Technology integration in the curriculum improves student's interest to learn, thus resulting to better academic performance. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the Digital Electronics Trainer with Arduino, its operation manual and laboratory manual. Specifically, it aimed to map competencies of the Digital Electronics subject to the design of the trainer, to assemble and construct Digital Electronics Trainer with Arduino and its operation manual and laboratory manual, to evaluate the functionality of DETA, and to prepare and validate the laboratory manual and operation manual for the DETA. The descriptive-developmental research design was used. The design and construction of the DETA are based on the needs of the mapped competencies of digital electronics subject. It was evaluated and validated, using the mode. DETA is an alternative to the present conventional digital electronic trainer that addresses the limitations of the current digital electronic trainer. The DETA is effective, portable, and reasonably priced, and it does not necessitate much maintenance.

Confianza relacional al interior de escuelas y liceos. Resultados de estudios en Chile (2017-2023), 2024

En este libro compilamos, junto a Javiera Peña, un conjunto de artículos (algunos de ellos no publicados previamente o solo publicados en inglés) sobre la confianza relacional en escuelas y liceos de Chile. Ellos corresponden a resultados de estudios empíricos, tanto cuantitativos como cualitativos, que se desarrollaron entre los años 2017 y 2023. Se abarca desde elementos de conceptualización de la confianza relacional hasta estudios en que el foco son las relaciones efectivas de confianza que sostienen distintos actores de la vida escolar (docentes, directivos, estudiantes) entre sí. El período estudiado considera lo ocurrido en los tiempos de la pandemia COVID-19, que alteró fuertemente los vínculos de confianza al interior de los centros escolares.

A finales del siglo XVI la Corona puso en marcha el ambicioso proyecto denominado congregaciones civiles, el cual pretendía reorganizar la geografía novohispana para paliar los efectos ocasionados por la crisis demográfica, entre otros objetivos. Las diligencias que se produjeron en estos procesos se acompañaron en algunas ocasiones por mapas; pero hasta la fecha no se ha realizado un análisis formal de ellos. En este trabajo se presenta el contexto en que se produjeron, se ponen en relación con otro tipo de cartografía indígena producida durante el siglo XVI, se aportan características generales de un conjunto de mapas localizados en el Archivo General de la Nación (AGN) y se muestra el análisis detallado de uno en concreto, el que acompaña al expediente de la congregación de la doctrina de Nochixtlán.

In the article author states and justifies three theses on the lay judges and their participation in the exercise of justice in Poland. First thesis claims that the statement about the lack of integration in the community of lay judges in Poland is not true any longer and it is possible to observe the beginning of a process of its integration and cooperation connected with the recent establishment and activity of the Association National Council of Lay Judges. The second thesis states, that it is necessary to broaden the participation of citizens in the exercise of justice as a remedy for a low level of legitimacy and credibility of the judiciary. According to the third thesis Poland is presently in need of a widespread public debate concerning the reform of the institution of lay judges which should lead to a real fulfilment of the constitutional right of citizens to participate in the exercise of justice.
