    Products offered by manufacturers, especially imported ones, may contain unknown substances. This gives the impression to consumers that they have to be careful when choosing a product. This principle is carried out as a result of the creation of halal awareness in the community and the development of information on halal certification. The purpose of this study is to explain the elements that influence consumer purchase intentions for halal goods. Halal awareness, halal certification, product quality and advertising are examples of these aspects. This study uses a quantitative research methodology, using PLS-SEM data analysis. This study shows that halal awareness and halal certification have a beneficial and significant effect on customer buying interest in halal goods.     This study critically analyzes the determinants affecting the readiness of public libraries in Indonesia to adopt a smart library from the perspectives of technology, organizational, and policy. The study conducted in-depth interviews with nine public officials from the department of library and information services and also the department of information and communication in the regency of Bojonegoro, Indonesia. Our findings indicate expensive investment in cutting-edge ICTs does not necessarily result in the achievement of the smart library. The results demonstrate that data awareness, organizational issues, insufficient policies and regulations, and public concerns as more significant challenges to the adoption of a smart library than technological capability and infrastructure in the case of a developing country.

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengurai permasalahan-permasalahan kemiskinan. Penelitian ini akanmenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui persepsi orang miskin dalam mengurai benang kusut kemiskinan. Orangyang lebih mengerti tentang kemiskinan dan mengapa mereka jatuh miskin adalah orang miskin itu sendiri, hal inidikarenakan bahwa orang yang mengetahui tentang apa yang terjadi adalah individu itu sendiri. Penelitian inidifokuskan pada Kampung Ledok yang tertelatak di Jl. MT. Haryono Gang 17 RT 01 RW 06 Kelurahan DinoyoKota Malang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kemiskinan terus terjadi karena ketidakpedulian danketidaksadaran dari seluruh kompone+n masyarakat, khususnya pemerintah. Basis struktur seperti tersebut adalah informasi yang terbuka dan dapat di-share dan kunci untuk mencapainya adalah keterbukaan data dan pemerintahan. This study aims to examine the challenges of developing halal industry in Indonesia and try to provide a strategy for developing human resources (HR). Existing literature points to important differences on the determinants of information sharing depending on which organizations are involved and how different they are from each other. Whether the organizations are part of a bigger entity or not seems also important. This study systematically compares the determinants of information sharing success in three different types of inter-organizational collaborations: (1) intra-agency, (2) inter-agency, and (3) cross-sectoral.     Even with the increasing relevance of a smart public library in the fast-paced environment like nowadays, a standardized definition of the term smart library is, in fact, still open for discussion, specifically in a developing country. This study aims to define the conceptualization of a smart library in developing countries. A case study encompassing documentation analysis and in-depth interviews with nine public officials at the Regency of Bojonegoro, Indonesia, was used to collect data. This study showcase that a smart library started from the innovative and inventive programs and services geared toward achieving the library as a place for the co-production of knowledge. Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Malang This study uses primary and secondary data. Collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Samples used in this study were 30 repondens. Data were analyzed using a range of scales. The results showed that the teller service to customers in accordance with the mechanism of activity ranging from customer service to wait on the teller, customers waiting for their turn, summoned by a queue of customers, identifying customer needs teller, teller record each customer’s needs, to the teller to handle the needs of customers . Teller service quality based on 5 (five) dimensions, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangible, using a range of scales, showing an average score of 130, 53 which means very satisfactory teller service to customers. Teller performance is still not entirely meet the standards set by the PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Malang, so it needs to improve teller performance with excellent service training, in collaboration with outside agencies to conduct outbound bank to form the mental and quality of skilled human resources are reliable and competent.     This study aimed at determining the implementation of Islamic values in the recruitment process (Case Study at University of Muhammadiyah Malang-UMM). This research applied qualitative method through a phenomenological approach. The informants of this study were (1) University Leaders; (2) Employees. Further, the data collected were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques, namely: Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui persepsi orang miskin dalam mengurai benang kusut kemiskinan. It is conducted by examining the experience realized by the informant (conscious experience) and the instruments of data collection are interviews, observation, and documentation so that researchers can obtain more complete data about the characteristics of Islamic organization culture at University of Muhammadiyah Malang.     Previous studies have identified leadership as an essential factor influencing inter-agency collaboration and information sharing in government settings. This study argues that some unique characteristics of inter-agency information sharing (IIS) initiatives across different jurisdictions and levels of government call for particular types of leadership. Specifically, this study uses data from in-depth interviews with fifteen public officials in Indonesia to better understand the role of leadership in inter-agency collaboration and information sharing initiatives. Findings from the interviews support two leadership mechanisms influencing IIS in Indonesia: executive involvement and exercise of formal authority, whereas the role of informal leaders seems to be less important in this case. It seems that in some developing countries such as Indonesia, informal leaders are not as influential to the success of IIS initiatives as formal ones, due to the influence of organizational culture.

