The Shariah supervision system is a process to ensure Shariah compliance in business and economic activities. Nowadays, the Shariah supervision system is structured within the Shariah governance framework. Owing to its development directly from the Islamic financial system, it is somehow presented as if it is new, substantiated by a modern theoretical framework. Less attention has been paid to its background from an Islamic perspective, which, as seen in Islamic historical records, is well connected to many practices. This loophole has to some extent downplayed the significance of the contributions of Islam to this supervision system in the economy. This article offers a review of relevant literature to unearth evidence of the evolution of Shariah supervision from the time of the ancient Islamic world untill now. Using a qualitative research approach, data was collected from Islamic literature relating to the issue, and was analysed thematically. This study found that Shariah superv...

Numerous ethical breaches have made cooperatives, and their management endures pressure to improve their image and ethical performance. One of the ways identified is by adopting ethical codes. Codes are regarded as instruments to enhance social responsibility that contain open guidelines describing desirable behavior and closed guidelines prohibiting certain behaviors. Codes clarify the norms and values organizations seek to uphold. Regarded as social enterprises, cooperatives are compelled to scale up their operations for sustainability reasons towards positive contribution to the national economy. Past research on ethical codes affecting behavior, attitude and performance has yielded mixed results. In addition, there are very few studies devoted to cooperatives. This paper presents the results of scientific literature, highlighting how ethical codes and sustainability may progressively improve the cooperatives’ image and reputation in the eyes of the stakeholders.     Keywords: et...

The study aimed to shed light on the manifestations of mercy in women's social rights in Islam and see the situation of women in ancient civilizations. This study belongs to the pattern of studies estimating the situation based on the analytical inductive approach. It is one of the most important methods of scientific research, and the inductive approach relies on scientific observation, whereby texts and opinions related to the social rights of women are traced and then analyzed and inferring aspects of mercy in them in order to reach a complete perception of this study. The results of the study showed that the Islamic religion is the only one that strengthened the position of women, honored them, and gave them all their rights completely in a way that suits her natural fit compared to the situation of women in other civilizations. The researcher concluded that compassion is a basic principle with all the meanings of charity and softness away from the hardship in our true relig...

This research deals with the statement of the close connection between family and money as they are two important intentions of the purposes of Islamic legitimacy. When preserving it, money is the basis of life, and the family in Islam is the pillar and foundation of society. Islamic Sharia has also laid down a number of rules governing the maintenance of the family, whether in existence or not, and those who contemplate them find money an important component of its elements, directly or indirectly, This research paper concludes that wasting money in any way afflicts the Muslim family in bad way, and that all calls to corrupt the family in modern societies are spent without limit on promoting their false concepts, and that the success of reform projects cannot be conceived without providing the necessary money resources for it.
