Course Name Engineering Mechanics II (Dynamics)

Course Code: MEng 2104

Course Overview The main objective of this course is to introduce basic principles of dynamics,
kinematics and kinetics of particles, work and energy, impulse and momentum,
kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies, the course also provide students with depth
knowledge which include rotation, absolute motion, relative velocity and
acceleration. Furthermore, students will acquire knowledge how to apply general
equation of motion, work-energy relation and impulse momentum equation to solve
various types of engineering problems.

Instructional Method

The main teaching method will be based on lectures and group discussions. During tutorial
sessions, students are encouraged to solve different engineering problems through class
exercise as well as individual and group assignment.

Other Requirements

Minimum 80% during lecture and 100% during practical work sessions except for some
unprecedented mishaps.

Pass requirements

To pass this course you must:

The mechanical engineering department is using the undergraduate senior project "APA