Ini berarti dalam program pengolahan Ledre Pisang Raja terdapat gejala bias gender.     Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the challenges and critical factors of interagency information sharing (IIS) from the perspectives of technology, organization, policy and public participation in a developing country. Design/methodology/approach This study conducted a case study encompassing documentation analysis and in-depth semi-structured interviews of 15 public managers and other public officials in the Regency of Bojonegoro, Indonesia. Findings The findings demonstrate that addressing factors residing in organizational and policy and regulations challenges are critical and should precede the needs of technology. The findings also identified three factors affecting IIS in a developing country. First, the embeddedness of agencies in rigid bureaucratic and autocratic structure complicates the collaboration in IIS, such as promoting jurisdiction conflicts. The method of this study is quantitatif using questionnaire as method of collecting data. The method of analysis data using Partial Least Square (PLS) with several valid variables. The result indicate that religiosity of employee is able to play a role to improve welfare among employee of University of Muhammadiyah Malang.     Sharing knowledge across different units within an organization can be considered as one of the organization’s fundamental operation. Nonetheless, sharing information and knowledge across boundaries presents tremendous challenges for organization. This paper discusses the impact of social network structure and social media in mediating knowledge sharing against unit task performance. Based on the review of extant literatures in intra-organization information and knowlegde sharing, this paper accentuates on three propositions as follows: a) the use of online collaborative media reduces time spend on task by accelerating the electronic document quality assurance process, b) integrating expert ability with the use of collaborative media reduces time spend on task by accelerating the electronic document quality assurance process, and c) social network structure increase the likelihood to extract personal advice from colleagues, thus improve unit’s work quality.

    This article explores the complexity of open government and open data implementation from the perspective of local government in developing countries by addressing the challenges, success factors, lesson learned and the indicators of success. Using focus group discussions and in-depth interviews with public managers and other actors at the Bojonegoro regency, this study found five major challenges to open government and data, namely: a) the misappropriation and misused of the data, b) limitedness of technological capabilities, c) ensuring data credibility, d) the availability of information policy to govern openness, and e) maintaining public involvement and enthusiasm. BANK SYARIAH MANDIRI CABANG MALANG Sri Budi Cantika Yuli Staf Pengajar Program Studi D3 Keuangan dan Perbankan, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang e-mail : cantikayuli@yahoo.com ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the mechanism of teller services, service quality and compliance standards service quality provided to customers in PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Malang This study uses primary and secondary data. Collecting data using questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Samples used in this study were 30 repondens. Data were analyzed using a range of scales. The results showed that the teller service to customers in accordance with the mechanism of activity ranging from customer service to wait on the teller, customers waiting for their turn, summoned by a queue of customers, identifying customer needs teller, teller record each customer’s needs, to the teller to handle the needs of customers . Teller service quality based on 5 (five) dimensions, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangible, using a range of scales, showing an average score of 130, 53 which means very satisfactory teller service to customers. Teller performance is still not entirely meet the standards set by the PT. Bank Syariah Mandiri Branch Malang, so it needs to improve teller performance with excellent service training, in collaboration with outside agencies to conduct outbound bank to form the mental and quality of skilled human resources are reliable and competent.     This Research aims to test and analysis environmental change influence of effort covering environment far, industrial environment and the internal environment, either through together and also by partial over effort competence on food and beverage entrepreneur middle and small scale in Malang and Pasuruan. Samples used for this research are 60 entrepreneurs with maximal capital criterion 200 million and the effort walk to minimize 5 year. The analysis data is conducted through inferential statistical test and test regression weight/loading factor. The results of research indicate that there are positive influence and significant between effort environmental variable over effort competence. Direct effect equal to 0.278, indirect effect equal to 0.663 and totally equal to 0.941

Agar Gapoktan dapat berperan sebagai aset komoditas masyarakat Jatimulyo yang partisipasif, maka pengembangan kelembagaan Gapoktan harus dirancang sebagai usaha peningkatan kapasitas petani di Kelurahan Jatimulyo sehingga menjadi mandiri sedangkan kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan di Kelurahan Jatimulyo bertujuan untuk memberikan pembinaan dan pembenahan kepada Gapoktan agar mampu menyusun rencana bisnis dan membahas secara detail tentang produk, pelanggan, pangsa pasar, supplier, estimasi keuntungan, dan analisis persaingan usaha. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengalaman dalam menyusun rencana bisnis. This research used both primary and secondary data through interview, observation, and questionnaire. The sample used in this research is 60 workers randomly pick from the enterprise. Data analysis is conducted by using percentage and contribution analysis. The finding shows that the chicken entrails’ chips micro enterprises require no specified requirements in recruiting workers aside from willingness to work hard and compliance to the enterprise rules. There are several determinants that motivate workers to enter this industry, namely: having no particular skills, difficulties to find job, adequately paid, and continuing their parent’s business. In addition, the income generates from the business supplements the income distribution and welfare of the workers’ household. Accounting for the income from the industry to the household total income results in low inequality household’s income distribution and worker’s welfare.     The purpose of the research is providing an analysis on the economic opportunities that can be generated through the implementation of an integrated and well organized solid waste management in order to increase the economic value of garbage from the level of household, small, and medium industry to give positive impact due to the increased prosperity for the community in urban areas, especially the poor. The research employed survey method to identify the fundamental problems at the level of households and industries, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions to find strategic steps and practices in implementing integrated waste management which based on partnerships to overcome urban poverty. The results of this study indicated that the economic value of organic waste is Rp. 193, 952, 422 ($14,841.80) per year and Rp. 223, 142, 710 ($17,077.86) per year for inorganic waste.
