This thesis (1999) delves into Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd's hermeneutics of the Qur'an, which was, at that time, not yet systematically formulated. It tries to reconstruct his theories of text and interpretation based on his works, and gives some examples in which he implemented his hermeneutics, such as the issues of  evil forces (jinn, shayâtîn, sihr and hasad), ribâ and interest, slavery,  polygamy, and women's Inheritance. Abu Zayd's contribution to Qur'anic hermeneutics is important in developing critical Qur'anic scholarship.

Abstract. The given study uses an analytical-descriptive method to analyze the story of the Prophet Musa and Al-Khidr. There are questions and irresolutions about this story that do not correspond to the high position of Prophet Musa (Alayhis Salaam) and the innocence of the prophets. In this article, we have examined them and gave answers to the questions and irresolutions. In order to achieve this goal, the most comprehensive theories of thinkers and elucidators of both believs have been studied, and different answers on the above topic have been derived from the books of commentaries of the believs. The results of the study show that none of the controversial behaviors of the divine prophets contradicted the subject of their innocence. Verses that do not correspond to the point of innocence are either simple conventional sentences that do not indicate the occurrence of sin, or in fact, the main appeal is not to the prophets, but to the believers in general. What contradicts the infallible status of the prophets is that they disobeyed the divine commands and rulings. The bases and origins of differences in tastes and trimness of individuals that arise in the course of everyday events, differing in the style of activities of objects, have no relation with the issue of innocence.

Allah telah menciptakan alam semesta beserta isinya seperti Tumbuhan, hewan, dan lain lain. Tumbuhan dan hewan atau flora dan fauna sudah menjadi simbol atau ciri khas setiap negara. Flora dan fauna memiliki keterkaitan satu sama lain seperti yang telah dijelaskan dalam ayat ayat Al-Quran. Agar mengetahui penjelasan ilmiah Al-Quran tentang flora dan fauna lebih dalam, Metode studi dokumen digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data data yang konkret. Berdasarkan perbedaan pendapat tentang penjelasan ilmiah dalam ayat ayat Al-Quran yang menjelaskan bahwa hewan diciptakan dari air. Menurut pandangan sains air yang dimaksud adalah mikroba, sedangkan menurut para mufasir air itu adalah air mani. begitupula tumbuhan yang membutuhkan air, cahaya, karbon, oksigen, dan lain lain. Tumbuhan, tumbuh dengan air yang telah Allah SWT turunkan melalui hujan. Lalu Allah menciptakan tanah yang subur sehingga tumbuhan tumbuh dengan baik. Begitulah kuasa Allah SWT yang telah menciptakan hewan dan tumbuhan saling berkaitan dan membutuhkan satu sama lain.

ستفيضُ الدكتور عصام عيدو (Issam Eido)، الأستاذ الزائر بكليّة اللاهوت في جامعة شيكاغو، في هذا الحوار المطوّل حول قضايا ترتبطُ بشكلٍ أساسيّ بالاستشراق عمومًا، والاستشراق القرآنيّ خصوصًا، خاصّةً بعد اكتشاف مخطوطات برمنغهام للقرآن الكريم، وهو الحدث الذي أثارَ جدلًا على الصعيدين العربيّ والغربيّ، وموقف مناهج الاستشراق القرآنيّ عمومًا من التعاطي مع القرآن وتطوّرها.



ولذلك قمنا بإجراء هذا الحوار العلميّ مع عيدو في ضوء الدعوات المترامية حول "أفول" الاستشراق، وصحّة هذه الدعوات من بطلانها، وهل من مستقبلٍ للاستشراق بشكله الكلاسيكيّ؟ أم أنّ الاستشراق يُعيد بناء ذاته في صيغٍ جديدة؟ وما علاقة ذلك كلّه بمصطلح "الإسلام" و"المسلمين" في أوروبّا وأمريكا اليوم؟ ووضع المسلمين بالتحديد داخل الغرب بما أنّ الغرب، كما صِيغَ استشراقيًّا، راح يُعرَّف بما أنّه مسيحيّ - يهوديّ.



