The term personality originated from Latin
word “persona” which means mask. Mask
was used by the actors in Greek drama.
Personality is what makes a person is unique
person, and it is recognizable soon after
birth. Personality can be interpreted in many
ways.
“Personality may be defined as the most
characteristics integration of an individual
structure, mode of behavior, interests,
attitudes, capacities, abilities and aptitudes”
(MUNN NL).
“Personality is the dynamic
organization within the individual of those
psychosocial systems that determine his
unique adjustment to his environment”
(GORDON ALLPORT).
