This quantitative survey described the occurring scenario among higher educational institutions having amalgamation as one of the strategies in rationalizing the Philippine higher education. The study dealt with the perceptions, issues, and perceived challenges of 90 administrators and 260 instructors/professors concerning amalgamation in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) among the selected state universities and colleges in Region IV-A (CALABARZON) during the Academic Year 2017-2018. A researcher-constructed questionnaire served to gather the data. Weighted mean and t-test for independent means were employed to determine the differences on the perceptions of the respondents at 0.05 level of significance. Results indicated that the administrator-respondents were more aware of the idea of amalgamation than the instructor/professor-respondents. The respondents agreed in most of the items about amalgamation of HEI along access and equity, efficiency and effectiveness, relevance and responsiveness, utilization of resources, and quality and excellence. As to the issues on amalgamation, the administrators comparably perceived serious issues on amalgamation practices that needed urgent action such as delivery of projected student number, plans to meet financial and strategic goals, blueprint for the merged entity, governance and organization structure during the pre-merger phase, governance and organization structure during the transitional phase, quality assurance, and employees' rights. A significant difference was found between the perception of the administrator-and instructor/professor-respondents towards the issues on amalgamation practices in terms of access and equity, efficiency and effectiveness, utilization of resources, quality and excellence, and blueprint of the merged entity.

This research study based on final year undergraduate students, those students faced issues and challenges on final year project. This research focus on issues and challenges in that are faced by undergraduates when they select project, writing proposal. The study aim make group of undergraduates students of final year in the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University of Shaheed Benazir Abad. Around 40 plus subjects are studied in undergraduate and those were from department of Information Technology who conducted their research and make proposal in English Language as third language. The research tools of this study are survey questions and taking reviews or opinion from final year project group students. At the result from study showed that around 70% of the students faced issue in selection project in dif erent domain. 50% of students take suggestions of senior student to help them in selection process. This study explore variety of issues and challenges just like: Selection of project, lack of good knowledge about project, lack of ability to find related references, lack of research interest, lack understanding of the subject matter, lack of time. At the suggest and recommendation also provided.

The Success story of the post – independent India turns out bleak when the question of quality is raised. Higher Education has been finding it difficult to meet the issues of unplanned expansion, educated unemployment, uneven growth, commercialization of education, financial crises, teacher burn out and the digital divide of quantity Vs quality, equity Vs excellence, creativity Vs conformity are posing continuous threats to higher education. At this Juncture, the new education must be teach every individual how to classify and reclassify information, how to look at problems from new direction and finally how to teach himself/herself. Teachers are the best trained manpower for a nation. Because, they produce Technologists, Scientists, Doctors, Engineers, Policy makers, Businessmen and Teachers. Therefore through quality assured training programs it has become necessary to produce, competent, professionals to meet the ever – growing demands of liberalization and globalization. Hence, the emerging Indians society needs to make the system of education must innovative and futuristic in order to the changing demands of the modern Indian Society. The existing education should be improved according to the needs of the time. It has to fulfill the demands of one’s own country and the changing scenario of the world. It must be competitive and co – operative. Looking into these factors the education from primary to higher and even technical education needs to be improved from time to time, to transform the capacity of the people’s vision for society. Every system of education aims at moulding the individuals to play their roles in the society most effectively.

Now a days, manufacturing sector recruits & retains multi-generational Workforce which consists of employees from five dif erent generations. It is always a great challenge for organizations to lead a Multi-Generational Workforce (Zero-G – 5G) to achieve their goals & objectives in a competitive era. The growth and development of manufacturing sector depends on the effective management of multi-generational workforce. Manufacturing sector consists of Multi-generational workforce who are dif erent in culture, thought, attitude & perception. It is always a great challenge for the organizations to make goal congruence & bring collaboration among generations. As each generation is unique according to its generational cohort, they act dif erently on the basis of their ideology & priority. Such organizations face problems while integrating the diversified ideology as senior employees give priority to job security & satisfaction whereas youngsters are satisfied with handsome salary & incentives for which they are ready to change their organizations. Similarly reward & motivational factors make them unique on the basis of their cohort. For example, Traditionalist, the silent generation is motivated by intrinsic reward whereas Baby boomers opt for both challenging task as well as top positions. Similarly, Gen-X prefers balanced work -life whereas Gen-Y, the tech savvy generation is motivated by work from home & knowledge sharing along with dignity. Finally Gen-Z the 5G who are more advanced in technology are motivated by heavy perks & instant rewards. It is an attempt to study & focus on basic factors influencing multi-generational workforce in manufacturing sector - what challenges manufacturing sector is facing while dealing with multi-generational workforce & strategies with the help of which the workforce will attain its goals & gain competitive advantage.

