Hedonic scale testing is a well-accepted methodology for assessing consumer perceptions but is compromised by variation in voluntary responses between cultures. Check-all-that-apply (CATA) methods using emotion terms or emojis and facial expression recognition (FER) are emerging as more powerful tools for consumer sensory testing as they may offer improved assessment of voluntary and involuntary responses, respectively. Therefore, this experiment compared traditional hedonic scale responses for overall liking to (1) CATA emotions, (2) CATA emojis and (3) FER. The experiment measured voluntary and involuntary responses from 62 participants of Asian (53%) versus Western (47%) origin, who consumed six divergent yogurt formulations (Greek, drinkable, soy, coconut, berry, cookies). Se desarrollo un modelo de hemodilucion normovolemica extrema (HNE) en porcinos conscientes con 4 niveles de intercambio de sangre hasta un hematocrito <6%. En cada nivel se extrajo 40% de la volemia y se reemplazo con igual volumen con almidon hidroxietilico. Se encontro hipoxia tisular con hemoglobina (Hb) <3g/dl a las 2 horas despues, luego del ultimo intercambio. Sobrevivieron 4 de 10 porcinos. Solo la Hb presento diferencia estadisticamente significativa luego de la instrumentacion con Hb <10.4 g/dl en los porcinos no sobrevivientes. Durante la HNE se encontro aumento de frecuencia cardiaca y gasto cardiaco, presion arterial divergente, aporte de oxigeno y resistencia vascular sistemica disminuida.

This study focused on the role of appropriate equivalence selection of colors in the field of Advanced Pranic Healing (APH), based on Mona Baker's equivalence, both at word level and above word level. The participants included 40 bachelor's students studying in the field of English translation. Participants received the Colors' Translation Test (CTT) included in the book " Advanced Pranic Healing " written by Choa Kuk Sui. The translated colors from English into Persian were then used in the treatment process of ten patients. Inaccurate translation of colors had negative consequences in patients. The findings also showed that equivalence above word level could be more problematic than the word level. The destructive consequences of inaccurate translation of colors in the field of APH, encourages translators to gain background knowledge of the field they are trying to translate. This study also supported therapy implications of color translation and teachers, translators and pranic healers may benefit from the findings of the study.
