English Abstract: The study relies on a complex research project, financed by the European Union, which aimed at measuring, first of all, the training and managerial consultancy needs of entrepreneurs and of those who wish to start a business in the rural environment in the North-Eastern, Central and South-Eastern areas of Romania (18 counties). In order to understand these training and consultancy needs, the research also investigated the issue of values. By identifying the specificity of rural entrepreneurial culture, we can understand the current situation in the entrepreneurial environment of Romanian villages and draw up strategies for its development. The research shows that there is a great deal of interest to start a business among young persons, but the existent managerial culture is extremely poor.Romanian Abstract: Studiul se bazeaza pe un proiect de cercetare finantat de Uniunea Europeana, care a vizat masurarea nevoilor de consultanta manageriala ale intreprinzatorilor si ale celor care doresc sa inceapa o afacere in mediul rural in regiunile Nord-Est, Centru si Sud-Est (18 judete). Pentru a putea intelege aceste nevoi de instruire si consultanta, cercetarea a investigat problema valorilor. Identificarea specificului culturii antreprenoriale rurale permite intelegerea situatiei actuale din mediul de afaceri al satelor romanesti si si elaborarea unei strategii pentru dezvoltarea sa. Cercetarea arata ca exista un foarte mare interes pentru inceperea unei afaceri in randul tinerilor, dar cultura manageriala existenta este extrem de saraca.

The COVID-19 pandemic forced a large number of people into telework. The change of working conditions was not done with the help of specialists or with the support from employers, resulting in improvisations that had negative consequences for employee health. The survey conducted by the Bureau of Social Research at the end of 2020 measured the impact of work from home on various health problems and body organs. The results clearly show a deterioration of the bones, muscles and joints, the mental system, the stomach, the eyes and the heart for an important segment of the employees. The most vulnerable people were those aged 40-60, PhD graduates, domiciled in medium and small cities, employed by the state in areas that had the greatest difficulties in adapting to digitization and working on online platforms: culture, education, public administration. As experts say that working from home will continue in the coming years even after the pandemic disappears, the deterioration of employees' health will intensify.
