Seventeenth-century travel accounts written by ordinary people are a rarity. In this article, we analyze the unusual travel report by Gregorio de Robles, a Castilian peasant (labrador) who travelled several European empires in Western Europe and America at the end of the seventeenth and the beginning of the eighteenth centuries. The approach we offer is that of a global microhistory. The aim of this article is mainly methodological: we try to delineate the methodological steps we had to undertake to trace Robles in the sources. Looking for an early modern peasant traveler is comparable to searching for a needle in a haystack, but we argue that this endeavor is worthwhile because Robles offers a unique perspective on how ordinary people traveled in early modern times and on imperial frontier zones. We show that his convivial ties and the places he mentions were key elements in the methodology.

Esta investigación es una aproximación a los estándares de calidad en el periodismo digital de Castilla-La Mancha. Su importancia radica en que esta comunidad autónoma es escenario de una acelerada migración desde los medios de comunicación tradicionales a los medios creados en internet. Considerando que los cibermedios ocupan ahora una posición privilegiada, es pertinente evaluar si mantienen las buenas prácticas exigibles al periodismo como actividad social de servicio público. Con este objetivo, se aplican unos parámetros ad hoc, diseñados a partir de la revisión bibliográfica sobre calidad en medios digitales. La metodología se ha aplicado a una muestra de 21 medios digitales que se someten al control de OJD y han recibido ingresos de la administración regional a través de publicidad institucional. El diagnóstico ha puesto de relieve prácticas que alertan sobre una devaluación en el ejercicio periodístico y, por ende, en la calidad de la información que transmiten estos medios.

The Late Roman mausoleum in Las Vegas is one of the most unique funerary buildings in Hispania during Late Antiquity. Its structural features and the discovery in situ of a figurative sarcophagus with the apostles make it a unicum. After four decades of silence, a value assessment project has been started and the field work carried out on site is offering new interpretations about its use and evolution. An evaluation of the knowledge existing about it is made and the new data obtained due to the last work developed is given.
