Oghuz Turks

Azerbaycan Türkçesi veya Azerice,Türkçenin Çağdaş lehçelerinden biri olup, Azerbaycan’ın resmî dili konumundadır. Tarihi seyir içerisinde de Türkiye Türkçesine en çok benzeyen Türk lehçelerinden birisidir. Bunun nedenlerinden birisi Azerbaycan Türkçesinin de Türkiye Türkçesi gibi Batı Türkçesine ve Oğuz grubuna dahil olmasıdır. Aynı zamanda yazı dili de olan Azerbaycan Türkçesi, yazı dili geleneğine sahip olma bakımından Türkiye Türkçesiyle hemen hemen paraleldir. Türkmen Türkçesi ve Gagavuz Türkçesinin nispeten daha geç yazı dili olmasına rağmen Azerbaycan Türkçesi köklu bir yazı dili geleneğine sahiptir. Eski Anadolu Türkçesi döneminde Azerbaycan Türkçesinin ayrı bir yazı dili halinde teşekkül etmediği fakat Azerbaycan ağzının kısmî özelliklerinin çeşitli eserlerde yer aldığı müşahede edilmektedir. Dolayısıyla Azerbaycan Türkçesi ile Türkiye Türkçesi, tarihi kökleri ve uzun tarihi gelişim dönemleri bakımından ortaklık göstermektedir. (Ozkan 2007: 94)
Bu ortaklık, bugün iki devlet ve  milletin birbirini rahatça anlamasını sağlayan nedenlerden biridir. Bu makalede Azerbaycan Türkçesinin fonetik özelliklerine değineceğiz ve bu fonetik özelliklerine , Azerbaycan Türkçesi metinlerinden örnekler sunacağız.

Azerbaijan Turkish is the official language of Azerbaijan and is one of the modern Turkic dialects. Azerbaijan Turkish,is one of the Oghuz Turkish dialects.This article will be described phonological characteristics of Azerbaijani Turkic. It was taken from the texts written in Azerbaijani Turkish.

Özet
Ortaçağ boyunca birçok şehir sahip olduğu verimli toprakları, ticaret yolları üzerinde kurulması, savunmasının kolay olması, ilmî ve iktisadî açıdan sahip olduğu değerler sebebiyle sürekli göz önünde olmuştur. Bununla birlikte her güzellik beraberinde bir takım zorluğu da getirmektedir. Hâkimiyet sahalarını genişletmeyi düşünen bütün hanedanlıkların gözleri bu şehirlerin üzerinde olmuştur. Bunun bir sonucu olarak ortaçağın önemli şehirleri birçok kez farklı hanedanların hâkimiyetine girmiştir. Bu durum hem şehir hem de sakinleri için olumlu sonuçlarla birlikte istenmeyen durumları da beraberinde getirmiştir. Şehirler bir taraftan imar edilip kalkındırılırken bir taraftan da siyasal istikrarsızlıkların yaşandığı dönemlerde harap edilmekteydiler. Bu şehirlerde yaşamlarını sürdürenler de bir taraftan zenginliği, refahı son derece derinden yaşarlarken bahsedilen zor dönemlerde de kıtlığı, vahşeti ve de yokluğu en acı şekilde hissediyorlardı.
Hayatın içerisinde var olan birçok zıtlığı bir arada yaşanan bu şehirlerden birisi de Merv’dir. Biz de bu çalışmamızda Büyük Selçuklu Döneminde Merv’de yaşanan olayların arkasında yatan siyasî, dinî/mezhebî ve iktisadî gerekçeleri ana kaynaklar ışığında incelemeye çalışacağız.

The Adventure of a City: The Political History of Marw in the Great Seljuk Period
Abstract
Throughout the Middle Ages, many cities have been always considering because of their fertile lands, establishing on the trade routes, easy to defend, scientific and economic values. However, every glory brings with it a certain difficulty. The eyes of all the dynasties who were considering extending the fields of dominion were above these cities. As a result of this, important cities of the Middle Ages have often been dominated by different dynasties. This has brought positive results not only the city’s itself but also its inhabitants undesirable situations. On the one side, while the cities were being rebuilt and developed, on the other hand they were being destroyed during the political instability periods. People who lives in these cities on one side was feeling the rich in wealth and welfare very deeply, on the other side, during the difficult times which mentioned,  famine, the brutality and the poverty.
Marw was the one of those cities which many opposites that existed in life that lived together in. In this study, will be discussed political, religious/sectarian and economic reasons behind the incidents in Marw during the Seljuk period, in the light of main sources.

This report concerns research on the architectural history of Salar households conducted between 2004 and 2006. The Salars are an Oghuz-Turkic people who in the 13th century migrated with Gengis Khan's troops from the Samarkand area to northern Tibet. The present project compared house construction styles and the use of living space in two Salar communities: a larger community in northern Tibet (today Qinghai province) and a smaller community in Yil/Ghulja (today the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region).

Oghuz People are the ancestors of the Turks living in region of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran, Iraq and Turkmenistan. They are called as Guz in Islamic sources. According to the accepted view on the origin of the word Oghuz which was first seen in the Orkhon Inscriptions, this word means “arrows” and consist of ok “arrow” and -z the plural suffix in Old Turkish.
Oghuz Khan is a semi-mythological khan who is considered the founder of all Turkic peoples. Even today, subbranches of Oghuz are classified in order of the legendary six sons and twenty grandsons of Oghuz Khan.
The narrative is often entitled Oghuznama. It was first recorded in the 13th century. In 15th century, Yazıcızâde Ali benefited from the Persian text of Jâmi –al-Tevarikh of Rashid-ad-Din Fazlullâh who took advantage of Oghuznama written in Uighur script.  It is clear that Yazıcızade Ali is aware of Oghuznama written in Uighur but he does not use this text directly. There are fundamental differences between the Uighur text written before Islam and the Ottoman Turkish text based on the Persian text written after Islam and its translation. It is clear that the differences between Oguznama of Yazıcızâde Ali and Uyghur text are based on religious and cultural reasons. In the text of Yazıcızade Ali, Oghuz Khan wants to take the whole world under his rule and he wants to take Islam to the countries he conquered. Therefore, conquests are seen as jihad as well as political dimension.
