3.0 LIMITATION OF INSPECTION
NO. LIMITATION AREA DESCRIPTION
1.
A valid reason why a rooftop can be a limitation
during an inspection is safety concerns. Inspecting
rooftops often involves working at heights, which
poses significant risks to the safety of the
inspector. Without proper safety equipment and
training, accessing and evaluating the condition of
a rooftop can be hazardous, making it a limitation
for thorough and safe inspection processes.
Figure 6: Rooftop
2.
A water tank can be a limitation in an inspection
due to restricted access, which makes it
challenging to thoroughly assess its internal
condition and making it difficult to spot internal
issues like corrosion or sediment buildup.

Figure 7: Water Tank

3.
A manhole can limit inspection because it is hard
to access. The confined space inside a manhole
can be difficult and dangerous to enter, making it
challenging for inspectors to thoroughly assess the
area. This often requires special equipment and
trained personnel, which can complicate and slow
down the inspection process.
Figure 8: Manhoke
4.
The foundation is a limitation for inspections
because it is mostly underground and hidden.
Inspectors can't see all of it without digging, which
they don't do. Special tools are needed for a
thorough check, and problems might be hidden.
This makes it hard to fully assess the foundation
during a regular inspection.
