Stabling coaching trains at
way-side stations

Passenger trains stabled on platforms, stabling at way
side stations:
A. On arrival of train on to platform.

B. After rake is stabled at way-side station:

B. After rake is stabled at way-side station:

B. After rake is stabled at way-side station:

be locked with universal key, if universal lock is
not working, doors to be pad locked by the station Points man, Guard and

padlocked by the station staff.

C. Before dispatching from stabling point.
After attaching the loco on to formation:

D. General
All stations and Goods Guards shall be supplied with Universal Keys/Pad
1 locks.

Entry in the “Stabled load Register” filling up all the relevant columns to the

above effect should be made.

Coaches/train shall be stabled in a station/siding which has RPF deployment.


3 If it is not possible due to operational reasons, the stabling point may be
chosen in any wayside station nearer to RPF Post or Outpost

Once the coaches/rakes are fully locked and secured, security should protect
4
the coaches/rakes till departure from the stabling point.
