A Polyherbal formulation, syrup is in clinical use for its anthelmintic activity for last few decades. However, no systematic study on its therapeutic/pharmacological effect is reported. The current research work was under taken to evaluate the anthelmintic property of some herbs and compare with the marketed formulation. The present study was to attribute the pharmacological effects to individual constituent as the formulation is of polyherbal nature. Prepared Curcuma longa and Moringa oleifera syrup show synergistic effect that's why formulated syrup is more effective than marketed albendazole syrup. Stability studies also concluded that the drug release profile or other parameters did not alter significantly after the accelerated stability studies. The study indicates that Polyherbal syrup i.e. Curcuma longa and Moringa oleifera will offer an option which is more convenient, effective and cost effective as compared to the marketed formulation.

Nasal delivery is the logical choice for topical treatment of local diseases in the nose and Paranasal sinuses such as allergic and non-allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. Pantoprazole is a most popular drug, which are used in peptic ulcer and widely distributed in India. Present study is done to assessment parameter of enteric coated Pantoprazole tablets. Two brands of Pantoprazole tablets were collected from Rampur for their assessment test. All brands demonstrated well-designed and good-looking external features. Tablets were reliable in hardness, friability, thickness, and weight. Brands f1, f2, exhibited sufficient mechanical strength to resist fracture and abrasion. In addition, f1 and F2 brand showed acceptable disintegration time, drug release pattern and drug content. The pathophysiology of Alzheimer Disease is very complexes, involving neurotransmitter system and processes. In this review number of diversity of aberrant mechanism increase the hope of finding and diverse therapeutic intervention for the treatment of AD. Hallmarks of AD neuritic plaque, loss of cholinergic cells, tau protein. It is the most common cause of dementia, leading to deterioration in vital cognitive process and behavioural changes. There are five drug approved for AD i.e. Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (4), for the symptoms of mild to moderate AD and glutamate receptor antagonist (1),for the treatment of moderate to severe AD. Recent developments in the field confirm some important predictions of the hypothesis and shed new lights on potential mechanisms regarding how steady state may be achieved in severe or sporadic AD cases ,our opinion is that, strengthen the hypothesis & our studied with these drugs are focusing on longer effect or follow up.

To investigate the effect of Curcumin in Celecoxib and STZ induced experimental dementia of Alzheimer disease in mice. Celecoxib and STZ for administrations were used to induce experimental dementia. Curcumin (150 mg/kg, p.o) treatment started two days prior to Celecoxib or STZ administration followed by treatment of Celecoxib (100mg/kg, p.o) and STZ (3mg/kg, i.c.v). Cognitive behaviour was asses by using Morris water maze and elevated plus-maze was used for by measuring transfer latency (TL). On 9 th day animals were sacrificed and acetyl cholinesterase activity was measured to assess cholinergic activity of the brain, thiobarbituric acid reactive species (TBARS) levels, catalase activity, DPPH assay and reduced glutathione (GSH) levels were measured to asses the oxidative stress in brain. The present data demonstrate that curcumin improves memory in celecoxib or STZ induced dementia. From the present data it may be concluded improvement of memory by treatment of Curcumin is due to decrease the oxidative stress.
