Projectile Motion

The document discusses projectile motion, including computations and simulations of the time of flight and range of a projectile launched at an angle of 35 degrees with an initial velocity of 25.7 m/s. The computations showed a time of flight of 3.01 seconds and range of 63.27 meters, while the simulation found 3.04 seconds and 64.75 meters respectively. An analysis found the results had marginal differences within 1 unit except for range, which differed by over 1 unit. It was concluded that computations and simulations are effective for studying projectile motion and obtaining precise results.

PROJECTILE MOTION

PROJECTILE Projectile motion is a form of motion where an object

moves in a bilaterally symmetrical, parabolic path. The
MOTION path that the object follows is called its trajectory.1

CONCLUSION
Thus it can be concluded that data gathering by computation and recorded simulation is effective for projectile
motion. With the given condition of soldiers in the middle of war and asking for medical supplies, the target of
this study was to calculate the time of the flight as well as the range of medical supplies. The result of the data
gathered followed by the calculation revealed a marginal difference of <1 among the data except for horizontal
range which is differed by >1. The result of the study furthermore revealed 0.25 discrepancy in the data set
among stimulation and manual computation.
CONCLUSION
This study has considered the two dimensions of the projectile movement which have two components including
vertical and horizontal velocity. Under the consideration of the trajectory of the projectile that results within the
parabola, the research of the study gathered data with the expectations of discrepancy in result. This is because
the approach of simulation operates the overall theoretical situation towards absolute measurement and the
manual computation restraints on average result values. The researcher of the study expected discrepancy
however was confident that the discrepancy related to the data on horizontal velocity should not deviate from the
result range. However, this study and the data collection followed by the adopted procedure for the methodology
of the study can be considered to be effective since the result of the study revealed that both the data lie among
the anticipated range, henceforth justifying precise and effective results together with a high level of accuracy of
the collected data set.
