Öz: Türk Sosyal Sigortalar Hukuku gereğince kısa vadeli sigorta kolları kapsamında çalışan sigortalı çalışanlara tanınan haklardan biri de geçici iş göremezlik ödeneğidir. “Geçici iş göremezlik”, bir sigortalı çalışanın hastalık geçirmesi, iş kazasına uğraması, meslek hastalığına tutulması veya hamileliği sonucu hekim veya sağlık kurulu raporlarına istinaden istirahatli olduğu dönemde geçici olarak çalışmama halidir. Bu bağlamda “geçici iş göremezlik ödeneği” de kapsamdaki sigortalı çalışanlara iş kazası, meslek hastalığı, hastalık veya analık (hamilelik) hallerinde çalışamaz durumda iken, yaşadıkları gelir kaybının kısmen de olsa telafisi amacıyla Sosyal Güvenlik Kurumu’nca 5510 sayılı Kanunun 18’inci maddesi uyarınca hesaplanan ve ödenen parasal yardımdır. Bu makalede çalışanların geçici iş göremez olmaları halinde kendilerine ödenen geçici iş göremezlik ödeneğinin genel uygulama esasları ele alınmış ve geçici iş göremezlik ödeneğinin iş göremezliğin türüne göre değişen hesaplanması hususu örneklerle açıklanmıştır.

Abstract: In accordance with the Turkish Social Insurance Law, one of the rights granted to insured employees working within the scope of short-term insurance branches is temporary incapacity allowance. “Temporary incapacity for work” is the temporary inability of an insured employee to work during a period of rest based on physician or medical board reports as a result of illness, work accident, occupational disease, or pregnancy. In this context, “temporary incapacity allowance” is the financial aid calculated and paid in accordance with the Article 18 of the Act No. 5510 to insured employees by the Social Security Institution, in order to partially compensate the income loss which, they experience while they are unable to work in cases of work accident, occupational disease, illness or maternity (pregnancy). In this article, the general application principles of the temporary incapacity allowance paid to employees in case they are temporarily incapacitated is being discussed and the calculation of the temporary incapacity allowance, which varies depending on the type of incapacity, is explained with example cases.

At the national and international level, many studies have already examined the various aspects and factors of driving a car in the case of healthy people. The novelty and purpose of this study is to provide insight into an area that has been scientifically under-researched at the national and international level, which is related to the experiences of people with reduced mobility in obtaining a driver's license and driving a vehicle. The author uses the experiences of instructors (5 people) and disabled drivers (9 people) to describe this special area in her own research with a small number of interviews.

A Covid–19-járvány és az azt követő energiaválság tovább súlyosbította a már meglévő problémákat a szegénység, ezen belül az energiaszegénység terén. Ezzel egyidejűleg a központi elvonások szűkítették az önkormányzatok pénzügyi lehetőségeit a legsérülékenyebb társadalmi csoportok szociális nehézségei enyhítését célzó, érzékelhető mértékű energiatámogatás biztosítására. Az önkormányzatok financiális nehézségei költségvetésük szigorítását követelik meg, amely a kiadási oldal tételeinek jelentős visszametszését s így a települési támogatásra szánt források csökkentését eredményezheti. A jelen esettanulmány, mely Baján készült, kvantitatív (statisztikai adatok), valamint kvalitatív módszerrel (dokumentumelemzés) azt vizsgálja, hogy a települési önkormányzat a lakhatáshoz kapcsolódó rendszeres kiadások viseléséhez nyújtott települési támogatás ellátási forma szabályozásán keresztül milyen mértékben járult hozzá az energia- szegénység problémájának kezeléséhez a 2020 és 2022 közötti időszakban.

This study analyzed the output-based performance assessment of junior high school teachers in Eastern Visayas for the school year 2018-2019. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches were applied to measure the variables. The results revealed that the recent output-based performance assessment is often observed in public schools in Region VIII, wherein performance planning and commitment are the most substantial aspects of compliance. In contrast, the weakest aspect is the performance reward and development. As revealed in the attitudinal aspects of the respondents, there is a generally favorable attitude towards the competency-based performance appraisal system for teachers, the student's appraisal of teacher performance, and other forms of output-based performance assessment. The teachers' performance, as measured by the IPCRF, and school performance, as measured by the OPCRF, have no significant correlation with the perception-based, attitude-based, and other assumed independent variables. Future research and inquiries on output-based assessment of teacher performance may focus on the perspectives of the higher educational authorities while exploring alternative variables that predict the authentic level of teaching performance and school outcomes.

