Hablar de certificación y acreditación, para los neófitos en temas de calidad, lo pueden interpretar erróneamente como lo mismo, sin embargo, tienen diferenciadores bien marcados como los siguientes:

La certificación es el proceso mediante el cual una tercera parte debidamente autorizada y diferente del proveedor y el cliente, lleva a cabo una verificación de un proceso o servicio. Este proceso en síntesis consiste en validar (con una auditoría) si la empresa cumple los requisitos especificados de acuerdo a la conformidad de una normativa aplicable mediante reglas y procedimientos para llevar a cabo una certificación. Este consiste en un informe escrito donde se certifica la evaluación de la conformidad de una norma (Runa, 2017).

La acreditación es el procedimiento mediante el cual, un organismo autorizado (y con autorizado entendamos una entidad acreditadora) otorga un reconocimiento formal de que un organismo, maquina o persona es competente para cumplir una tarea específica.

La Diferencia entre acreditación y certificación es que la acreditación aplica a tareas específicas, mientras que las certificaciones aplican a especificaciones de productos, servicios o procesos. La acreditación es un nivel superior a la certificación y es una “licencia” para prestar los servicios de certificación. Sin la acreditación los certificados que emiten las organizaciones certificadoras no son reconocidos.

This paper deals with some aspects of ternary solder alloy 96.5Sn3Ag0.5Cu (wt.%) – SAC305, in order to determine changes in microstructure of solder joints usually used in electronics realized by Vapour Phase Soldering as well as by accelerated isothermal aging. The samples of solder joints were prepared to evaluate changes in their microstructure due to interfacial reactions on HAL (Hot Air Levelling) and Ni/Au PCB (Printed Circuit Board) surface finishes. Emphasis was placed on studying the effect of behaviour of intermetallic compounds as well as on prediction of reliability of solder joints.

A direct adaptive control law is developed for a robust International Space Station attitude regulation during robotic capture of a free-flyer by the Space Station Remote Manipulator System. The proposed output feedback direct adaptive controller is developed from the Simple Adaptive Control theory, and makes use of the Modified Rodrigues Parameters.  The performance of the adaptive controller is examined in MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Space Station Portable Operations Training Simulator; a high-fidelity multibody flexible dynamic simulation facility.  SPOTS simulation results are provided for an ISS free-flyer capture of a SpaceX Dragon-like space vehicle with the flexible SSRMS manipulator.  Simulation results highlight the improved performance and robustness to parametric and dynamics modeling uncertainties of the proposed novel attitude control approach when compared with an attitude Proportional-Derivative controller.
