INDIVIDUAL LEARNING MONITORING PLANS

Annotation: I noticed that the learners struggle in a certain lesson specifically in Math that is why I
decided to communicate with the parents thru messenger and also talked to them personally to
know what might be the reason and then I found out that the pupil doesn’t know the proper way
about problem solving. In order for me to help him/her, I provided more guided activities, exercises
and worksheets that aim in familiarizing them in adding 3 to 4 digits up to three addends with
sums up to 10, 000 with and without regrouping. Through a series of remedial activities, progress
was evident in the outputs/performance of my learners.

Annotation: I conduct Online Kamustahan to our learners at least once a week to help and assist
them with their modules and answering queries about a certain lesson/topic that they don’t
understand. Through this, we re able to continue the delivery of basic education to our learners.
We may not provide 100% quality education, but at least we are trying our best to teach our
learners especially in times of pandemic.

Annotation: One of the things that I consider when it comes in preparing my lesson is the diversity
of my pupils. This is the reason why I provide different activities during the teaching and learning
process; to cater the multiple intelligences and learning styles that my learners possess. Also, I see
to it that my lesson/topic is aligned with the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELCs)

Annotation: We are doing MELC mapping every quarter to clearly see the alignment of our lesson.
we are also including MELC in each assessment that we are giving to our learners, for them also to
be aware of what they are answering. We also provide them with rubrics and WHLP as their guide in
answering their activities.

Annotation: I created several group chats in FB where my pupils and I can access. In organizing my assessment, I
am posting the file, with the instruction on how to answer the activity. I utilize the features like topics ( social
learning) in FB group for them to easily see whatever I upload. With this, they can access it anytime most especially
if the hard copy of the assessment that I have provided during the distribution of modules was misplaced. When it
comes in designing and selection, I only choose the task in the module that will really enhance the skill and

Annotation: Since I am conducting an Online Kamustahan with my learners at least


once a week, I am preparing some powerpoint and video lessons in our subject
(MAPEH5) for them to be guided and easily understand our lesson. I am also posting
these materials on our Group Chat for them to access it whenever they want to.

We joined and participated in webinars/SLAC/Insets for us to gain knowledge and understanding in different
matters that has something to do with Education. We do not allow ourselves to be stagnant. As teachers, we have to
be abreast with the changes . With these webinars/SLAC/Insets , we are honing our skills in teaching and learning
new styles/strategies that we can use in developing our learner holistically so that they can be globally competitive.

7.4. Professional reflection and learning to improve practice

LDM Course made teachers and school leaders improved the readiness and
preparedness of learning delivery modalities in response to covid-19 pandemic.
Basically, as a teacher, I find it very challenging on how I could deliver learnings to
my pupils in this new normal situation. Luckily, DepEd initiated an urgent action as
response to the on-going pandemic problem. And the LDM Course was implemented
nationwide.

The collection of artifacts reflection what I have done and what I achieved after
completing the course. It helps me to be prepared for this distant learning in this new
normal. These artifacts could tell what I have gained and learned from the course and
what I have discovered from myself. It made me realize that as a teacher/educator, I
need to adapt to the new system of learning delivery to address the learners needs. It
also honed a lot of skills that I have now.. Both of my intrapersonal and interpersonal
skills were also developed. It opens a lot of opportunities to a teacher like me. I
gained new knowledge, skills and positive mind-set that are necessary in this new
way of teaching and learning.. Despite the challenges that I have encountered, I am
very much grateful to DepEd for the opportunity to attend to this kind of course. It
serves as my weapon to do my job confidently and efficiently. Finally, I can say that ,
I am doing my best to continue the delivery of quality education to my pupils

Annotation: My reflective essay above expressed my in-depth personal experience in


implementing Distance LDM. To sum it up, LDM course capacitate me on approaches
and innovations to improve my performance in managing technological resources to
address the needs of my learners
