Februar 2018 – Markus Frauchiger, Psychotherapeut FSP-praxis-frauchiger@bluewin.ch " Reiche und Mächtige können ihre Neurosen derart in gesellschaft-lich akzeptierten Formen unterbringen, dass sie sie nicht als krank-hafte Störung bemerken, nicht an ihr leiden " (Cremerius 1990 S.221)" Wie kann es sein, dass viele Prominente, Vermögende, Etablierte, aus Funk und Fernsehen Bekannte, Sportli-che, attraktive Menschen u.a.m. quasi " symptomfreie Symptome " haben? Neuerdings einen grossen Lei-densdruck verspüren bis hin zur Suizidalität, obwohl die Lebensumstände geradezu ideal erscheinen und kei-ne im herkömmlichen Sinne (d.h. gemäss ICD bzw. DSM-Diagnose-System) Psychopathologie vorliegt? Trotzdem oder gerade deswegen (?) tauchen sie zunehmend in unseren Praxen auf, nachdem früher eher Geist-liche und Geistheiler einerseits bzw. Mediziner und Psychiater andererseits von dieser Klientel aufgesucht wurden, so zumindest meine eigenen Erfahrungen. Wie kommt es, dass ein offensichtlich unfähiger, egozentrischer Showbiz-Typ Präsident der USA werden kann und dann erst noch innerhalb kürzester Zeit " erfolgreich " demokratische Grundfeste erschüttert und sogar abschafft – dies unter dem Jubel breiter Bevölkerungsschichten? Dieser neuen Irrationalität ist m.E. mit aufklärerisch-wissenschaftlichen Methoden nicht mehr beizukommen, sondern wir müssen auch bei uns selbst die zugrundeliegenden Mechanismen studieren welche es ermögli-chen, dass man selber in kurzer Zeit anfangen kann " alternative Fakten " zu akzeptieren und kritiklos über offensichtliche Unstimmigkeiten hinweg-zusehen bereit wird. " Warum werde ich nicht satt? " sangen die Punks " Die Toten Hosen " und prangerten damit den nicht-nährenden Fastfood und im übertragenen Sinne auch den Konsumkult und das " Immer mehr " des entfesselten Kapitalismus (heute würde man treffender von Neoliberalismus sprechen) an. Jacques Lacan und der u.a. auf Sprach-Bildern beruhende Strukturalis-mus können uns hierbei wertvolle Dienste leisten, auch und gerade in der sehr individuellen Arbeit mit be-troffenen Psychotherapie-KlientInnen, zu denen die Reichen, Mächtigen und Schönen meiner Erfahrung nach sehr oft gehören. In meiner eigenen langjährigen Praxis in Bern stelle ich mehr und mehr fest, dass es bei dieser Klientel oft nicht um Symptomreduktion geht, sondern um elementare, aber verlorene, verschüttete Be-dürfnisse und Wünsche wie Anerkennung, Bindung, Liebe und Freude am Leben – viele sind zunächst zu-sätzlich suizidal und leiden an tiefem Selbstwert und virtuellen Vergleichsängsten (s.u.). Auch wir PsychotherapeutInnen selber müssen m.E. die technik-und medienbedingt deutlicher zutage tre-tenden erkenntnistheoretischen Grundlagen unseres Tuns erkennen und abrücken von einer rein vernunft-basierten, scheinbar objektiven, positivistischen Arbeitsweise (sog. ‚evidence based medicine') und so aner-kennen, dass auch wir selber unbewusst denselben Mechanismen der Wirklichkeitsverkennung bzw.-konstruktion folgen wie die viel kritisierten Akteure und anderen " VIPs " aus Wirtschaft, Showbiz und Politik. Angefangen mit Platos Höhlengleichnis (Abb.rechts) möchte ich diesen für uns alle erstmal grundlegenden Um-gang mit dem Imaginären (Lacans berühmtes Spiegelsta-dium des Kleinkindes) als Projektion aufzeigen und so Ver-ständnis wecken für eine auf Ideen (Plato) und Vorstellun-gen beruhende archaisch-konstruktivistische Weltsicht. Diese indirekte Erkenntnisweise ist die uns allen u.a. durch den Aufbau des Auges vorerst einzig mögliche Wirklich-keit. Die etablierte Wahrnehmungspsychologie bestätigt die-se antike Philosophie auch empirisch (Abb.unten, vgl. auch Gestaltpsychologie). Erst mit dem Eintritt in die Welt der Sprache wird es dem Kind möglich, eine intersubjek-tive, relationale und resonante auf Sprache und Konsens basierende Welt-und Selbstsicht sich zu erarbei-ten – das Symbolische.