يأتي هذا الحوار في وقتٍ فارقٍ، وفي لحظاتٍ تمسُّ الشّرط الإنسانيّ برمّته في ظلّ هذه الظروف كلّها التي نحياها اليوم. لذا، فإنّ أجوبة عيدو تكون أهمّيتها مضاعفة؛ من ناحيةٍ فهي أجوبة علميّة خالصة ومقتدِرة نظريًّا، ومن ناحية ثانية فهي تمسّ كلّ مَن يهتمّ بحقل "الدراسات الإسلاميّة" غربًا وشرقًا.

Tujuan penulisan skripsi ini adalah Untuk generasi muda menyadari pentingnya membangun perdamaian melalui dialog antara umat beragama.
Adapun hasil penelitan dapat disimpulakan: Pertama, bangsa Indonesia terdiri atas beranekaragam budaya, suku,adat, agama dan kepercayaan. Perbedaan ini merupakan suatu kekayaan dan kebanggan bangsa Indonesia yang mana berbeda-beda tetapi tetap satu yaitu bangsa Indonesia. Perbedaan ini disisi lain dipandang sebagai kekayaan dan kebanggaan tapi disisi lain menjadi suatu masalah bangsa Indonesia. Adanya perbedaan ini, menimbulkan suatu konflik social dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Konflik yang tidak bias dihindari adalah adanya perbedaan pemahaman dalam memahami ajaran agama masing-masing pemeluk agama karena masing-masing pemeluk agama mengklaim agamanya yang paling benar dan dapat menyelamatkan. Maka dari hal inilah munculnya sika pfanatis medan prasangka terhadap pemeluk agama lain. Kedua, prasangka terhadap agama lain dapat dijumpai melalui media sosial, lingkungan, bahkan teman sekolah dan di manapun, maraknya konflik yang terjadi selalu mengatasnamakan agama maka mulai muncul pertikaian, permusuhan bahkan bias menelan korban. Oleh sebab itu salah satu cara untuk menyelesaikan konflik agama adalah dengan mengklarifikasi kepercayaannya melalui dialog terhadap penganut agama lain. Ketiga,untuk memperoleh suasana yang damai dan tidak ada konflik adalah setiap orang harus memandang dan memahami perbedaan itu sebagai sesuatu yang indah karena perbedaan tidak harus menjadi penghalang untuk menjalin hubungan dengan kelompok masyarakat yang beragama lain. Karena sebagai makluk ciptaan Tuhan, manusia adalah makluk sosial  yang membutuhkan bantuan orang lain untuk berinteraksi dan menjalani kehidupannya. Penyelasaian prasangka dan konflik adalah melalui dialog. Dialog adalah berbicara, bercakap-cakap, bertukar pikiran dan gagasan mengenai sebuah masalah yang dibahasa dengan maksud untuk saling mengerti, memahami, menerima, hidup damai, dan bekerjasama untu mencapai kesejahteraan bersama. Dialog bukan debat, melainkan saling member informasi tentang agama masing-masing, baik tentang persamaan maupun perbedaannya. Keempat, komunitas YIPCI regional Jawa Barat adalah sebuah organisasi yang berbentuk komunitas lintas agama. Fokus YIPCI regional Jawa Barat adalah generasi muda (dari mahasiswa sampai usia 30 tahun), komunitas ini menjunjung nilai perdamaian, mewujudkan perdamaian dalam semua gerak generasi muda serta menyebarkan perdamaian kepada masyarakat luas tanpa membeda-bedakan. Oleh sebab itu, himbauan untuk para mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Teologia Jaffray Makassar untuk mengikuti kegiatan ini, agar ada kerjasama untuk mewujudkan perdamaian bersama. Kegiatan Student Interfaith Peace Camp dalam komunitas YIPCI regional Jawa Barat merupakan sarana terbaik untuk saling mengenal teman-teman Muslim secara lebih mendalam. Sebagai pengikut Kristus, salah satu cara untuk mengekspresikan mengasihi Tuhan yang tidak kelihatan adalah dengan mengasihi sesame kita yang kelihatan. Dan hal ini hanya bias ditemukan di dalam kegiatan YIPCI regional Jawa Barat. Kelima,dalam komunitas YIPCI regional Jawa Barat, peserta bersama-sama belajar 12 nilai perdamaian.Tentu hal ini ada sangkut pautnya dengan belajar dari ayat-ayat dalam Al-Quran, Taurat dan Injil.Hal ini secara tidak sengaja kita memperkenalkan Juruselamat kepada teman-teman dari agama lain.

