Zakat position as a unique worship is on it’s management system, which is handled by amil. Especially in Malaysia, zakat tasks undertaken by the state government under State Islamic Religious Council (MAIN). Several MAIN has established a company as a step to optimize zakat collection. The government should help the community by providing facilities that support the such as process of payment channel. This study consists of payment channels that have been prepared with a view to which channel is able to deliver better results for the institution. To evaluate these channels, the study will refer to PPZ and LZS as a study case. Based on the look of efforts as well as issues arise, this study will outline some suggestions such as research, promotional activities and others.
Kedudukan zakat sebagai suatu ibadat yang unik adalah pada sistem pengurusannya, yang dipertanggungjawabkan kepada para amil. Khususnya di Malaysia, tugas amil zakat dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah negeri di bawah Majlis Agama Islam Negeri (MAIN). Sesetengah MAIN telah menubuhkan syarikat kutipan zakat sebagai langkah mengoptimumkan keberhasilan. Pihak pemerintah sewajarnya membantu masyarakat dengan menyediakan kemudahan yang menyokong pelaksanaan berzakat antaranya dari sudut proses penerimaan bayaran. Kajian ini melihat kepada saluran-saluran bayaran yang telah disediakan dengan melihat kepada sejauh mana saluran tersebut mampu menjana keberhasilan kepada organisasi yang berpengalaman iaitu PPZ dan LZS. Melihat kepada usaha-usaha serta isu yang timbul, kajian ini menggariskan beberapa cadangan penambahbaikan berbentuk dasar antaranya dari sudut penyelidikan, aktiviti promosi dan lain-lain.
