Technical Analysis

This paper proposes an intelligent mobile middleware utilizing group-based content push with dynamic session startup and plugand-play features. Solution enhances the distribution of mobile content, such as game applications or multimedia files, within a peer group community. It exploits the social relationships of the user community to enable instant application downloading, installation, and licensing upon incoming connection attempt initiated by another peer group member. In the core of the middleware functionality are dynamic application identification and immediate session startup. This paper presents a use case scenario for a content push procedure. Functional and technical analysis of the novel middleware component are provided.

O trabalho foi conduzido em povoamentos de eucalipto de uma empresa florestal do Estado de Goiás, com o objetivo de avaliar técnica e economicamente um sistema de colheita florestal de árvores inteiras composto de "feller-buncher", "skidder" e garra traçadora. Foi realizado um estudo de tempos e movimentos e determinados os custos operacionais e de produção das máquinas. Para avaliar esses valores de produtividade do "feller-buncher" e da garra traçadora, foi empregado um delineamento estatístico inteiramente casualizado com seis repetições, em esquema de parcelas subdivididas. Adotaram-se como parcelas as operações que compõem o ciclo operacional das máquinas e como subparcelas, os níveis de produtividade de floresta de 100, 200 e 300 m³ ha -1 . Os valores foram submetidos à análise de variância e ao teste de Tukey a 5% de probabilidade. Para avaliar o efeito dos tempos consumidos nas operações do ciclo operacional do "skidder" nas produtividades de floresta de 100, 200 e 300 m³ ha -1 e nas distâncias de arraste de 100, 200 e 300 m, assim como avaliar suas interações quando significativas, utilizou-se um delineamento estatístico de blocos casualizados, em esquema fatorial 6x3x3, sendo seis operações, três produtividades e três distâncias de arraste, com quatro repetições. Os valores foram submetidos à análise de variância e ao teste de Tukey a 5% de probabilidade. Concluiu-se que o "feller-buncher" registrou o maior custo de produção dentro do sistema, obtendo melhor capacidade efetiva de trabalho nas áreas de maior produtividade. O "skidder" também teve seu melhor desempenho no talhão de 300 m³ ha -1 na distância até 200 m. A garra traçadora apresentou custo de 0.97, 0.75 e 0.63 US$ m -3 para as produtividades de 100, 200 e 300 m³ ha -1 , respectivamente.

Bireysel ve kurumsal yatırımcıların finansal piyasalarda yatırım kararları alırken sıklıkla kullandıkları analizler temel analiz ve teknik analiz şeklinde ikiye ayrılmaktadır. Temel analiz; makroekonomik gidişatı, sektörel gelişmeleri ve spesifik olarak yatırım yapılacak varlığın finansal göstergelerini dikkate alırken, teknik analiz; finansal varlıkların geçmiş fiyat hareketlerinden yola çıkarak bu finansal varlığın gelecekteki fiyat hareketlerini tahminlemeye çalışmaktadır. Teorik altyapısı Dow Teorisine dayanan ve “finansal varlığın geçmiş fiyat hareketleri zamanla tekrarlanacaktır” gibi bir takım varsayımlar barındıran teknik analiz yöntemine göre yatırım kararı alınırken çeşitli indikatörler, osilatörler ve formasyonlar kullanılmaktadır. Bu göstergelerden Hareketli Ortalamaların Yakınsaması/Iraksaması, Bollinger Bant, Göreceli Güç Endeksi yatırımcıların sıklıkla kullandıkları göstergeler arasındadır.  Bu çalışmada 2014-2018 Bitcoin ve Ethereum günlük fiyat verileri kullanılarak belirtilen göstergeler test edilmiş, Bitcoin ve Ethereum Al/Sat kararları tahmin edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çıkan sonuçlar neticesinde kripto paraların yatırımcılara sağlayacağı getiriler hesaplanmıştır. Finansal piyasalarda en fazla işlem gören kripto paraların analiz edildiği çalışmada, yatırım kararlarında teknik analizin ne derece etkili olduğu ve bu yatırımlardan teknik analiz kullanılarak herhangi bir getiri sağlanıp sağlanamayacağı irdelenmiştir. Analizlerden elde edilen bulgular Etkin Piyasalar Hipotezi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir.

Analyzes that are frequently used by individual and institutional investors when making investment decisions in financial markets are divided into fundamental analysis and technical analysis. While fundamental analysis evaluating financial instruments based on macroeconomic factors, sectoral developments, and financial data of the instruments, technical analysis; tries to forecast the future price of this financial instrument using its historical price movements. The theoretical background of the technical analysis is based on the Dow Theory and there are some assumptions such as “historical price movements of financial assets will be repeated over time”. There are also some indicators such as Moving Average Convergence Divergence, Bollinger Band, and the Relative Strength Index frequently used by investors. In this study, the indicators tested using 2014-2018 Bitcoin, Ethereum daily price data. Bitcoin and Ethereum Buy / Sell decisions have been tried to be estimated and the return of the cryptocurrencies to investors has been calculated. Analyzing the most frequently traded cryptocurrencies in financial markets, it has been examined how effective the technical analysis is in investment decisions and whether any returns can be obtained by using technical analysis from these investments. The findings from analyzes were evaluated within the framework of Effective Market Hypothesis.