Many of Moslem people do not know that aside Qur'an, they have some other holy books.  Many Christian also blame Moslem people and accusing that they did not know anything about their faith.
Truly, a Moslem should be friend with a Christian!

The Quran is basically a book of guidance. Its main objective is to guide the humanity in this life. The author in this paper has attempted to identify the approaches one can take to achieve this objective.

The author suggests that the engagement with the Quran should be a lifelong avocation for Muslims. He has identified five approaches namely: daily recitation, listening to a Qari, reading with understanding (contemplation) on a regular basis, taking a holistic approach in matters of belief (aqidah) and worship (ibadat), and an intent driven approach for social issues (muamlat).

Recitation could work as a sound therapy. It could generate emotional response and altered mental and physical state in the reciter and could be therapeutic. Listening to the Qira'a in a beautiful rhythmic tone is a form of focused awareness type of meditation called sound meditation. It could generate binaural beats, which could lead to states of deep relaxation or meditative trance like state. A perpetual reading with understanding can raise a person's rank in knowledge. Depending upon ones schedule and intellectual level, he can pursue one or more of these approaches.

One of the best reviews of my book "Narratives of Tampering in the Earliest Commentaries on the Qur'an" (Brill, 2011) is by Cornell University professor David S. Powers. A good review seeks to thoroughly understand the work under consideration, to summarize it well, to acknowledge any virtues, and to clearly indicate mistakes and shortcomings. It seeks to be fair and balanced, and veers toward neither flattery nor personal attack. Authors whose books are reviewed in respected journals need to first of all be very thankful that other scholars take the time and trouble to read their works carefully and write helpful evaluations.

Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We have sent you (O Muhammad ) not but as a mercy for the Aalameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists)” [al-Anbiya’ 21:107]. The scholars differed concerning the ‘Aalameen (translated here as “mankind, jinns and all that exists”; also often translated as “the worlds”) to whom the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was sent as a mercy.

Prophet (peace be upon him) is indeed a blessing and mercy of Allah to the whole world. This is because he aroused the neglectful world from its heedlessness and gave it the knowledge of the criterion between truth and falsehood, and warned it very clearly of both the ways of salvation and ruin. This fact has been stated here to tell the disbelievers of Makkah that they were quite wrong in their estimate of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that he was an affliction and distress for them because they said: This man has sown seeds of discard among our clans and separated near relatives from each other. They have been told here: O people, you are wrong to presume that he is an affliction for you; but he is in reality a blessing and mercy of Allah for you.

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the best role model for all humankind. Among his outstanding virtues and characteristics, he was an extraordinary husband, a perfect father, and a unique grandfather. He was also a great statesman, judge, and spiritual leader. His most distinctive quality, however, was the fact that he was a blessing to all in both word and deed. He infused justice, love, and dignity in all those around him. He spread the power of brotherhood to the extent that it became exceptional in human history. Affirming that these grand virtues were bestowed on him by Allah the Almighty and that He prepared His loyal messenger to call for the true religion, is part of one's belief.

The Qur'an describes the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as merciful and kind to the believers. Allah the Almighty says, {Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful.)  (At-Tawbah 9:128)

The Prophet's Love for Mankind

The Prophet Muhammad is introduced in the Qur’an in these words:
[And We have not sent you forth but as a mercy to mankind. ] (Al-Anbiyaa’: 107)

According to a tradition recorded in the Sahih of Imam Muslim, when the Prophet’s opponents greatly increased their persecution, his Companions asked him to curse them. At this the Prophet replied, “I have not been sent to lay a curse upon men but to be a blessing to them.” His opponents continued to treat him and his Companions unjustly and cruelly, but he always prayed for them.

Once he was so badly stoned by his enemies that the blood began to spurt from all over his body. This happened when he went to Ta’if, where the Hijaz aristocracy used to while away their summer days. When he attempted to call them to Islam, instead of listening to his words of wisdom, they set the street urchins upon him, who kept chasing him till nightfall. Even at that point, when he was utterly exhausted and bleeding from head to foot, all he said was, “O my Lord, guide my people along the true path, as they are ignorant of the truth.”