Refugee children are some of the most vulnerable populations in the world. Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) for refugee children can have positive impacts on child outcomes, however most of the evidence stems from research from high income countries. This paper reports on a critical review, carried out to evaluate what we know about benefits and the quality of ECEC programmes for refugee children in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). 15 studies were identified, located in refugee camps and resettlement contexts in seven different countries. Whilst acknowledging limitations due to the small number and low rigour of the studies included in this review, the findings indicate benefits of ECEC participation for children across developmental domains, showing particular the potential to support socio-emotional learning and emotional recovery. This study examined factors hindering secondary schools in the Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria from having positive school-community ties. Four research questions guided the study, and four hypotheses were formulated and tested at the 0.05 level of significance. All of the public secondary schools in Edo State's Esan West Local Government Area were included in the research. The study used the expo-facto research design to look at what prevents secondary schools in the Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria from having strong school community connections. The thirty-two (32) junior and senior secondary school principals from the sixteen public secondary schools in the Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State made up the study's population. The 32 principals of junior and senior public secondary schools were selected from the total population. The "Factors Hindering School Community Relations Questionnaire" (FHSCRQ), a questionnaire created by researchers, was used to collect data for this study. Chi-square, Mean, and Standard Deviation were used to examine the data. In this context, the Chi-square statistical tool was used to evaluate all the hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance. The results of the tests conducted on the hypotheses showed that poor communication, a lack of commitment on the part of members, poor leadership in secondary school principals, and poor school location all hampered good school community relations in secondary schools in the Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria. Based on the study's results, it was recommended that school administrators, among other things, make sure they create and maintain a very excellent and strong contact with their host communities.

The challenge of this article is to put into perspective the dispute of institutional forces that act in everyday school life, with the aim of analyzing the work of psychologists at school and reflecting about it. The position that supports this work is based on conceptions developed by School Psychology regarding critical analyzes of the psychologist’s practice in schools. We use theoretical-practical tools from the Institutionalist Movement as a way to access, in everyday relationships, the game of establishment the instituting and instituted forces and the effects of naturalization and normalization of the bodies that inhabit this territory. Based on a situation experienced in the school field, we will analyze some institutional forces that demonstrate the need for the school psychologist to keep on the lookout for everyday scenes in which these effects, of naturalization and normalization, are tensioned.

The present paper studies the importance of emotional intelligence in adolescents in the modern world. Every individual is unique in its disposition. He adapts his own way of dealing with variety of situations in life. Some times the person is able to think rationally and sometimes he thinks emotionally. Both the aspects of human personality i.e. rational thinking and thinking emotionally are important for dealing with stressful circumstances. The stress is sometimes created due to frustrating environment. The person seems to be emotionally intelligent when he is able to deal effectively with frustrating life situations. The present study reveals that frustration tolerance is significantly correlated with emotional intelligence. Thus, emotionally intelligent students are more tolerant to frustration. Logical thinking is not correlated with emotional intelligence. Academic success is significantly correlated with emotional intelligence. So, it implies that it is not necessary; the child who is well in his/her academics is emotionally intelligent and vice-versa. This paper is an attempt to correlate emotional intelligence with frustration problems of class IX students.

The present study intended to study the career preference of secondary school students belonging to different social categories such as General, Scheduled Castes, and Backward classes. The study was conducted on a sample of 560 students studying in the 10th class in various high and senior secondary schools of district Bathinda and Mansa of Punjab. The sample was drawn randomly using multi-stage cluster sampling. Career Preference Inventory developed by the investigator was used to collect the data from the chosen sample. To analyse the data, percentage statistics were used. The results show that the top three career preferences of students according to rank are Teaching & Training (21.25%), Defence Forces (18.57%), and Law Enforcement & Administrative (11.43%). Skilled & Self Employment was the least career preferred by 3.21% students only. The study found a significant difference in the career preferences of secondary school students in relation to their social category.

Objetivo: Compreender o cuidar de presidiários sob a ótica de acadêmicos de enfermagem. Método: Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, com abordagem qualitativa, realizada com 11 acadêmicos de enfermagem da Universidade Estadual da Paraíba, no período de agosto a setembro de 2013. Para coleta de dados foi utilizada entrevista semiestruturada audiogravada. Os dados foram analisados conforme técnica da Análise de Conteúdo. Resultados: Quatro categorias foram evidenciadas: cuidado integral; direito social; prestação de cuidados aos presidiários e lacunas na formação acadêmica do enfermeiro. Conclusão: O cuidar de presidiários para acadêmicos de enfermagem é compreendido como uma obrigação profissional e humana, entretanto este cuidar perpassa por dificuldades, como medo, acentuado por mitos, preconceitos e estigmas, acrescidos pela deficiência na formação acadêmica.

Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Hukum dalam keadaan tertentu menyesuaikan diri dengan struktur sosial, tetapi dalam keadaan lain, hal sebaliknya yang terjadi.  Dan gejala ini merupakan bagian dari proses sosial yang terjadi secara menyeluruh.  Dengan mempelajari struktur sosial, diketahuinya pula bahwa di samping hukum, terdapat pula alat alat pengendalian sosial lainnya yang di dalam keadaan tertentu lebih efektif daripada hukum.

Lo expuesto signado por el principio de “no regresividad” como norte ineludible en materia de promocion y proteccion de derechos fundamentales.En dicho contexto, las universidades detentan un rol fundamental en el diseno prospectivo de las estrategias y resortes para la consecucion de los fines desarrollados.
