    Many years after Industrial Revolution, the threat working under arduous conditions poses as physical burden to laborers was realized. As industry developed, the concept of being a laborer evolved into a task that requires emotional assets of laborers in addition to physical burden. By American sociologist Arlie Hochschild, the term “emotional labor” was coined and investigated with many factors and concepts since then. This study empirically investigated the role of accepting external influence, a factor of authenticity, on emotional labor among the white-collar workers in Turkey.     Bu çalışmada cam tavan ve kraliçe arı sendromunun astlarla yüksek nitelikli etkileşim kurmada olası etkileri irdelenmektedir. Çalışmada yönetici cinsiyetinin çalışanın yöneticiyle etkileşimi açısından anlamlı farklılık yaratıp yaratmadığı da analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, Türk iş hayatında beyaz yakalı çalışanlar arasında, yöneticinin cinsiyetinin yöneticilerinden etkilenme, katkı sağlamaya istekli olma, sadakat ile bağlı olma ve profesyonel olarak saygı duyma ile şekillenen etkileşim düzeyleri açısından anlamlı fark yaratmadığı ortaya konmuştur.  Ayrıca çalışanın cinsiyetinin hem kadın hem de erkek yönetici ile etkileşim düzeyi açısından anlamlı fark oluşturmadığı tespit edilmiştir.

    In digital world, people spend most of their time on social media. Social media has gone beyond being just an online communication platform. It has become a channel that users prefer to other online platforms, such as websites, blogs, forums to get information about various businesses, events, and individuals. With Industry 4.0, all devices are connected to online platform, smart devices get more place in daily life. Instead of accessing information through individual applications, consumers prefer to obtain information from the company's social media pages and/or the company's internal and external customers' shared content. The purpose of the chapter is to indicate the importance of social media use, for organizations to interact effectively with all stakeholders, and to explain the benefits of social media usage of organizations in terms of different functions with examples from best cases and results of empirical researches.
