Analysis: A majority of the respondents agree (48%) that their boss appreciates their efforts on a daily basis which is a good sign as such things motivate the employee to perform better and he can also improve his performance which would in turn lead to achievement of the organisations objectives. However it can also be seen that some respondents feel they are not appreciated on a daily basis. This can be seen both as an advantage as well as a disadvantage. Some employees prefer less interference in their jobs on a daily basis. It can be good in such cases as the employee is then satisfied with the way routine activities are carried out without interruptions. However if an employee feels that lack of feedback is affecting his performance and productivity it is a disadvantage which has to be overcome. Q2.
