Similarities

ABSTRACT. The current article aims to explore the similarities between the concept of the Creation imaginations in the mythical beliefs of two geographically and culturally very remote cultures, namely the Mayan K’iche’ tribe (Span.: Quiché) and XIII century medieval Scandinavians (Swed., Norw., Dan.: skandinaver). The text  predominantly indicates common features of Creation without outlining the other numerous differences. The article advocates the global statement, concerning the similar phenomena in different mythologies. It is a specific comparative investigation, concentrated on two perceptions apropos the Creation. This article manifests major comparative characteristics between Scandinavian and Mayan mythologies. The emphasis is placed on eleven similarities in Creation myths of Scandinavian and Mayan cultures. The eleven similarities are as follows:

1. A written mythological source;
2. A polytheistic religious system;
3. Creation is a collective deed;
4. Anthropocentric cosmogony;
5. Vulnerability of the gods;
6. Water as a primeval element of Creation;
7. The Creation act carried out in darkness;
8. The usage of a plant to create man;
9. Four-dimensional structure of the Universe;
10. Cruel nature of the underworld;
11. The need for continuous maintenance of the Creation.

The aim of this study is too corporate the function of the indirect object between Albanian and English language. The function and the Albanian typical case for indirect object are dative and ablative. This grammatical phenomena is the full contrast between two languages because in English language doesn't exist dative and ablative us in Albanian. In Albanian and English language, the indirect object is more heterogenic than the direct object. The indirect (direct) object in both of languages is the receiver (object) of the action within a sentence. It is typically the noun, all possessive pronouns (in the function of nouns), noun phrase that follows the verb, although the indirect object and subject complements can also occupy this position. The direct and indirect object have some characteristics in common, and this fact justifies their sharing term of object.

What can make the delicacy and the linguistic and expressive beauty of literary works, including prose and poetry, to be revealed is the level of skill and familiarity with rhetorical science, through which and with the help of them, one can express a meaning in different ways in terms of literary and artistic creativity. However, this is due to the fact that the differences are based on imagination. The critical comparison of these works can be very effective and constructive in their better and more accurate understanding. Therefore, the present research is to analyze and criticize "expression" in ancient and contemporary Persian rhetoric books through a critical and scientific approach and to show, using enough evidences and avoiding any love or hatred, its shortcomings and deficiencies. Almost all existing sources of "expression" from the old to the contemporary period have been investigated in present study, and the existing similarities, differences and contradictions, including imperfections, were analyzed through a three level critical exploration. The findings show that the authors of most rhetorical books have turned to imitation and repetition in their definitions, proposing their viewpoints and examples and have been suffering weaknesses and shortcomings such as Arabism, extreme fluent-writing, and using abbreviations, details and difficult examples.

The data management process is characterised by a set of tasks where data quality management (DQM) is one of the core components. Data quality, however, is a multidimensional concept, where the nature of the data quality issues is very diverse. One of the most widely anticipated data quality challenges, which becomes particularly vital when data come from multiple data sources which is a typical situation in the current data-driven world, is duplicates or non-uniqueness. Even more, duplicates were recognised to be one of the key domain-specific data quality dimensions in the context of the Internet of Things (IoT) application domains, where smart grids and health dominate most. Duplicate data lead to inaccurate analyses, leading to wrong decisions, negatively affect data-driven and/or data processing activities such as the development of models, forecasts, simulations, have a negative impact on customer service, risk and crisis management, service personalisation in terms of both their accuracy and trustworthiness, decrease user adoption and satisfaction, etc. The process of determination and elimination of duplicates is known as deduplication, while the process of finding duplicates in one or more databases that refer to the same entities is known as Record Linkage. To find the duplicates, the data sets are compared with each other using similarity functions that are usually used to compare two input strings to find similarities between them, which requires quadratic time complexity. To defuse the quadratic complexity of the problem, especially in large data sources, record linkage methods, such as blocking and sorted neighbourhood, are used. In this paper, we propose a six-step record linkage deduplication framework. The operation of the framework is demonstrated on a simplified example of research data artifacts, such as publications, research projects and others of the real-world research institution representing Research Information Systems (RIS) domain. To make the proposed framework usable we integrated it into a tool that is already used in practice, by developing a prototype of an extension for the well-known DataCleaner. The framework detects and visualises duplicates thereby identifying and providing the user with identified redundancies in a user-friendly manner allowing their further elimination. By removing the redundancies, the quality of the data is improved therefore improving analyses and decision-making. This study makes a call for other researchers to take a step towards the “golden record” that can be achieved when all data quality issues are recognised and resolved, thus moving towards absolute data quality.
