Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh gaya kepemimimpinan ethical leadership terhadap kreativitas pegawai dengan menggunakan variabel leader member exchange, motivasi intrinsik dan pemberdayaan psikologis sebagai variabel mediasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada 296 pegawai di Kementerian Desa, Pembangunan Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi Republik Indonesia. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode structural equational modeling (SEM). Variabel motivasi intrinsik dan pemberdayaan psikologis memediasi secara penuh hubungan gaya kepemimpinan ethical leadership terhadap kreativitas pegawai. Sedangkan variabel leader member exchange tidak memediasi hubungan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran motivasi intrinsik dan pemberdayaan psikilogis sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kreativitas pegawai dalam bekerja.

The test case generation problem can be stated as an optimization problem whereby the closeness of test cases to violating the postcondition of a formal specification is maximized, subject to satisfying its precondition. This is usually implemented by constructing an objective function which provides a real-valued estimate of how distant all of the constraints are from being violated, and then trying to minimize it. A problem with this approach is that such objective functions may contain plateaux, which make their minimization hard. We propose a similar approach, grounded on fuzzy logic, which uses, instead of a "distance from violation" objective function, a fuzzy degree of proximity to postcondition violation and produces plateaux-free objective functions by construction. The approach is illustrated with the help of a case study on the functional (black-box) testing of computer programs.

Previous studies in lower termites revealed unexpected synergies between nicotinoid insecticides and fungal entomopathogens. The present study investigated molecular mechanisms of nicotinoid-pathogen synergy in the lower termite Reticulitermes flavipes, using the nicotinoid, imidacloprid, in combination with fungal and bacterial entomopathogens. Particular focus was placed on metatranscriptome composition and microbial dynamics in the symbiont-rich termite gut, which houses diverse mixes of protists and bacteria. cDNA microarrays containing a mix of host and protist symbiont oligonucleotides were used to simultaneously assess termite and protist gene expression. Five treatments were compared that included single challenges with sublethal doses of fungi (Metharizium anisopliae), bacteria (Serratia marcescens) or imidacloprid, and dual challenges with fungi + imidacloprid or bacteria + imidacloprid.
