Abstrak Kompetensi kewirausahaan Kepala sekolah harus terwujud secara konkrit. Namun faktanya masih sedikit sekolah dasar yang mempraktikkan kewirausahaan. Padahal kewirausahaan adalah penopang kemandirian sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana praktik kewirausahaan di sekolah dasar dengan megambil lokasi penelitian di MIN 1 Kota Bandung, Indonesia. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta FGD (Focus Group Discussion). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik kewirausahaan ini muncul karena adanya peraturan Menteri pendidikan nasional yang mensyaratkan kompetensi kewirausahaan yang harus dimiliki kepala sekolah. Kepala sekolah telah menjadi penggagas, pelaku dan pengontrol langsung program kewirausahaan di MIN 1 Kota Bandung melalui manajemen yaitu dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian yang mendapatkan dukungan dari guru, siswa dan orang tua. Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren) are an Islamic educational institution that has been established for a long time before Indonesia's independence, the existence of pesantren has been tested despite the conditions that are often not impartial. This simple paper aims to examine the early history of the emergence of pesantren to date with a focus on the forms. The hermeneutical approach of Hans Georg Gadamer's "Fusion of Horizons" theory is used to analyze more about the pesantren from its ince ption until present . The result of this study is that pesantren were initially established because of a cleric and santri who were interacting in learning, to be able to make it Islamic boarding school ( huts , dormitories , surau, dayah, rangkang, and meruasa). This study is a literature review of character analysis with the main objective of profoundly investigating KHD’s concept of education about independent education through documentation studies and interviews, which were then analyzed using Content Analysis. This paper examines how to apply learning strategies that can increase motivation, activate the atmosphere, demanding concentration, fun / entertaining as well as can be a game in the learning process, especially learning Arabic. With a qualitative approach, which is the subject of discussion is an active learning strategy Crossword Puzzle, then analyzed with content analysis approach. The first result, the active learning strategy Crossword Puzzle is one of the strategies suitable for learning Arabic (mufrodat) because in addition to enabling students, motivating students in fact contain the values of characters such as meticulous, hard work, responsibility, help, and discipline. Second, the application of crossword puzzle was also able to be a game as well as a very good written assessment techniques for learners.
