TransformationProcessesdebate ontheinteractionsbetween archaeological artifacts  and structures based on their natural and cultural environments. These processes provide a good picture about the site formation after its creation until now. Recognition of these processes and their context help archaeologists to interpret archaeological data in an appropriate way. In this paper I would argue about the abandonment of the site and demolition of the artifacts and structures by presenting some Iranian cases. Transformation processes play a significant role in archaeological studies; however such detail studies may lead archaeologists to get involved into ethnographical and anthropological point of views.

Şanlıurfa, yerleşme tarihi bakımından Türkiye’nin en eskilerindendir. Arkeolojik
araştırmalar sonunda, şehrin ilk kuruluş tarihinin Neolitik Dönem’e kadar dayandığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu nedenle, şehir 11000 yıllık bir tarihe sahiptir. Söz konusu Neolitik yerleşme, Yeni mahalle sınırları içinde yer almasından dolayı, Neolitik Yenimahalle Yerleşmesi olarak adlandırılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmalar, Şanlıurfa Şehri’nin ilk kuruluş yerinin, balıklı göllerin kuzeyinde yer alan Tılfındır Tepesi olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Şehrin kuruluş yeri seçiminde fiziki etmenlerin büyük bir rol oynadığı görülmektedir. Bu etmenler, su durumu, güvenlik, verimli tarım alanlarının varlığı, barınak ve alet yapımı için elverişli malzemenin varlığı, avlayıcılık ve toplayıcılığa elverişli flora ve faunanın varlığı, Paleolitik kültürlerin varlığı ve bunlar üzerindeki dolaylı etkileri olan iklimdir. Şehrin ilk kurulduğu bu alan incelendiğinde, yukarıda sayılan etmenler açısından hayli elverişli şartlar taşıdığı görülmektedir.

Abstract
In terms of its settlement history, Şanlıurfa is one of the oldest cities in Turkey.
Archaeological investigations have proved that the city’s settlement history goes back to Neolotic period. Therefore the history if the city goes back to 11000 years before present. The city used to be called Yenimahalle settlement as the city was initially founded in the vicinity of Yenimahalle. Investigations have so far proved that initial location for the foundation was the Tılfındır Hill which is in the north Balıklı Lake. It is believed that the physical geographical factors played important roles in the selection of this particular location. These factors are mainly; water, security, existence of fertile agricultural lands, natural shelter, existence of suitable fauna and flora for hunting and also for other primitive needs, existence of paleolithic population and also the climate which had indirect influence on all these factors. When this initial location is examined in detail it would be easy to determine that these location comprises most of the natural factors mentioned above.

SITE´S NOSTALGIA. On the relationship of architecture with contemporary sense of place.

Summary:
Architecture becomes more valuable when it exceeds the evident construction and achieves an indissoluble fusion with the site where it roots. The architect´s work becomes more delicate and intense when is refered, more than the building itself, to the invisible complementary space of architecture. However, the notion of context and place, understood in this way, hasn´t had the same consideration neither in architectural history or inside the modernity. Much of the architecture of the twentieth century has behaved with strange ambiguity about where it is located, due to its violence or reverential obedience on site.
Today the nostalgia about the site appears as one of the few instruments of architecture to achieve some significance and avoid the emptyness of sense.

The article is devoted to the phenomenon of doubles sites - two or more archaeological sites located in 50 – 100 m or more from each other, different in Dating and identified with one hamlet by written sources. Through archeological excavations it was determined that the hamlet of Kukarki arose around 1250 – 1300 and after desolation was restored about 1360 – 1440 100 metres to the East. After a new desolation, about 1504, it was delivered 400 m from the place of the former. The author suggests that the early village reflects the community of free peasants-beekeepers («volost») of the Moscow princes ' in the village of Mikulsky. After the occurrence in 1360-ies manor of Byakontovy in the village Dushenoe the part of peasants-beekeepers were under the power of the new owner. They were marked by Metropolitan Alexei (+1378) in his Testament ("villages and borts").