The issue of access to university education due to low capacity of the universities to accommodate the
qualified students into the university system has become a great concern for parents and the governments.
The introduction of mobile learning will be a welcome development to reduce poor student access to the
university. However, there are issues and challenges that are likely to create a barrier toward a successful
implementation of mobile learning in universities in Nigeria. This paper therefore explains the concept of
mobile teaching and learning, features and benefits of mobile learning in the university system as well as
the issues and challenges toward a successful implementation of mobile teaching and learning in
universities in Nigeria. Some recommendations were suggested on how such issues and challenges can
be addressed which include the training of both the students and the academic staffs on the benefits of
some of the networking like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., to enhance teaching and learning in higher
education.

Although there are so many agents of curriculum implementation  ranging from government activities of provision  of  equipment  and  learning  materials,  human  and  material  resources,  physical  facilities  to payment  of  salaries  of  all  the  personnel  both  teaching  and  non-teaching  concerned  with  the implementation  of curriculum. Classroom is the center of curriculum implementation and the teacher is at  the  middle  of  contents  leading  to  the  achievement  of  curriculum  objectives  and  the  learner.
Curriculum  implementation  is  the  process  of  interpreting  contents  of  the  curriculum  by  the  teacher. Therefore, curriculum  implementation cannot be complete without the teacher. Women are significant contributors to the growing economy. Almost 50 percent of our population comprises of women. The growth rate for female literacy in the last decade has been 3 per cent higher than the growth rate for male literacy resulting in a decline in the absolute numbers of illiterate women—from 200.7 million in 1991 to 190 million in 2001. Gender differential in education, however, continues to be high at 21.7 per cent. This can be attributed to a number of factors—lack of access to schools, lack of the facilities of toilets and drinking water, etc. in the schools. Also, with increasing feminization of agriculture, the pressure of looking after younger siblings, collecting cooking fuel, water and maintaining the household, all fall upon the girl child, putting a stop to her education and development. Economic independence or economic selfreliance of women promotes women empowerment but poverty, poor health, discrimination against women and gender inequality, etc. limit the opportunities for women, which ultimately creates barriers for women empowerment. The empowerment of women is essential in view of the continuing discrimination against them at all fronts. For the first time in the history of Indian planning, an attempt has been made to move beyond empowerment and recognize women as agents of sustained socio-economic growth and change many ministries and departments have designed and launched a number of programmes and schemes to empower women. This article is an attempt to analyze the current issues and problems of women, as well as ways and means to achieve the empowerment of women.

At the end of this report a person may be able to assess the impact of ICT evolution in Tanzania, to measure whether the society is aware that their conducts using ICT facilities hamper copyright protection, to assess if the society understands the concept of copyrights and copyright infringement, to assess the extent of copyright infringement facilitated by ICT evolution, and lastly to measure whether the legal regime present in Tanzania suffices to deal with copyright scenarios observed in the exercise.

Layers of 6 and 16 Cd-Te-Zn-Te periods were grown by atomic layer epitaxy (ALE) within ZnTe thin films. Different samples were grown at substrate temperatures of 260 and 290°C. Information about the kinetics of growth and surface reconstruction during the ALE growth of CdTe and ZnTe films, and Cd-Te-Zn-Te periods was obtained by means of reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED) experiments and through the analysis of the temporal behavior of the intensities of several features of the RHEED patterns. The photoluminescence of the sample grown at 260°C presents two narrow and intense peaks corresponding to emission from quantum wells (QWs). However, the spectrum of the samples grown at 290°C does not show any feature associated with QWs, the spectrum resembling that of a ZnTe film. Cd replacement by Zn atoms explains the absence of the CdZnTe QWs at 290°C and a lower Cd content than expected at 260°C. The replacement of Cd atoms by Zn atoms in the CdTe surface was clearly demonstrated by Auger experiments.

Being developed countries both Pakistan and India are striving for the economic development. Pakistan and India share a 1610 km long border. They share same language, dress and culture and also six watercourses, namely the Indus, Jhelum, Chenab, Ravi, Sutlej and Beas, along with their numerous tributaries. Pakistan, like other countries of the region depends heavily on agriculture, with the greater part of the population relying on it for livelihood. As a result, water is not only vital for everyday needs, but a critical source for economic development. Water is a resource on which there is dependency of economy and no substitute. Pakistan and India are close neighbors and lied in South East of Asia. Apart from sharing border and history both the countries have various same customs and traditions.Both countries gained independence in 1947 from British Government, from the day of independence Pakistan has been facing lots of internal and external challenges. Apart from other conflicts, water issues also exist between Pakistan and India. After the nine years negotiation with the help of World Bank, they solved this issue but after some time it started again. Some kind of historical issues including water issues has been discussed in this paper. To judge the public opinion of the both countries, an interview survey was conducted by some international expert and from the people who are directly involved in these kind of profession of Indo-Pak relation. Analyses of interview with some statistic information and on the behalf of history some conclusions and suggestions were including at the end of this study.
