Reduction of switch count in symmetrical and asymmetrical reduced switch multilevel inverter designs has been proposed regularly with operation of conventional carrier-based pulse width modulation technique. In this study, a novel structure of symmetrical Hexa shaped model reduced switch seven level output inverter is proposed without any auxiliary switch and H-bridge. Proposed structure offers a smaller number of switch count and voltage sources which results in the cost and complexity reduction of its implementation. To operate the switching sequence of inverter from carrier based APOD, POD and PD methods, suitable logical expression to be realize which gained more prominence. Active utilization of two voltage sources in each mode of operation results in significant reduction of voltage stress across each switch is achieved. Induction machine are widely used in most of the industries and house hold appliances etc. in motoring operation or else it is working as a generator in variable wind speed power generation scheme, cage rotor induction machines are suitable for motor and generator operation because of its rugged rotor construction, simple in control, easy to maintenances. Different techniques are implemented to control the speed; V/F control is predominant to others in particular for variable speed drive applications. Attempted to implement the V/F control of a 3-Ф, 1kW, 415V, 2.2A, and 1440 rpm delta connected machine is presented in this paper. The machine parameters are estimated on line by using Lab VIEW. This paper proposes the analysis and design of new current fed full bridge high gain isolated dc-dc converter for fuel cell application. The proposed converter uses voltage multiplier cells on the secondary side. The objective of the proposed converter is to generate DC link voltage for three phase grid from fuel cell. Current fed Converter reduces the input current ripple at the fuel cell input. The converter utilizes the energy stored in the transformer leakage and parasitic capacitance to maintain zero-current-switching (ZCS) over wide range. Soft switching permits higher switching frequency operation, reducing the size, weight and cost of the magnetic components and improve the converter efficiency. This paper presents isolated high boost dc-dc flyback converter with high voltage gain suitable for renewable energy source. The circuit consists of active clamp circuit and boost converter with isolated transformer. The circuit employs capacitors are charged in parallel and discharged in series by isolated transformer inductors. The active clamp circuit is used during the turn off-period to reduce the voltage spike on power switch. To achieve high output voltage gain the flyback converter output terminal and boost converter output terminal are connected in serially with the isolated inductors with less voltage stress on controlled power switch and power diodes. PSIM software has been used for simulation. Hardware model implemented and tested in the laboratory.
