This paper presents a puzzle game for early detection of dementia embedded with a singing interface for promoting mental health. In recent years, dementia has become a social problem worldwide, and early detection is regarded as a key for successful treatment. Moreover, spatial navigation is an essential factor for early detection. Therefore, we develop a maze-like puzzle game that the player has to navigate the maze’s exit. Furthermore, gameplay logs can then be used to analyze the cognitive state of the players and assess the risk of dementia. However, as found in existing systems, cognitive assessment could put pressure and stress on players. Therefore, we integrate a singing interface into the game as a mini-game. The mini-game will appear when the system detects that the player gets lost in the maze. After completing the mini-game, hints will be generated to help the player. This design is expected to help relieve stress and promoting mental well-being.

The involvement of consciousness is considered in the phenomenon of the wave function collapse. This research explores the integration of Deep Reinforcement Learning (RL) and a Wave Function Collapse (WFC) algorithm for a goal-driven, open-ended generation of architectural spaces. The origin of the noise in collapse theories remains a deep mystery. In this paper, I argue that the noise cannot be a universal noise field, responsible for the collapse of the wave function of every quantum system ; otherwise these theories cannot solve the measurement problem. In the framework of Special Relativity and in agreement with the electromagnetic approach used to connect Quantum and Relativistic effects in Bridge Theory, a first order wave-equation able to emulate the wave-particle duality in terms of local electromagnetic interactions is proposed. Metaphysical underdetermination arises when we are not able to decide, by purely theoretical criteria, between competing interpretations of scientific theories with different metaphysical commitments. This is the case in which non-relativistic quantum mechanics (QM) founds itself in. Among several available interpretations, there is the interpretation which states that the interaction with the conscious mind of a human observer causes a change in the dynamics of quantum objects undergoing from indefinite to definite states. This is, in a nutshell, the received view of the consciousness causes the collapse hypothesis (CCCH), which is the basis for a set of interpretations known as subjectivistic interpretations of QM. Here we propose a further distinction between three levels of metaphysical underdetermination within the discussion related to the interpretations of QM: the first level, described above, concerns the general framework of interpretations of QM (where CCCH is an option among several others, and which is not addressed here); the second one emerges within a particular set of interpretations (namely, CCCH), and the third one from two possible approaches to a particular branch of this set of interpretations. We suggest breaking the last two using metaphysical arguments. As a general result, we have been able to rule out the dualist approach of CCCH (though we cannot rule it out empirically) and to realize that the only viable phenomenological approach to CCCH is the eidetic one.

This paper presents a new 3D game for cognitive assessment. The game is inspired by the fact that cognitive decline has become one most common diseases associated with aging nowadays, and early detection of cognitive decline is a key for successful treatment. Common symptoms of cognitive decline can be diagnosed via cognitive processing, executive function, visual attention, immediate recognition, and delayed recognition assessment. The proposed game allows combining the advantages from previous systems, which are the presence of a 3D environment, the procedural content generation (PCG), and the universal design concept.

In this paper we introduce a generalized wave function of a quantum system which encompasses both wave nature and particle nature, simultaneously, in one function. With the help of these wave functions we reinterpret quantum mechanics in a more generalized and comprehensible way. In this new framework, we can do away with concepts like superposition principle and wave function collapse of quantum mechanics as all the quantum states are inherently present in the wave function. We also derive the canonical commutation relation and obtain the Heisenberg uncertainty principle directly from this generalized wave function. Finally, by explaining phenomena like quantum interference and electron- positron interaction we demonstrate how one can utilize these wave functions to describe quantum interactions. In the process of explaining electron-positron interaction we also find the reasons for particle-antiparticle asymmetry in the universe.

Panpsychism is the view that consciousness is a fundamental feature of reality. Panpsychism addresses the fact that no physical theories can ever be able to explain conscious experience in terms of physical processes. This is known as the hard problem of consciousness. However, Panpsychism dose not define consciousness and the mechanism of interaction with the physical object that possess it. Hence, more details are required to incorporate it into a fully-developed theory. On the other hand, the black hole information paradox (BHIP) is a puzzle resulting from the combination of quantum mechanics and general relativity. Calculations suggest that physical information could permanently disappear in a black hole, allowing many physical states to devolve into the same state, which directly violates the laws of physics. In this work, we have attempted a new approach in which we constrained the properties of consciousness in such a way that it resolves BHIP and provides a concrete functional role of consciousness in the physical realm. We will show that this approach leads to a novel interpretation of wave function collapse and quantum entanglement. We have also suggested ways to falsify the proposed model in this work.