His heart was filled with intense love for all human kind irrespective of caste, creed, or color. Once he advised his Companions to regard all people as their brothers and sisters. He added, “You are all Adam’s offspring and Adam was born of clay.”

All this tells us what kind of awareness he wanted to bring about in man. His mission was to bring people abreast of the reality that all men and women, although inhabiting different regions of the world, and seemingly different from one another as regards their color, language, dress, culture, etc., were each other’s blood brothers. Hence a proper relationship will be established between all human beings only if they regard one another as sisters and brothers. Only then will proper feelings of love and respect prevail throughout the world.

According to a hadith, the Prophet once said, “A true believer is one with whom others feel secure. One who returns love for hatred.” The Prophet made it clear that one who would only return love for love was on a lower ethical plane. We should never think that we should treat people well only if they treat us well. We should, rather, be accustomed to being good to those who are not good to us and to not wronging those who harm us.

The story of a man named Lukman told directly by Allah in Surah Luqman, can be a model for educating children, especially in the education of the family between father and son. The dialectical method of teaching it contains important material that can be applied in general both in the family and in school. The focus of the discussion that was examined in this study was Surah Luqman verse 12 to verse 19, where this research uses qualitative research approach with methods of library research (library research). Studied are the verses of the Qur'an, and the interpretation of the commentators on the verse and its relation with other verses. The method chosen in this study is the interpretation maudhu'i with data analysis using content analysis (content analysis), which is a method of analysis that is directed at the material or text. Through material approach allows educators can establish the personality of children and pupils towards knowledge based on the values of monotheism. (Kisah seorang yang bernama Lukman yang diceritakan langsung oleh Allah dalam Surah Luqman, dapat menjadi model dalam mendidik anak khususnya dalam pendidikan keluarga antara bapak dan anaknya. Metode dialektik dalam pengajaran ini mengandung materi-materi penting yang dapat diterapkan secara umum baik dalam keluarga maupun di sekolah. Fokus bahasan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah Surah Luqman ayat 12 sampai dengan ayat 19, dimana penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research). Yang diteliti adalah ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an, dan penafsiran para mufassir terhadap ayat tersebut dan kaitannya dengan ayat yang lain. Metode yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah tafsir maudhu‘i dengan analisis data menggunakan metode content analysis (analisis isi), yakni metode analisis yang diarahkan pada materi atau teks. Melalui pendekatan materi memungkinkan pendidik dapat membentuk kepribadian anak dan anak didik menuju pengetahuan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai tauhid.)

Melalui buku al-Qur’an dan Literasi: Sejarah Rancang-Bangun Ilmu-ilmu Keislaman ini, penulis mengulas proses lahirnya peradaban ilmu pengetahuan di dunia Islam
pasca al-Qur’an diwahyukan. Kebutuhan untuk mendokumentasikan wahyu (jam’ al-Qur’ân) dalam tulisan, minat yang tinggi untuk mengetahui kandungan al-Qur’an serta kepeloporan Nabi Muhammad dalam gerakan iqra’ (literasi) telah menjadi media dan momentum bagi dimulainya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan Islam. Selain itu, perintah membaca dan menulis (QS. 96:1-5) menyebabkan terjadinya ‘kompetisi’ dalam mendalami ilmu-ilmu pengetahuan di tengah umat Islam.

Nowadays, various environmental issues have been discussed which include its importance, destruction or the ways of preventing any environmental destruction. The current paper will explore these issues from both the conventional and the Islamic perspectives. Environmental distruction in the present time are becoming more common due to the uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources by human beings in order to generate profits. In view of the increasing of the technological advances in Malaysia presently, the above matter should not happen if people�s intellect is founded on faith. People are able to distinguish between positive and negative consequences of voraciously exploiting natural resources. However, the greed that engulfs some people, has obscured these people to think of the consequences in the future of their acts. From the Islamic perspective with the Quran as the ultimate reference, the environmental destruction could actually be prevented if individuals are aware of his or her trustworthiness or responsibility as His caliphate in the earth. The questions here, is there any particular verse in the Holy Quran that explains the environmental preservation' Is the teaching of the Holy Quran could provide solutions to the environmental crises in Malaysia' The current study provides explanations to the above questions based on the literature surveys and the content analysis method. The findings of the interpretation of the selected verses concerning the environmental preservation have identified that there are numerous verses in the Holy Qur'an which emphasize the concept of the preserving nature.

