In the Roman period, the region north of the Middle Danube, including western Slovakia, occupied an unique position within the so-called Germania magna. It owed this significance to its exceptionally intense contacts with the Roman world, with which it bordered on the Danube. One of the phenomena that did not appear anywhere else in barbarian Germania in a comparable form are Roman stone buildings. These served for various purposes and appeared in different periods from the 1st century BC until the beginning of the Migration period. The article examines buildings from the 3rd and 4th centuries that – although built by the Romans – served as residences for the local Germanic societal elite.

As a part of Bachelor of Business Administration program, three months internship was carried
out in the Othoba.com. The objectives of this study is to identify and analyze the factors that
influence consumer behavior to buy something from online.. This study is undertaken to
understand the behavior of online shoppers through a self-constructed questionnaire of 92
respondents from different Facebook group. The survey reveals that consumers shop online to save
time, and for available varieties of products and services. Both male and female both have the
same type of behavior towards liking and disliking factors; they like home delivery facility and
dislike inability to touch and feel the product most. They acquire online shopping information from
websites especially from the social network and purchase apparels, accessories mostly through
cash on delivery method of payment. The most of the consumers are concern about the security of
the payment system, and their overall online shopping satisfaction is mixed.

Unlocking the secrets of cellular uptake: paving the way for new cancer and disease treatments Drug development is a balancing act between ensuring that the drug is suitable for the target and that the drug can penetrate the cell membrane to reach the target. Typically, research into drugs that can cross cell membranes has focused on small, rigid molecules with nonpolar chemical structures. However, new therapeutic strategies break traditional drug design rules by using larger, flexibly linked chemical entities. Recently, a team of researchers from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) published a study in Science, in which they unveiled a new discovery of a cellular uptake pathway critical for macromolecules. These large, complex molecules bind to their targets in unique ways, are efficiently taken up by cells, and have the potential to be used to create new drugs to treat cancer and other diseases. Through a combination of functional genomics and chemical approaches, the scientists discovered an endogenous pathway involving interferoninduced transmembrane (IFITM) proteins that facilitate cellular uptake of different associated chemotypes. These proteins are found in the plasma membrane and normally provide the cell's resistance to viruses. Most traditional medicines are small molecules that follow simple molecular rules, including limiting the size of the molecule and the number of sticky chemical groups on the surface of the molecule. Many key drug targets, such as kinase enzymes frequently involved in cancer, are difficult to selectively target with conventional drugs.

Diabetes Mellitus requires long-term management at a considerable cost. Therefore, a cost-Effectiveness analysis was used to assess several health interventions. Biguanide and Sulfonylurea provided the best results at the cheapest cost in this study. This study aims to gain a supporting theoretical foundation regarding the cost-effectiveness of using oral antidiabetic drugs biguanide and sulfonylureas in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The method used in this study is a Narrative Review using literature that discusses the cost-effectiveness of oral antidiabetic drugs biguanide and sulfonylureas in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Based on the results of this study, the age range of the occurrence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is 45-65 years, with more percentage of male patients than women and a common complication is hypertension. O-mannosylation is an important protein modification in eukaryotes that is initiated by an evolutionarily conserved family of protein O -mannosyltransferases. The first mammalian protein O -mannosyltransferase gene described was the human POMT1 . Mutations in the hPOMT1 gene are responsible for Walker–Warburg syndrome (WWS), a severe recessive congenital muscular dystrophy associated with defects in neuronal migration that produce complex brain and eye abnormalities. During embryogenesis, the murine Pomt1 gene is prominently expressed in the neural tube, the developing eye, and the mesenchyme. These sites of expression correlate with those in which the main tissue alterations are observed in WWS patients. We have inactivated a Pomt1 allele by gene targeting in embryonic stem cells and produced chimeras transmitting the defect allele to offspring.
