Tesla’s work in the field of wireless transmission of energy is the result his studies of high voltage and high frequency electrical phenomena and it began in 1888 with the
first observations regarding the effect of the frequency on the work of alternating cur-rent motor. The same year Heinrich Hertz published an experimental proof of Maxwell’s Electromagnetic Theory, which aroused interest and excitement in the scientific community, for which Tesla observed that “it had scarcely ever been experienced before”. Besides that, in 1888 Oliver Lodge presented the results of his studies of propagation of waves along conducting wires and the effects of self-induction in an oscillation circuit. Looking back at the beginning of his work in the field of high frequencies, Tesla emphasized that his early observations and theoretical possibilities in studies of high-frequency current, as well as the work of Hertz and Lodge, all had their influence on him to begin the systematic research of high-frequency phenomena in 1889. The work of Hertz and Lodge were an incentive not only for Tesla, but also for other scientists who studied electromagnetic phenomena, which was also confirmed by scientist Oliver Heaviside who stated that “the experimental work of Hertz and Lodge on the electrical vibrations and electromagnetic waves were the means of stirring up an amount of interest in [electromagnetic] theory that was quite wonderful to witness”.
Up until 1895 Tesla simultaneously worked on polyphase alternating current system for transmission of electric energy and a new system for wireless transmission of energy. Until 1891 he submitted 40 patents called Tesla polyphase system patents. In the period 1889–1890, after he signed a contract with George Westinghouse regarding the commercial use of 7 polyphase system patents. Tesla worked with engineering team from Westinghouse’s company on resolving construction issues regarding alternating current motor. Until 1892 he was indirectly involved in the “war of currents” whose main protagonists were George Westinghouse and Thomas Edison. At the same time certain event promoted the polyphase system – application of Tesla’s system in transmission of electric energy in 1891 in Telluride, USA and in Germany, from Lauffen to Frankfurt, as well as the World Fair in Chicago in 1893.
Early results in the application of high voltage and high frequency currents introduced Tesla to new fields such as lighting, wireless transmission of energy and medicine, as well as different industry branches such as materials technology, electrical insulation, genera-tion of ozone, etc. We encounter the announcement of possibility of wireless transmission of energy in a lecture he gave in 1891. As he later explained, the development of system of wireless transmission of energy didn’t depend on whether it would be applied in wireless telephony or for any other purpose,  i.e. whether it will be used for wireless transmission of signal or power. The confirmation of this are the basic wireless transmission patents he submitted in 1897, which he intended for wireless transmission of energy as a whole, with the possibility to be used for wireless transmission of signal as well. In 1916 these
patents became evidence in a suit by G. Marconi’s company against the US Government for using his wireless telegraphy patents. The result of the suit and the significance of the scientific names linked to him brought a larger attention to Tesla’s work in the field of wireless transmission of signal.In order to achieve wireless transmission, he needed to: 1. develop a method and apparatus for generating electrical oscillations whose charac-teristics made transmission possible – high frequency and high voltage oscillations; 2. develop a method and a device for transforming the oscillations into a form of energy that can be transmitted over distances; 3. develop a method for isolating energy, i.e. prevent interference by which he would achieve selectivity of reception of only some oscillation compared to all the existing oscillations; 4. develop a method for reception and a device that will receive energy at a distant location; 5. determine the laws of propagation of waves through a natural medium – atmosphere and ground.
Tesla discovered new phenomena related to the nature of electromagnetic oscillations and electromagnetic properties of materials, as well as new phenomena related to the operation of electrical devices. This pointed him in the direction of not only defining new methods and techniques, but also the construction of entirely new devices, unknown in previous practice. He studied how waves travel though air, upper layers of atmosphere and ground, and all together he called this – transmission through the natural medium.
In order to perfect his method and devices for wireless transmission, he worked in the lab-oratory in Colorado Springs from 1899 to 1900. Encouraged by the results of his research, right after his return to New York in 1900, he made preparations to build a receiver on Long Island, near New York. In order to explain the goal of his work he published a brochure titled World System, in which he presented the possibilities of this system. He worked on Long Island from 1901 to 1907, when he stopped the works. At the start of the 20th century Tesla’s World System was taken as his scientific vision, and at the end of the same century it was brought to life thanks to the development of modern telecommunications.

Wireless charging is a technique of transmitting power through an air gap to an electrical device for the purpose of energy replenishment. Recently, the wireless charging technology has been significantly advanced in terms of efficiency and functionality. This article first presents an overview and fundamentals of wireless charging. We then provide the review of standards, i.e., Qi and Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP), and highlight on their communication protocols. Next, we propose a novel concept of wireless charger networking which allows chargers to be connected to facilitate information collection and control. We demonstrate the application of the wireless charger network in user-charger assignment, which clearly shows the benefit in terms of reduced costs for users to
identify the best chargers to replenish energy for their mobile devices.

