In the judicial order of criminal law of a purely accusing kind, which is still operating in medi... more In the judicial order of criminal law of a purely accusing kind, which is still operating in medieval times, the repression of the crimen calumniae and of the offences made by the accuser in court has always constituted a powerful deterrent against an instrumental use of the trial. The Decretum of Graziano transposes a fundamental part of the law of Giustiniano envisaged for this offence, determining, on some issues, considerable affinity in the thought of the civilists and canonists of the time. Il Primo Congresso Nazionale sui Domini collettivi presso la Società Tarquiniense d’Arte e Storia... more Il Primo Congresso Nazionale sui Domini collettivi presso la Società Tarquiniense d’Arte e Storia è stato frutto di un lungo progetto sviluppato in collaborazione con diversi istituti accademici nazionali ed esteri (tra i quali l’Universidad Católica de Murcia) e patrocinato dal Ministero per i Beni e le Attività culturali e per il Turismo.
Lo scopo principale della Riunione scientifica è stato quello di costituire una nuova occasione di dibattito interdisciplinare sugli assetti fondiari collettivi, soprattutto dopo la svolta costituzionale aperta dalla Legge 168 del 20 novembre 2017.

Il proposito della III Riunione Scientifica della Società Tarquiniense d’Arte Storia è quello di ... more Il proposito della III Riunione Scientifica della Società Tarquiniense d’Arte Storia è quello di costituire un luogo di riflessione interdisciplinare volto ad arricchire le conoscenze che si possiedono sul territorio della Tuscia, non solo in merito alla sua storia ricchissima e gloriosa, ma anche rispetto al suo cospicuo e prezioso patrimonio artistico e culturale.
Le terre sottoposte al dominio pontifico dislocate nei vecchi possedimenti toscani a nord di Roma, più o meno riconducibili all’attuale provincia di Viterbo e al comprensorio di Civitavecchia, vennero comprese alla fine del XII secolo in una delle divisioni amministrative istituite da papa Innocenzo III (1198-1216) come ripartizione dello Stato Ecclesiastico. Questo distretto fu denominato ‘Patrimonio di San Pietro in Tuscia’, proprio ad indicarne la specifica connotazione geografica. Rispetto alle altre province dello Stato pontificio, però, quella del ‘Patrimonio’ risulta essere la meno indagata e l’intento di questo convegno vuol esser proprio quello di incentivare gli studi che possono essere condotti al riguardo.
PRESENTAZIONE DELLE PROPOSTE
Il convegno è aperto alla riflessione di qualificati studiosi sulle seguenti macro-aree:
1. Stato della Chiesa e Patrimonio di San Pietro in Tuscia: Storia medioevale e moderna.
2. Stato della Chiesa e Patrimonio di San Pietro in Tuscia: Storia giuridica, economica e istituzionale.
3. Stato della Chiesa e Patrimonio di San Pietro in Tuscia: Archeologia e storia dell’arte.
