What is a printer?
* printer is a peripheral de+ice that accepts te-t and graphics output from a computer and transfers them to paper. The most common printers are ink.et and laser printers.

The following instructions are applica le to printers with US0 connectors.

Procedure: 1 "osition your printer ne-t to the system unit. 2 Connect the US0 ca le of the printer to a free US0 port of the system unit. 2 "lug the power cord of the printer to a power outlet. 3 Turn on the printer. %ow to connect a printer to the system unit

Installing the printer driver


Procedure: 1 #nsert the C4 containing the printer dri+er into the C4-56M. 2 #n $indows 7-plorer, rowse and select the dri+e containing the de+ice dri+er. 2 4ou le click on setup.e-e or the appropriate e-ecuta le file. 3 )ollow the on-screen instructions. %ow to #nstall a "rinter 4ri+er

What is a scanner?
* scanner or image scanner is a peripheral de+ice that optically scans printed te-t and images, and con+erts them into digital images or documents. The most common type of scanners are flat ed scanners. )lat ed Scanner

What you will need 1 2 Scanner C4 or any media containing the scanner dri+er The following instructions are applicable to scanners with USB connectors

Procedure: 1 "osition your scanner ne-t to the system unit.

The following instructions are applicable to headsets with !"# stereo connectors"

Procedure: 1 #dentify the 2.9 mm connectors of your headset. The headphone connector is usually colored green or lack. )or the microphone, it is usually colored red or pink. :ou may need to consult your headset manual to identify these connectors.

2 /ocate the headphone sockets on your system unit, which are usually colored green or lack. Microphone sockets are colored red or pink. :ou may need to consult your computers manual to locate these sockets.