Der Begriff Theosophie lässt sich bis ins zweite Jahrhundert verfolgen und bezeichnet je nach "Traditionsstrom" 1 , vor allem seit dem Mittelalter, hauptsächlich mystisch-religiöse und naturphilosophische Weltanschauungs-modelle, die Offenbarungscharakter haben. 2 Dem Charakter nach beinhaltet Theosophie zudem eine "imaginativ-symbolische Denkweise" 3 , die auf Gnosis 4 ausgerichtet ist. Steiners Theosophie galt jedoch in erster Linie Fragen, welche die Mitglieder der Theosophischen Gesellschaft in der Nachfolge Blavatskys beschäftigten, auch wenn er im Unterschied zu dieser und ihren Anhängern einen an Goethes und Fichtes Erkenntnismethoden orientierten Zugang zur Geisteswelt skizzierte und sich ausdrücklich auf beide bezog.

The Christian faith conditions an esoteric world view, since it speaks of what is behind sensual perception and what can be researched scientifically. It is all the more surprising that this is missing. This deficiency makes religion appear more and more as a relic of the past that has no place in our time. How can the withdrawal to the Bible and credo, which leads to narrowing, how the Christian agnosticism be overcome?

Der christliche Glaube bedingt eine esoterische Weltanschauung, da er von dem spricht, was sich hinter der sinnlichen Wahrnehmung und dem naturwissenschaftlich Erforschbaren verbirgt. Umso mehr verwundert, dass diese fehlt. Dieser Mangel lässt Religion immer mehr als Relikt der Vergangenheit erscheinen, das in unserer Zeit nichts mehr zu suchen hat. Wie kann der Rückzug auf Bibel und Bekenntnis, der in die Verengung führt, wie der christliche Agnostizismus überwunden werden?

The following investigation is methodologically based upon what Arthur Versluis calls ”empathical empiricism“ (Versluis, 2002). The hermeneutic of esotericism – as any hermeneutic worth its name – requests a kind of participatory scientific research which, though avoiding unmitigated identification with the subject, has to walk with it as far as possible. To understand doesn’t mean to identify, but without at least an experimental identification, understanding is severely limited or even impossible. Read from this point of view, the work of Rudolf Steiner proves itself deeply rooted in a christian gnostic theosophy, represented by such esotericists like Eckhart, Tauler and Boehme. This is true not only of the ”theosophical” writings of Steiner in a narrower sense, but, as the author emphasizes, also of his ”philosophical” writings. The latter, published before 1900, lay the gnoseological foundation of the so called Anthroposophy, which emerged under the ”schechina” of Adyar-Theosophy in the first decade of the 20th century.

Im Mittelpunkt des Buches steht der Spiritualismus der Frühen Neuzeit, wobei mit diesem Begriff die Annahme einer ›geistigen‹, spirituellen Gegenwart Gottes bezeichnet wird. Dieser Spiritualismus kann sich in der Theologie etwa als Berufung auf göttliche Inspiration, in der Medizin, Alchemie und Naturphilosophie im Begriff einer göttlich beseelten Natur und in der Literatur als geistliche, erbauliche Dichtung äußern. Spiritualistische Tendenzen spielen dabei nicht nur in der frühneuzeitlichen Magie, Kabbala und Hermetik, im Paracelsismus und Rosenkreuzertum eine tragende Rolle, sondern auch in ihrer Opposition zu den entstehenden ›Naturwissenschaften‹ mit ihrem mechanistischen Naturbegriff und ihrem Rationalismus. Dieser Rationalismus wird gegen Ende des 17. Jahrhunderts zum eigentlichen Gegner des Spiritualismus. Während dieser sich jetzt vor allem im Pietismus äußert, bildet der Rationalismus ein wichtiges Element der sich konstituierenden Aufklärung.

This volume focusses on spiritualism in early modernity, the term meaning the assumption of the ›spiritual‹ presence of God. This form of spiritualism can be expressed in theology as an invocation of divine inspiration, in medicine, alchemy and natural philosophy as divinely endowed nature, and in literature as spiritual, uplifting poetry. Spiritual tendencies play a major role not only in early modern magic, Kabbalah and Hermeticism, Paracelsism and Rosicrucianism, but also in their opposition to the emerging »natural sciences« with their mechanistic understanding of nature and their rationalism. Towards the end of the 17th century, rationalism becomes the real adversary of spiritualism. While spiritualism was now primarily articulated through piety, rationalism became a constitutive element of the Enlightenment that now began to take shape.

