" refers to a variation of the traditional peach-mango pie where the
filling is enclosed in lumpia wrappers instead of the more common pie crust. Lumpia wrappers
are thin pastry sheets commonly used in Filipino cuisine for making spring rolls or lumpia. A
wrapper will be filled with Peach and Mango fillings that can create a Pie. According to
Britannica (2023), pie has a crispy crust that contains a sweet filling of fruit, custard, or pastry
creams. However, pie is a pastry that can also be savory, it can also be filled with different
fillings. Years ago, pies were often filled with different meats and spices, especially in the
continent of Europe. Nowadays, there are different methods to create a pie. Despite many
variations, pies have something in common: a crust on top (Dictionary.com, 2021). In this
business, Lumpia Wrapper will serve as the crispy exterior of the product that will be filled with
the sweetness of Peaches and Mangoes. The Peach-Mango Pie is a dessert that is popularized in
the Philippines. This is almost new to the taste of the consumers, locally and globally.

This product has different competitors. One of the biggest competitors is the fast food chain
where Peach Mango Pie started – Jollibee. This food chain is known for its different pies such as
Tuna Pie and Peach Mango Pie. They popularized the Peach Mango Pie in the Philippines. The
advantage of this business is the pricing. The product is budget-friendly and it will surely meet
the expectations of the customers. At a low price, they will have the sweetness and classic taste
of Peach Mango Pie that they are looking for. Another advantage of this business is the product
availability. The owners have the ability to meet the number of products that the customers are
looking for within a given time. Other competitors will be those businesses that sell pastries.
Peach-mango pie is considered a pastry. These competitors can give well-known pastries to the
customers. The advantage of our business to these competitors is we distribute and give a
different kind of pastry that is new to the taste of the people.

In addition to that, our competitors are not only the direct competitors. The following are the
indirect competitors that are not the same products but are similar to ours: Banana Turon, it’s
very similar to the concept of our peach mango pie in Lumpia Wrappers. Banana Turon involves
wrapping slices of ripe banana and sometimes jackfruit in lumpia wrappers. It's then fried until
crispy and may be coated in caramelized sugar. Ube (Purple Yam) Turon - Ube, a well-loved
ingredient in Filipino cuisine, is renowned for its vivid purple hue and delightful sweetness. Ube
Turon entails incorporating ube halaya (purple yam jam) as a filling, along with banana slices,
and encasing the mixture in lumpia wrappers prior to the frying process.

If developed into a business venture, potential competitors could include traditional bakeries
offering innovative pie variations, establishments specializing in creative fusion desserts, and
mobile vendors exploring inventive snack options. To succeed in this market, emphasis should
be placed on highlighting the distinctive qualities of pie in lumpia wrappers and implementing
effective marketing strategies to capture the attention of consumers seeking novel and enjoyable
culinary experiences.
