In this review, I draw a brief analysis of the work of Christopher Baron, PhD of Notredame, USA on Timaeus of Taormina, the Greek historian of the IIIrd BCE and also about the Ancient Greek Historiography focusing on Timaeus’ times. The main Contributions of Baron is the method to reconstitute the fragmentary work of historians and also the notion of criticism of the genre in antiquity developed in the early XXth century.
