The drug toxicity still have interest, most of researches and pharmaceutical companies are playing an important roles to produce safe new drugs and developed the others by better understand the safety of gentamox, we used 32 a second groups injected intramuscularly with gentamox for 3 days and five days respectively. The third group pretreated with vanillin orally at dose of 150 mg/kg for five days then injected intramuscularly with gentamox for five days. The fourth group was used as control group. All rats were sacrificed immediately after the end of treatment. It was found thât gentamox given for fives days had hepatorenal toxicity as lead to significant increased levels of AST, prominent pathological lesion of gentamox was dilated sinusoids filled with blood which called hepatic peliosis which become increased after five days of treatment. Also kidney of gentamox trea show hyp pretreatment abrogated the peliosis and hepatorenal toxicity of gentamox in albino rats.

Abstract: Fifty two Wistar albino rats of both sexes were used for determination of the LD50 and some toxicological studies of the active principles of Euphorbia heliscopia (sun spourge). The oral LD50 was 1211.7 mg/kg. b.wt. of crude ethyl alcohol extracts under our environmental conditions. The symptoms appear on the intoxicated animals were included increase activity and irritability, salivation, itching the nose and mouth on the cage floor, and diarrhea. The animals were tried to make tunnels under the bed and they were reluctant to stand at the cage corners. Finally the animals closed its eyes and become calm. The animals administered high dose were died after a latent period (3 hours) and some of the animals in other groups were died within 24 hours. Forty New Zealand white rabbits of about 1340 g live weight were used to evaluate the influence of diet supplemented with urea at different levels on growth performance, blood cellular and biochemical parameters. The rabbits were assigned into four dietary treatments control, 3 urea-supplemented groups (0.5%, 1% and 1.5% urea) for two months, at the Agriculture and Veterinary Research Station, King Faisal University. Rabbits supplied with ration containing 1.5% urea had significant increase in body weight after 4 weeks than those fed 1% urea (1995±60 vs. 1829± 53 g) and 6 weeks than the 0.5% group (3175± 125 vs. 2235±50 g).