Research on anisotropic susceptibility magnetic of igneous rock has been done at jogjakarta located on Gunung Ijo. There were 8 specimen measured his susceptiblity with shape factor average of -0.28 and anisotropic degree of 12.6%, it means that on the site can be paleomagnetic sample. It observe that magnetic lineation more dominant and its maximum axis tends to direction of North East- South West so that the old lava flow NE-SW.

Öz İnsanoğlunun en temel ihtiyaçlarından biri barınma ihtiyacıdır. Barınma, mekânsal tasarıma ilham vermeye devam ederken, eş zamanlı olarak özellikle afet gibi sıra dışı durumlarda daha da büyük önem arz eden, insanın psikolojik, sosyal ve gündelik yaşamına doğrudan veya dolaylı etkileyen bir olgudur. Bu nedenle de afet sonucunda ortaya çıkan acil barınma ihtiyacı; hem ülkeler için kritik bir önem taşırken, hem de bilimsel çalışmalara konu olmaktadır. Bu ve benzeri durumlarda ortaya çıkan barınma ihtiyacı en çok duyarlı grupları (yaşlılar, engelliler ve kadınlar) etkilemektedir. Bu nedenle de ortaya çıkacak farklı çözüm önerileri ve bunların uygulanabilir hale getirilmesi devletin sosyal kimliği bakımından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Dünya literatürüne bakıldığında, özellikle depremler konusunda oldukça büyük mağduriyetler yaşamış ülkelerin başında gelen Japonya'nın toplumun duyarlı kesimleri için hızlı ve farklı çözümleri olduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışma kapsamında, bir afet (deprem gibi) durumunda huzurevi binalarında meydana gelebilecek yapısal yıkımda geçici barınma amacıyla kurulması planlanan prefabrik huzurevi planının oluşturulması ve gerekli olan tüm ihtiyaçların kesintisiz karşılanacağı bir ortam sunulması hedeflenmektedir. Böylelikle toplumun en kırılgan kesimi olan; yaşlı nüfusunun hayatına kaldığı yerden devam edebilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında, afet potansiyeli ve mevcut huzurevi durumu dikkate alınarak Kahramanmaraş ili, Elbistan Huzurevi pilot çalışma olarak seçilmiştir. Bu pilot uygulama özellikle meydana gelme olasılığı olan tüm afetler için uygulanabilecek şekilde tasarlanmıştır.

AN EXAMPLE STUDY ABOUT PROVIDING SHELTER FOR THE SENIOR VICTIMS: KAHRAMANMARAS  -ELBISTAN PREFABRICATED NURSING HOME SITES
 
Need for shelter is one of the main necessities for the mankind. Shelters have direct and relative impacts on human psychological health, social life and daily life, as well as they inspire the structural designs, and their importance grows under extraordinary situations like natural disasters. Therefore, emergence of the sudden need for shelters after disasters carries a significant importance for the states as well as they become subjects o the scientific researches. The most sensitive groups (like; seniors, disabled and women) have been affected more under such conditions. For this reason, emergence of different types of solutions and practicing these solutions has a big importance for the state’s social identities. Looking at the world literature, we observe that Japan which has experienced major decrements with earthquakes has immediate and different solutions for the sensitive groups. The aim of this study is to create an environment to form and provide necessities for the plan of the prefabricated nursing home sites for temporary use of senior victims under the scenario of a disaster (like, earthquakes) which may damage the structure of existing senior nursing home sites. The aim is to contribute to the continuity of lifetime for the old population. This study covers the existing Kahramanmaras province, Elbistan nursing home which has the risk of a disaster and was chosen as the pilot study. This pilot plan especially designed for emergence of any type of disaster.

