Se aborda las condiciones de producción y recepción que se establecen cuando el arte se utiliza en contextos de atención a la salud, reflexionando sobre su pertenencia al campo del arte y su dimensión poético- política en la construcción identitaria.

The paper will draw on a key case study, GROVE, the art and architecture strategy recently completed in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde’s multi-award winning New Stobhill Hospital.  GROVE was developed by poet and artist Thomas A Clark and Andy Law, architect, Reiach & Hall, Edinburgh.  In GROVE Clark and Law focused on the experience of 'waiting' in hospital.  Their aim was to make waiting a reflective experience and to counteract the anxiety associated with hospitals. 
Clark and Law argue that the New Stobhill Hospital is a single work of art, and this is demonstrated by the 'composing' of spaces within the unifying theme of 'A grove of birch in a forest of larch'.  The artworks within the architecture that make up GROVE all represent or relate to nature, including short poems installed on walls and windows by Clark, as well as visual artworks (paintings, installations, video) by collaborating artists.  For example, across the outpatient clinic waiting areas a poem, a series of videos and installations contribute elements within the architecture to create a sequence of distinctive spaces.

Background:
Photography and self-portraits have been used in healthcare, yet no study has documented the experiences of hospice patients' participation. Our hospice has recently started to offer patients the option to make self-portraits/portrait photographs.

Aims:
To explore the lived experiences of day hospice patients participating in the self-directed photographic portraiture experience.

Methods:
Audio-taped semi-structured interviews were conducted using a topic guide. Interviews were transcribed and analysed using narrative analysis. Seven respondents were interviewed: three patients, two hospice staff observers and two photographers. Fourteen interviews were conducted - each participant was interviewed before and after the photographic session.

Results:
The following themes were identified during analysis:
The participants constructed photographs to represent who they are rather than focussing on their illness.
Participants chose not to reinforce the more negative elements of illness progression but rather to accept them.
Life-limiting illness, ageing and treatments damage the patient's sense of self. This may be experienced as a form of grief or loss.

Conclusion/discussion:
Patients provided unique insights into the experiences of changes that come with life limiting illnesses, articulating losses that resulted. In all cases the patients felt a profound difference between the image they held of themselves and the photographs they created. Patients said they benefited from this methodology of reflective photographic self-portraiture. This study straddles both arts and healthcare. The results have helped shape this intervention for future patients.

In this paper the author examines the use of certain artistic operations that had been validated by contemporary artists in the context of teaching art to young people who suffers from different disorders around the construction of the self. The author develops this study by analyzing artistic bi-dimensional works that has been produced in a Studio functioning at a Day Hospital where art intersects with psychoanalysis, and it functions as part of a clinical attention device.

En este trabajo se explora la utilización de ciertas operaciones artísticas que han sido validadas en su uso por artistas contemporáneos, en el marco de la enseñanza de artes plásticas a personas jóvenes que sufren alteraciones en la construcción de su subjetividad. Esta exploración se realiza a partir del análisis de la obra plástica en dos dimensiones producida en Taller en funcionamiento en un Hospital de Día, en el cual el arte es atravesado por el psicoanálisis, y utilizado como parte de un dispositivo de atención clínica.

Arts and health are international fields of practice with stakeholders from various disciplines. It is known that the UK has an established practice of collaboration in the form of interdisciplinary partnerships in arts and health (Clift et al., 2009, White, 2009), whereas in Denmark initiatives exist ad-hoc and there is no such established field (Jensen and Wille, 2015). This thesis is a qualitative study investigating the interdisciplinary relationships between stakeholders engaged in arts and health practice in the UK and in Denmark. The identified stakeholders in the study are: health professionals, museum educators and mental health service users.
