civiles en un barrio humilde del centro de la ciudad de Palma, Mallorca, en las Islas Baleares. Solo queda una
persona viva que presenciara aquel acontecimiento y que sigue residiendo en el mismo lugar de los hechos. Nos
presta su testimonio oral de sus vivencias durante el ataque y otras experiencias durante la guerra.

This is a short paper on the interpretation of the figure of the Japanese Emperor from three perspectives: historical origin, anthropological reading and its role in the Japanese constitutions of 1889 and 1946. The main objective is to provide a better understanding for the figure of the Emperor of Japan and his cultural, political and social importance right now, just on the verge of the beginning of a new era for the country.
