    State of the question. The idea that the teachings of Jorge Bergoglio are opposed to those of his predecessors has become prominent (and by predecessors, I refer to John XXIII and onward). It seems as if the Magisterium of the Church began with the Second Vatican Council, and ended with Joseph Ratzinger. An irate climate, almost close to schism, reigns in pseudo-traditionalist circles, since Jorge Bergoglio does not wish to favor continuity, but rather rupture. Ratzinger preached continuity, with a very deceitful hermeneutic, but it was sufficiently elaborate to satisfy the lovers of the Latin Mass.
