The hotel industry is diverse for individuals to work in the different components and field of interest employed in the accommodation industry. The trend of hospitality and tourism is global. It tackled the current trends and issues of hotel industries with regard to lifestyles, brand, food supply chain, technology and rules and regulations so with challenges and problems. It ascertained the significant difference of the based on the assessments of the three groups of respondents. The study focused on the profile of the hotel relative to forms of business organization, classification, years in business and number of employees. The study is quantitative in nature utilizing descriptive method and purposive sampling to its 210 respondents such as tourists, hotel owners and employees in CALABARZON region using validated questionnaire dealt with Cronbach's Alpha. It observed the ethical consideration and statistical treatment of data using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, ranking and F-Test. Results revealed that the profile of hotels varies where its current trends were sharply observed as growing and competitive, and there is a great extent of existence of challenges and problems in the hotel industry. There is a significant difference in the current trends and challenges when group according to profile. The proposed input to tourism development planning may be helpful to the industry.

Crowdsourcing is now used in various policy-making initiatives; however, this use has usually focused on open collaboration platforms and specific stages of the policy process, such as agenda-setting and policy evaluations. Other forms of crowdsourcing have been neglected in policy-making, with a few exceptions. This article examines crowdsourcing as a tool for policy-making, and explores the nuances of the technology and its use and implications for different stages of the policy process. The article addresses questions surrounding the role of crowdsourcing and whether it can be considered as a policy tool or as a technological enabler and investigates the current trends and future directions of crowdsourcing.

Software project management is the utilization of resources in efficient manner to complete a project within time and budget. It is like a corner stone in every successful project. Sound software project management techniques are very important for the development of software projects both for organizations that develop outsourced projects and in-house projects. The data was collected through interviews and questionnaire. Most of the respondents were project managers having postgraduate degrees. From analysis it is concluded that project management practices play important role in the successful completion of projects. Sixteen percent of projects had no project plan. Many standard software practices are not being applied constantly in the projects. The risk assessment and mitigation are not carried out until the risk occurs. The role of software project management tools and techniques and their practices are also analyzed in detail in this paper. Many believed that decision making is the most important ability of project managers. In this paper we have described different factors that cause the success or failure of projects. Our results present general guidance for project managers to make sure that their projects be successful. This study shows the importance of project management tools and techniques in the industry. It also shows how project management is important for a successful and quality software product. If a project is managed properly, we get a quality product within allocated time and budget.

In this paper, we review and discuss a number of age-related changes in cognitive capabilities and their implications on driving performance and safety. Previous research has shown that older drivers can exhibit performance degradation and a reduction in safety margin because of the relative decline in sensory/perceptual, cognitive abilities, as well as the slowing in motor response. We begin by reviewing and evaluating extant theories of cognitive change and the mechanisms that underlie such variation. Then we examine how these changes are manifested and influenced by advancing age. Third, we examine the impact of these age-related cognitive changes on driver performance.
