This research aimed to explore the literature on user experience (UX) and its correlation with perceived values. While previous studies have often examined UX and value in isolation, our study bridges this gap, highlighting their intertwined relationship. Utilizing a rigorous methodology, a bibliometric review was conducted on the Scopus and Web of Science databases, encompassing articles from 1966 to 2023. The research protocol was validated by a panel of experts, including three doctors and two specialists. Our findings revealed recurrent themes around usability, design, productivity, and the psychological aspects of value and UX. The results underscore the pressing need for a deeper understanding of the UX-value relationship. This study offers valuable insights for both practitioners and academics, emphasizing the significance of articles that delve into UX and perceived value. The aim of this paper is to analyze the impacts and effects of medication use during air transport. Through a literature review and documentary research methodology, relevant facts about the precautions that should be taken regarding the use of medication in flights were considered. As a practical contribution, some important medications and their possible effects during flights are presented, as well as some warnings about medication interactions, and some advice for better quality air travel for the health of passengers and crew are given. Qual a influência das competências organizacionais e dos vínculos sociais na competitividade das empresas que operam em rede de negócio? Essa é a pergunta central do novo modelo de campos e armas da competição aplicado a rede de negócios (CAC-Redes), em desenvolvimento por Contador, que integra num todo coerente três perspectivas: Visão Baseada na Indústria, RBV e Visão Relacional considerando simultaneamente a posição competitiva da empresa, suas competências e seus vínculos sociais. A concepção do CAC-Redes é aqui apresentada ineditamente. A pesquisa de campo adotou o método hipotético-dedutivo proposto por Popper para corroborar as hipóteses estatísticas provenientes do CAC-Redes. Duas são suas principais contribuições, que justificam sua importância: preencher lacuna teórica, pois há poucos estudos relacionando competência organizacional e vínculos sociais com vantagem competitiva das empresas, e subsidiar o desenvolvimento e futura validação do CAC-Redes.

The objective of this paper is to present factors that can impact the strategy, responsible for the understanding of the competitive context, so that a business and operation strategy can be formulated to reach competitive advantage. These factors were identified in CAC – Campos e Armas da Competicao (in Portuguese), Fields and Weapons of the Competition model of strategy formulation, and in the literature review. Using qualitative methodology supported on documentary research, we analyzed 10 industries listed in the BM&FBOVESPA Stock Exchange, Sao Paulo, Brazil, that composes the ISE Index (Enterprise Sustainability Index), with an estimated total market value of US$ 116 Billion based on October 2015. The results showed that the factors presented were used by these industries to formulate their strategies, but none used all of them. Industry 4.0 is a subject that has attracted the interests of researches worldwide for its ability to achieve productivity gains and to provide competitiveness to the companies. Although much research has been done on technical studies, little attention has been paid to the challenges that decision-makers, executives and managers face to implement the concepts of Industry 4.0 in their companies. This research was based on secondary data, involving a research made with 246 companies in Brazil, 287 in Germany and 72 in Portugal, which studied the internal and external obstacles and expectations of these 605 companies. The originality and practical implication of this research is to compare these three countries, studying common and different points to implement the concepts of Industry 4.0, so researchers can conduct their studies to try to provide answers to practical expectations, linking research to practice.

Essa limitação motivou a desenvolver o presente estudo com base em uma amostra de pequenas empresas do setor de confecções para comparar os benefícios e os requisitos entre atuar no mercado final ou no mercado terceirizado (como subcontratadas). Os benefícios considerados no estudo são o efeito que o crescimento nesses dois tipos mercados possui sobre a competitividade da empresa e sua produtividade, enquanto que os requisitos considerados são a capacitação técnica e a capacidade empreendedora da empresa necessárias para crescer nesses mercados. The objective of this research is to analyze the Production Planning and Control (PPC) as a dissemination tool of the operation strategy in industries that compete in environmental sustainability. We used a qualitative methodology supported by cases studies, based on interviews with managers responsible for the production planning and control of four big Brazilian industries. The results indicated that PPC can be an efficient tool to dissiminate the operation strategy for its power of integration with the many key areas involved in an industry, what can bring pratical implications to the ones responsible for the formulation and implementation of the operation strategy. The result is of value because PPC can be used as an ally of the operation/production managers to promote and lead the implementation of the operation strategy on the shop floor.

Apesar do crescente interesse pela Aquariofilia, escassos são os artigos científicos que contribuem com uma abordagem mais técnica, com respeito aos equipamentos nela empregados. O presente estudo tem por objetivo o desenvolvimento de um critério de seleção de bombas de circulação usadas para Aquariofilia baseado na ecoeficiência. A metodologia empregada foi a pesquisa de campo, através de questionário estruturado, aplicado pessoalmente a 30 especialistas do setor de Aquarismo. Os resultados mostraram que os requisitos mais importantes foram que as bombas devem ter baixo preço e boa qualidade. Isto pode fazer com que uma bomba de baixo preço de aquisição e, nível de qualidade aceita pelo consumidor, tenha um custo total elevado, por gastar mais energia para o seu desempenho, onerando o consumidor e utilizando mais recursos naturais para o seu funcionamento, comprometendo a ecoeficiência.