The article is dedicated to the publication and analysis of materials from one of the multi-layered monuments of the Lower Kama region - Kuzkinskaya XVII site. The settlement materials feature traces of several stages of operation. The earliest stage is related to the late Neolithic. In terms of the technical and typological attributes, the ceramic inventory of this stage corresponds to Kama culture. In addition, in the Final Neolithic the site is characterized by the presence of the carriers of Russian-Azibey ceramics and incised ceramics. In the Late Eneolithic the site was populated by the representatives of Garino culture.
The operation of the site in the Late Bronze Age is associated with the of carriers of ceramics belonging to Zaosinovskaya, Lugovskaya and the Atabaevo stage of Maklasheevo cultures. The final period of site operation should probably be attributed to the presence the population of Ananyino Cultural and Historical Area in the territory in question. Single fragments of textile ceramics also correspond to the Early Iron Age.
In terms of the overall technical and typological attributes, the stone inventory corresponds to the characteristics of Kama culture. The operation of the site, probably with interruptions, continued from the
mid-5th to the 1st millennia B.C.

The purpose of this article is to answer of question on the origin of the minaret of Al Aqsha Mosque of Kudus whether its is Hinduism-Buddhism or Islamic site. Data are collected through interview, observation and literature review by means of descriptive analytic method of analysis. This paper shows that archeological study classified the minaret as an Islamic building based on the Javanese symbols (candra sengkala) engraved in the pillars gapura rusak ewahing jagad. Gapura (gate) refers to 9, rusak means 0, ewahing is 6 and jagad means 1. Read from the last, it refers to the year 1609. The year was the era of Walisongo when Hinduism was declining in Kudus. Hindus and Buddhists people consider the minaret similar to temple based on the architecture and oral tradition. Therefore, further study incorporating history and archeology need to be conducted.

The paper introduces into scientific discourse a ceramic collection from reference settlement complexes of the Kama Neolithic culture in the Lower Kama region studied across large areas with substantial sampling of the material culture. Over 700 vessels of this culture are characterized. The author substantiates the identification of early Neolithic materials of this culture at Observatoria III and Dubovaya Griva II sites. The dishware of the developed stage has the most representation, and has been discovered at almost every sites studied by means of stationary excavations. At the beginning of the final (Levshino) stage of the Kama culture, the Kama region near the river mouth was visited by a rare Eneolithic population leaving sites of the Ust-Kama burial ground type and, which was probably the reason why the population of the Kama culture began to occupy the promontories of high terraces (Kazanka II). The southern influence is also traceable on vessels of the Levshino stage of the Kama Neolithic culture, which feature a specific design of the crown - the “collar”. A calculated affinity index of the reference sites in the Lower Kama region demonstrated a high similarity degree.

ABSTRACT The growth of uniform single-crystal HAp (hydroxyapatite) nanorods on specific sites on a substrate is achieved. HAp nanorods were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions in a solution containing calcium and phosphate ions, urea as a source of base, and with gelatin as a structure directing agent. The nanorods are hundreds of micrometers in length and 50–200 nm in width. Without gelatin, platelike HAp crystals were formed. To grow these uniform HAp nanorods on specific sites on a substrate, the surface of a gold-coated glass slide was coated by a self-assembled monolayer of 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid by stamping with a patterned PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane) stamp. The HAp nanorods were grown exclusively in the carboxylate functionalized regions. Selective area electron diffraction analyses show that the single-crystal HAp nanorods formed on the substrate grow along the crystallographic c-axis. In comparison to the nonpatterned sample, an increase of the X-ray diffraction intensity ratio of (00l)/(h00) peaks in the patterned sample indicates that nanorods are preferentially oriented with their c-axes perpendicular to the substrate, which was confirmed by SEM cross-sectional images. In this strategy, both the morphology and the deposition sites of HAp nanorods are controlled.

Many of the most famous and relevant buildings of the 21st century are characterized by being singular, unusual and striking. This widespread way to approach design emphasizes the autonomy of the architectural object at the expense of its ability to build connections with the site. However, in the last years, another architectural paradigm, quite opposite to this one, has gained importance. This other paradigm goes on to neutralize the object, instead of accentuating its presence. The architecture that this paradigm proposes try to go unnoticed, to accept to appear ordinary, and sometimes goes as far as to question the need of its own construction. Nowadays the most commonly used strategies to neutralize the architectural objects are camouflage, anonymity and minimization. The purpose of this article is to explain the characteristics of this paradigm and the reasons of its relevance in contemporary architecture.