This paper seeks to depict a reciprocal dialogue between the religious gathering of Sufism that is typical with piety and the social activities in the coffeehouse given to take pleasure and leisure occurring in one place in Yogyakarta. This depiction intends for reconsidering deeply how Sufism influences to society. Despite the gathering going on weekly, the everyday life of coffeehouse society from January to July in 2018 will present here to support the picture of dialogue. In result, there is a change of social formation in the coffeehouse by virtue of an encounter between piety and pleasure and leisure. The author's aims of discusses this because in the modern era peoples use this gadget many are because of the need of the spiritually, but not most of them can actualize themselves to find it. In this case, the figure of Ulil Abshar Abdalla initiated a study in the modern era in the online sites, especially on Facebook as a way of transforming the values of Sufism. Daniel Hermsdorf unternimmt in „Okkultsymbolik und Machtpolitik“ einen der ersten Versuch einer sinnvollen Begriffsfindung für Verschwörungstheorien. Er fragt nach Organisationsprinzipien wie dem Logentum und seiner sozialen Realität durch die Zeiten. Er betrachtet an Beispielen die historische Evolution von Verschwörungstheorien zu Freimaurern, Jesuiten, Illuminaten, später der Bilderberger und diverser anderer Geheimbünde und Elite-Clubs.
Das Misstrauen gegen Verschwörungstheorien wird einerseits dadurch verstärkt, dass unter diesem Rubrum relativ unterschiedslos die Geschichte der Freimaurerei, der internationalistische Lobbyismus globaler Industriekonzerne und Banken, Satanismus mit Menschenopfern oder auch der Zweifel an einer menschlichen Mondlandung und die Existenz von Außerirdischen gefasst wird. „Okkultsymbolik und Machtpolitik“ beschränkt sich auf die soziologische und historische Perspektive, d. h. auf Beispiele, deren wahrer Kern eindeutig, deren Ausdeutung und Bewertung aber umstritten ist. Dazu zählt die Existenz wirkungsreicher Geheimgesellschaften, wie sie bis ca. 1950 für die Freimaurerei gut erkennbar ist, ebenso wie eine Dynamik der Entwicklung weltlicher Macht von den Monarchien hin zum Geld-Adel, der sich in elitären Netzwerken, stark zugangsbeschränkten Personenkreisen, hierarchischen und dynastischen Traditionen formiert.
Andererseits gibt es einen Teilstrang in der konspiratologischen Debatte, der nicht nur weltlichen Reichtum und die Besetzung von Machtpositionen in Staat, Wirtschaft und Kultur betrifft. In ihm geht es darüber hinaus um spezielle geistige Inhalte, Esoteriken und Geheimlehren, die mit Okkultsymbolik einhergehen. Neben der emblematischen Funktion bestimmter Zeichen wie des freimaurerischen Zirkels und Winkelmaßes oder den Bauwerken von Washington, D.C. führt dies weiter zurück in der Kulturgeschichte und tiefer hinein in eigenartige Philosophien, die teilweise von Religionswissenschaften noch beachtet werden, teilweise ein gesellschaftlich fast unreflektiertes Eigenleben in okkultistischen Vereinigungen, Geheimgesellschaften und Sekten führen.

Suhrawardi built his philosophical thinking with the spirit of combining “intuition-mystical vision” with “rational-philosophical vision”. The combination of “intuition-mystic and rational-philosophical vision” is known as "hikmah al-Isyraq". The concept of Wisdom al-Isyraq is the second school of thought in Islamic Philosophy. This paper is a study of Suhrawardi's Sufistic philosophy with a historical and philosophical approach. The historical approach is used to review the thought settings that influence Suhrawardi's thoughts from the historical point of view of previous Islamic thought. In addition, a philosophical approach is also used to analyze documentary data in a fundamental, integral, and systematic manner with the descriptive-analysis method. The changes in lecturing methods during the Covid-19 pandemic created special pressure for students. The pressures and changes that occur in an individual have an impact on the emergence of stressful conditions. In the General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS) approach, the stressors lead a stress response beginning from the alarm, resistance and Exhaustion phases. In particular, this study discusses the conditions in the last phase, namely the Exhaustion phase. This online lecturing lasts a long time, so it requires high performance from students, and how the conditions in this Exhaustion phase describe the condition of their performance so far. This study used an open questionnaire which revealed Exhaustion responses based on the GAS approach. The study involved 50 students consisting of students from semester 3 to semester 7. Ihya’ ‘Ulum al-Din is one of the most studied books in the pesantren, especially in the pesantren of Sidogiri. The main reason is because the book has been considered as a book of sufism with high values of moderation. This study aims to identify the moderation values of da'wah in the Ihya’ and examine its effect on the da'wah paradigm of pesantren of Sidogiri. This study uses Gadamer's hermeneutic approach to connect the theory in the ihya' and the reality of da'wah at the pesantren of Sidogiri. Data obtained through documentation, interviews and observations. This study shows that the concept of da'wah in the Ihya’  is full of high values of religious moderation. This can be understood from the concept of amr ma'ruf nahi munkar which al-Ghazali explained in his work. This research also shows that the moderation value in the Ihya’ affects the da’wah paradigm of pesantren of Sidogiri which is moderate and full of persuasive approaches.

This paper aims to provide an overview of how the implementation of Client Centered therapy in the perspective of Sufistic psychology. The application of client centered therapy itself is often done in the counseling guidance process in schools. However, counseling based on Sufi Psychology with the secular has a very significant difference, especially if it is associated with improving one's mental health. Sufistic psychology itself is the result of the integration of scientific scholarship and Sufism. The literature search method is carried out on a number of research journals on related themes. The data is then analyzed and the results of this study indicate that therapy in Islam is an activity with the intention of transferring behavior, namely the change of bad behavior in a more positive direction, by promoting personality development.
