At the circumpunean area had been commom Yavi pottery and its presence had consolidated along the time in the regional archaeology. The origins of Yavi style are in the contact point between Meridional Altiplano, the Atacamenian Puna and Northwestern Argentina, close 3.500 m.asl and communicating with the Andean east. In the Atacama Desert there are accord to attribute this situation to the Inka expansion, for this reason we present our study about an emblematic collection related with Yavi style, belong to the domestic and mortuary site named Doncellas from Cochinoca (Jujuy, Argentina). Therefore, we analyze the pottery and related textiles and make appreciations about the Yavi style and its ethnic and politics consecuences for the circumpunean late prehistory.
