distance learning, it is the right mix and match of
technology to pedagogy to achieve learning.

• In the Philippines, the use of blended learning has
been observed and implemented in many learning
institutions especially that of Higher Education.
One of the most successful universities which
implemented blended learning is the University of
the Philippines (UP), yielding an increase on the
knowledge acquisition skills of students in their
assessment results.
Introduction
• Due to the new normal policy embraced by many
in the light of the COVID19 outbreak, the
Department of Education has suggested platforms
that learners may use at home like Google
Classroom, Edmodo and DepEd Commons. This
global health phenomenon has challenged many
academic institutions, to include that of the
education department, to maximize its ICT
resources and blended learning capabilities.
Methodology
• The study is a quantitative descriptive
research.
• This study determined the ICT tools used,
internet connectivity, and the structure of
the blended learning activities given to the
respondents. The implementation of
blended learning was done last November
2019 to March 2020.
Methodology
• The respondents of the study were grade 11
students who are enrolled in PR1 during the
SY 2019-2020 at La Salette of Ramon, Inc.
Using Slovin’s formula with a 4% margin of
error, there were 54 respondents involved.
The researcher also used a simple random
sample wherein, each students has an equal
chance of being included in the sample.
Methodology
• The researcher utilized survey questionnaires
using google forms in assessing the integration of
blended learning in teaching the subject. The
questionnaire was composed of statements
regarding their feedback and appropriate level.
The said instrument underwent validation and
was subjected to item analysis procedure. The
statistical treatment used were frequency
distribution, percentage and weighted mean.
• The researcher utilized a Likert scale in
interpreting the survey questionnaire result.