Al-Quran adalah kalamullah (firman Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) yang diturunkan kepada Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Salam. Ia memiliki karakteristik dan keistimewaan yang begitu banyak sekali, diantaranya adalah mudah dihafal dan diingat karena tata bahasanya yang begitu sempurna.

আল-কুরআন বিশ্বে সর্বাধিক পঠিত বই , আবার অর্থ না বুঝে পঠিত বইয়ের তালিকায়ও এটি এক নাম্বারে ! আলহামদুলিল্লাহ্, আল্লাহ্ রাহমানির রাহিম (পরম করুণাময়, অসীম দয়ালু), অর্থ না বুঝে পড়লেও এই বই পড়ার পুরস্কার থেকে আমাদের বঞ্চিত করেন না । কিন্তু, অর্থ বুঝে কুরআন পড়া আর না বুঝে পড়া কি এক হল? আল্লাহ্, কুরআন বোঝার গুরুত্ব আরোপ করে বলেন এটি একটি বরকতময় কিতাব, যা আমি আপনার প্রতি বরকত হিসেবে অবতীর্ণ করেছি, যাতে মানুষ এর আয়াতসমুহ লক্ষ্য করে এবং বুদ্ধিমানগণ যেন তা অনুধাবন করে । [ছোয়াদ ৩৮:২৯] তারা কি কুরআন সম্পর্কে গভীর চিন্তা করে না ? না তাদের অন্তর তালাবদ্ধ ? [মুহাম্মদ ৪৭:২৪] আল্লাহ্ কুরআন আরবি ভাষায় নাযিল করেছেন । যদিও বাংলা ভাষায় অনেক অনুবাদ পাওয়া যায় কিন্তু কোন অনুবাদকেও মূল কুরআনের সমতুল্য বলা যাবে না । কবি জসীম উদ্দীনের ‘নকশী কাঁথার মাঠ’ এর ইংরেজী অনুবাদ ‘The Field of Embroidered Quilt’ পড়ে কি কখনও মূল বাংলা ভাষার মাধুর্য অনুধাবন করা যাবে? অনুরূপ ভাবে কুরআনের ভাষার মাধুর্য অনুধাবন করতে হলে কুরআনের ভাষাতেই কুরআন বুঝা উচিত । আর বোঝার জন্যে আল্লাহ্তো কুরআনকে সহজ করে নাযিল করেছেন, আলহামদুলিল্লাহ্ । সূরা কামার এ এই কথাটি আল্লাহ্ ৪ বার বলেছেন আমি কুরআনকে সহজ করে দিয়েছি বোঝার জন্যে । অতএব, কোন চিন্তাশীল আছে কি ? [ক্বমার ৫৪:১৭, ২২, ৩২, ৪০] তাই চলুন কুরআনকে কুরআনের ভাষাতেই বুঝার চেষ্ঠা করি । সেটা শুরু হোক আজ থেকেই । চিন্তা করে দেখুনতো ইংরেজি ভাষা শিখার জন্য স্কুল জীবন থেকে শুরু করে আজ অবধি আমরা কত সময়, কত শ্রম দিয়েছি । আর যে ভাষা হবে আখিরাতের অনন্ত জীবনের ভাষা, যে ভাষায় আল্লাহ্ আমাদেরকে নবীর মাধ্যমে বার্তা পাঠিয়েছেন সেই কুরআনের ভাষার জন্য কতটুকু শ্রম ও সময় দিয়েছি ? কোন মুখ নিয়ে আমরা আল্লাহ্র সামনে দাঁড়াব ? এই বইয়ে আমরা সহজ ভাবে অর্থ বুঝে কুরআন পড়ার কৌশল জানব, ইংশা-আল্লাহ ।

