This Information Sheet is issued to change the aircraft effectivity on the Summary
Sheet and in Paragraph 1.A. of the Service Bulletin and now reads as follows:
1.A. Effectivity
“BD-700-1A10 aircraft, Serial No. 9334, 9337, 9340, 9343, 9346, 9350, 9353,
9356, 9359, 9363, 9366, 9370, 9372, 9373, 9376, 9379, 9383, 9389, 9392, 9395,
9398, 9404, 9405, 9408, 9411, 9417, 9418, 9421, 9425, 9427, 9430 and 9998”.
NOTE: The instructions in this Service Bulletin are only applicable to the systems
and parts installed at the time of delivery of the aircraft or as changed by
Bombardier Aerospace or Canadair Service Bulletin(s).
Before you do this bulletin, examine all STC, STA or equivalent action
changes to make sure this bulletin can be completed.
Discard the Basic Issue of this Service Bulletin dated May 29/2014, and the Information
Sheet dated Nov 14/2014 and replace in its entirety with this Revision 01.
This revision has no effect for aircraft on which the Basic Issue of this Service
Bulletin was done thus no other action is necessary. Do not sign the log book if you
have not done this revision. Keep the previous log book entry. You may make an
entry as "Not Applicable" for this revision.
1. Change, on the Service Bulletin Summary Sheet, the Compliance, from Optional to
Recommended.
3. Change, on the Service Bulletin Summary Sheet, the Manpower row to 5.5 man−hours.
4. Add, to the Service Bulletin Summary Sheet, a NOTE to examine passenger seats before
incorporating the Service Bulletin.
8. Revise, in Paragraph 1.B., Reason, to reflect the latest Service Bulletin template.

1. PLANNING INFORMATION
NOTE: Before you do this Service Bulletin, examine the seat(s) serial number(s). If the
seat(s) serial numbers(s) is/are not listed in Section 1.1., Effectivity of the B/E
Aerospace Service Bulletin SB−3ACF0107−25−45, you have met the intent of
the Service Bulletin. If the serial numbers are listed, proceed with the SB.

BD−700−1A10 aircraft, Serial No. 9337 to 9383, 9389 to 9400, 9404 to 9431 and
9998.

B. Reason
1. Condition:
Operators have reported microswitch failures on their passenger seats, Part
No. 3ACF0107 single seats and 3ACF0207 double seats.
Refer to applicable governmental agency regulations and requirements and make sure that the work described in this
Service Bulletin is performed in compliance with manufacturer’s recommendations and/or acceptable industry standards.

When the microswitch (responsible for the seat track and swivel function)
malfunctions, the electrical assistance becomes inactive.

NOTE: The man−hours given are estimates to help you schedule the tasks given
in this bulletin. The estimates are for direct labor performed by an
experienced crew and do not include the time for familiarization, planning,
aircraft preparation in hangar such as towing and positioning of scaffolds,
removal of interior furnishings, repainting, supervision and inspection.

A. Aircraft Setup
(1) Obey all electrical/electronic safety precautions. Refer to
AMM 24−00−00−910−801.
(2) Make sure that the EMER LIGHTS switch on the cockpit PASS SIGN/EMER
LIGHTS panel is set to the OFF position.
(3) In the flight compartment, on the Electrical Management System (EMS) Control
Display Unit (CDU), set the circuit breaker that follows to LOCKED. Refer to
AMM 24−00−00−863−801:
(4) On the galley touchscreen, set the circuit breaker that follows to LOCK. Refer
to SMM Chapter 24, CABIN ELECTRICAL POWER:

(3) On the galley touchscreen, set the circuit breaker that follows to UNLOCK..

(4) In the flight compartment, on the PASS SIGN/EMER LIGHTS control panel, set
EMER LIGHTS switch to ON.
(5) Turn lumbar controls on and off, to confirm their operation.
(6) Do the operational test of the passenger seating. Refer to the Global Express
Component Maintenance Manual CMM 25−20−72 INSPECTION/CHECK for
Single seats Part No.3ACF0107 and CMM 25−20−73 INSPECTION/CHECK
for Double seats Part No.3ACF0207.
(7) Remove the external power from the aircraft. Refer to
AMM 24−00−00−861−802.
D. Close−out
Remove all tools, equipment and unwanted materials from the aircraft.
E. Recording
When this Service Bulletin is completed, make an entry in the aircraft log and send
the attached Incorporation Notice to Bombardier Business Aircraft Customer
Services (BBACS).