After developing novel generators capable of producing higher frequency alternating currents, he turned his attention to generating alternating currents by discharging condenser through a coil coupled to another coil – secondary of " Tesla transformer ". In the three famous lectures between 1891 and 1893 he presented many new characteristics and possible uses of high frequency currents: for illumination, in medicine, industry and for wireless energy transmission. For wireless energy transmission, in 1891-1892 he developed connection of generator to antenna-ground through tuned Tesla transformer. In 1893 he disclosed the principle of wireless energy transmission with already explained radio transmitter and receiver tuned to operating frequency of the transmitter. In 1897 Tesla submitted two USA patents on apparatus and system of electrical energy transmission, issued in 1900. These patents were used in the Supreme Court case brought by the Marconi Wireless Telegraph Company of America against the United States of America, alleging that they have used wireless devices that infringed on USA Marconi patent of June 28, 1904. After 25 years, the United States Supreme Court on June 21, 1943 invalidated the fundamental American radio patent of Marconi, as containing nothing which was not already contained in patents granted to Lodge, Tesla and Stone. However, in spite of this and many others who are recognizing Tesla as one of the radio pioneers, inventor of the basic radio principle of four tuned circuits, Tesla's name is still waiting the fool recognition of his role in the development of radio.

In 2011, a satellite accidently detected that antimatter was created by thunderstorms. This antimatter consisted of positrons – the antiparticles of electrons. This fact, along with prior investigations and experimentation with High Voltage and Nuclear Fusion apparatus, led to an interesting conclusion, here deduced. That a simple electric antimatter rocket is viable within current technology and a simple model rocket pulse engine could even be made from components available to a hobbyist. I base this investigation on all available data that I had access to, together with my knowledge and particular experience gained from many years of experimentation in addition the principle that: — Electrical storms are a natural particle accelerator and that NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope had detected beams of antimatter produced above thunderstorms on Earth, therefore by the laws which creates these natural physical systems, could be duplicated with equipment that we already have great experience with. The first question that has to be asked is, 'is the Antimatter generated in Lightning a byproduct of total power, potential difference, amperage or some other factor?' To answer this question, I begin by listing all known data and facts about lightning and natural positron creation by lightning, as a list of referenced facts shown below.

Due to crucial requirements of electrical power and noticeably increasing amount of the electronic devices day after day, this paper discusses the application of charging portable devices (e.g. cell phones, microbots and laptops) using wireless power transfer concept. The paper navigates through different techniques that are used to transfer power wirelessly and comes up with the suitable one for this application. In order to be more applicable and handy for users and to improve the transmitted power and the distance of transmission, some modifications are suggested on the chosen technique. The paper took into consideration the mobility of the devices to be charged. The other contribution of this paper is adding a control-ability for delivering power to specific devices rather that others using authentication technique.

Humanity captured the best form of power at the beginning of the 20th century when two great industrialists discovered a new and magical form of electrical power that sparked a long and heated  battle for its control and ownership. The new invention held a multi-billion future that started a rivalry between George Westinghouse a renowned engineer and Thomas Edison a brilliant inventor. The two engaged in a public relations war concerning the economic dominance of the new invention. The battle which is often described as the “War of currents” revolved around fear. The war was so unbelievingly thrilling that it was featured in the movie “The prestige”. As we commemorate Tesla’s birthday on July 10th, let us relive the experiences of the inventor as he set out on the journey to provide the world with an affordable way of getting electric power.

Никола Тесла всемирно известен как выдающийся сербский ученый и изобретатель, который оказал большое влияние на развитие современных систем электроснабжения переменного тока (AC). Однако менее известно, что его патенты в области связи представляют основу современных систем информационно-коммуникационных технологий. В этой статье  представлены наиболее важные патенты и результаты Тесла в области мобильной и беспроводной связи и интернет-услуг: патенты, касающиеся линий передачи, радиотехнологий, логических элементов и цифровой модуляции. Подробно проанализированы патенты, относящиеся к широкополосному спектру со скачкообразной перестройкой частоты (FHSS), ортогональному мультиплексированию с частотным разделением (OFDM) и беспроводной криптографии. Кроме того, представлены прогнозы Тесла на развитие коммуникаций,  которое стало возможным реализовать только почти через сто лет.

Nikola Tesla has been known as a Serbian scientist and inventor who has made a great impact by designing modern alternating current (AC) electricity supply systems. However, it is less known that his patents in the field of communications represent a basis of present-day ICT systems. In this paper, we present Tesla’s most important patents and results regarding mobile and wireless communications and Internet services: patents concerning transmission lines, radio technologies, logic gates and digital modulations. We analyze the patents related to frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS), orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), and wireless cryptography in details. In addition, we present Tesla's vision of communication services that have become possible to implement almost a hundred years later.