Pada bab sebelumnya telah dijelaskan tentang definisi ushul fiqih dan istimdad dalam ushul fiqih. Yang mana pengertian ushul fiqih secara terminologi yaitu ilmu tentang kaidah-kaidah dan pembahasan-pembahasan yang dapat mengantarkan kepada hukum-hukum syara’ mengenai perbuatan manusia dari dalil-dalilnya yang rinci. Sedangkan istimdad itu sendiri adalah pengambilan dari suatu hukum yang dalam kaitannya dengan ilmu ushul fiqih.
Dalam makalah kelompok kami ini, akan membahas tentang adanya sumber dan dalil hukum-hukum Islam yakni pengertian sumber dan dalil, sumber dan dalil hukum Islam yang meliputi Alquran, As-Sunnah, dan Ra’yu (Ijtihad) yang terdiri dari ijma, qias, ‘urf, istishab, syar’u man qablana, dan mazab shahabi.

Islam adalah agama yang syumul. Ia telah menetapkan kepada umatnya apa yang dibolehkan dan apa yang diharamkan dalam kehidupan sesorang muslim. Khinzir adalah binatang yang diharamkan kepada umat Islam memakan atau mengunakannya ia merupakan dosa besar dan perbuatan  yang tidak beriman. Al-Quran sebagai perlembagaan yang mesti diyakini pada setiap insan dan menjadi  panduan umat Islam  telah menerangkan kepada manusia pengharaman khinzir dengan dalil yang jelas. Oleh itu, kajian ini dilakukan untuk  membincangkan beberapa perkara mengenai  latar belakang khinzir, pengharamannya, perbahasan ulama dan hikmah pengharaman khinzir agar masyarakat lebih faham dan peka dengan keadaan yang melanda masyarakat muslim kini. Banyak bukti telah ditemui tentang kemudharatan penggunaan khinzir dalam kehidupan.Ini menunjukkan hebatnya Al-Quran mendahului zaman

Abstrak: Di dalam al-Qur`an ditemukan banyak ayat yang memerintahkan kewajiban melaksanakan dakwah. Dari sejumlah ayat tersebut, perintah dakwah adakalanya menggunakan kata yang berbeda-beda, seperti tabligh, nashihat, tarbiyah, tabsyir, tanzhir dan kata-kata lain yang perlu diteliti dan diidentifikasi kriterianya secara seksama. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menemukan kriteria ayat-ayat al-Qur`an yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai ayat-ayat dakwah, dan bentuk kata-kata yang digunakan al-Qur’an yang semakna dengan makna dakwah. Tulisan ini tergolong pada penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif. Sumber data primernya kitab suci al-Qur`an, tepatnya ayat-ayat yang berkenaan dengan perintah dakwah, serta bahan-bahan tertulis lainnya terkait metode tafsir al-Qur’an, seperti metode tafsir maudhu’i. Teknik analisis datanya dilakukan melalui metode content analisis. Berdasarkan hasil kajian ditemukan, bahwa terdapat beragam bentuk kata teknis yang diperkenalkan al-Qur’an yang semakna dengan makna dakwah. Beragamnya kata yang semakna dengan makna dakwah dapat dipahami bahwa al-Qur`an memiliki vocabulary yang demikian kaya sehingga penggunaan katanya lebih beragam. Selain itu, di dalam implementasinya, dakwah dapat dilihat dari multi sudut pandang sehingga harus menggunakan kata-kata yang lebih sesuai dengan kondisi manusia yang dihadapi. Di antara beberapa kriteria atau karakteristik khusus yang membedakan ayat-ayat dakwah  dengan  kelompok  ayat  lainnya adalah: ayat-ayat dakwah memuat norma dasar yang bersifat global; mengandung unsur perintah (suruhan) yang jelas (sharih al-amr) dan larangan (sharih al-nahy); keterhubungan ayat-ayat dakwah dengan masalah akidah, akhlak, muamalah, termasuk wa’ad dan wa’id;  dan ayat-ayat dakwah di dalam al-Qur’an juga menggunakan bahasa yang luas, luwes, tegas dan akurat.

One of the most facile assumptions about religions, especially in the West, is that concepts of "God" would be more or less the same in the various famous scriptures. What would actual study and analysis of the scriptures, however, reveal about their portrayals of the deity related to such qualities as love?
