Source code retrieval is of immense importance in the software engineering field. The complex tasks of retrieving and extracting information from source code documents is vital in the development cycle of the large software systems. The two main subtasks which result from these activities are code duplication prevention and plagiarism detection. In this paper, we propose a Mohamed Amine Ouddan, and Hassane Essafi source code retrieval system based on two-level fingerprint representation, respectively the structural and the semantic information within a source code. A sequence alignment technique is applied on these fingerprints in order to quantify the similarity between source code portions. In wireless sensor networks, sensor nodes eventually die due to battery depletion. Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) in which new nodes are periodically redeployed with certain intervals, called generations, to replace the dead nodes are called multi-phase wireless sensor networks. In the literature, there are several key predistribution schemes proposed for secure operation of WSNs. However, these schemes are designed for single phase networks which are not resilient against continuous node capture attacks; even under temporary attacks on the network, the harm caused by the attacker does not heal in time. However, the periodic deployments in multi-phase sensor networks could be utilized to improve the resiliency of the WSNs by deploying nodes with fresh keys. In the literature, there is limited work done in this area. In this paper, we propose a key predistribution scheme for multi-phase wireless sensor networks which is highly resilient under node capture attacks. In our scheme, called RGM (random generation material) key predistribution scheme, each generation of deployment has its own random keying material and pairwise keys are established between node pairs of particular generations. These keys are specific to these generations. Therefore, a captured node cannot be abused to obtain keys of other generations. We compare the performance of our RGM scheme with a well-known multi-phase key predistribution scheme and showed that RGM achieves up to three-fold more resiliency. Even under heavy attacks, our scheme's resiliency performance is 50% better in steady state.

One of the most important topics in information security today is user authentication. There is a good security when using the text-based strong password schemes but often memorizing the password is so difficult and users writing them down on a piece of paper or saving inside the computer. There is an alternative solution to the text-based authentication which is the GUA (Graphical User Authentication) or simply Graphical Password based on the fact that humans tend to remember images better. This type of interface provides an easy to create and remember passwords for the users. However, one big issue that is plaguing GUA is shoulder surfing attack that can capture the users mouse clicks and image gallery attack that can change the images of the gallery with physical attack. In this paper, we will propose a new algorithm that using watermarking technique as the solution to solving image gallery attacks and using the random character set generation for each image for resistance to shoulder surfing attack to provide better system security. All the information images in registration phase will be process by copy right protection of watermarking where the login page will check this information for security purposes. Developing a secure Web application is very difficult task. Therefore developers need a guideline to help them to develop a secure Web application. Guideline can be used as a checklist for developer to achieve minimum standard of secure Web application. This study evaluates how good is OWASP guideline in helping developer to build secure Web application. The developed system is then tested using code auditing and penetration testing to identify the achievement of the system security for the application. After applying the testing techniques from Open Source Security Testing Methodology (OSSTMM) on the Top Ten Critical vulnerabilities as defined by OWASP, a standard measure score are calculated. However, specification of non-functional properties is not addressed well in these ADLs, although it is crucial for building quality software architectures. We propose new extensions of WRIGHT ADL with capabilities to specify non-functional properties at the architectural level. They are based on ontological definitions of non-functional properties. To demonstrate their usefulness, we applied them to an e-health example.
