Being aware of local community information is critical to maintaining civic engagement and participation. The use of online news and microblog content to create and disseminate community information has long been studied. However, interactions in the online spaces dedicated to local communities tend to only garner very limited usage, and people often do not consider microblog content as a meaningful source of local community information. Local News Chatter (LNC) was designed to address these challenges by augmenting local news feeds with microblog content and presenting them in a tag cloud that displays news topics of varying popularity with different tag sizes. Our study with 30 local residents highlights that LNC increases the visibility of hyperlocal community news information and successfully utilizes microblog as an additional information layer. Typical Q methodology studies include either tables of statements or sorting grids with statement numbers representing the views of each factor that has emerged within the study.  Yet it could be useful to Q methodologists to have a simpler, more visual way to present this data to present the “big ideas” of perspectives and consensus determined in these studies.  In this article, the benefits of visual representations of data, especially in mixed research methods like Q methodology, are discussed.  Word clouds are a method for visually presenting text data, typically keywords on websites and in this paper we present a data set as a series of word clouds and also tables and sort-grids that are more typically seen in Q methodology presentations within this journal and elsewhere.

Ένα συννεφόλεξο (word cloud) – γνωστό και ως σταθμισμένος κατάλογος ή σύννεφο ετικετών (textcloud, tagcloud) – είναι μια καινοτομία στην οπτική αναπαράσταση των δεδομένων ενός κειμένου. Συνήθως, οι ετικέτες είναι μεμονωμένες λέξεις και η σημασία κάθε ετικέτας εμφανίζεται με μέγεθος γραμματοσειράς ή με χρώμα. Όσο πιο συχνά εμφανίζεται μια λέξη, τόσο μεγαλύτερη θα είναι η λέξη-σύννεφο. Με αυτή τη μορφή μπορούμε να επιτύχουμε την γρήγορη αντίληψη των πιο σημαντικών όρων ή την χρήση τους ως βοηθήματα πλοήγησης ιστοτόπων, όπου οι όροι που εμφανίζονται στην ετικέτα συνδέονται με υπερσυνδέσμους.

The study explores the phenomenon of “viral mathematics”, providing insights about the availability and the structure of mathematical content in public-generated media (in particular in comments on videos). The study offers the research methodology, relying on original mix of qualitative, quantitative and data mining paradigms. The findings show that communication using scientific argumentation can occur in comments on a recreational mathematical video; the growth of public interest in mathematical themes can be triggered by the viral video; and the arguments used by the comment-makers contain mathematical derivations, terminology and views on science. Learning through comments can bridge intramural and extramural learning of mathematics and serve as a new source for engaging mathematical problems.

This article reflects on key concepts of historical thinking proposed by doctoral students and young researchers. Established concepts such as the social role of history, professional historian and (imagined) space are still important to the new generation of historians. At the same time, some new concepts are emerging, such as political exhumations, mass graves, motion, embodied historical research, ahistorical memory politics, websites as historical sources, critical heritage studies and heritagisation, treason, preposterous history-an idea taken from Mieke Bal, and "Supreme Peace"-a notion drawn from the Chinese philosophy of history. To interpret these concepts, I build word clouds as a way of creating knowledge involving non-human factors (algorithms) while enabling speculative interpretations of the relations between words. This study aims to investigate the meaningful pattern that can be used to improve digital culture in higher education based on parameters of the technology acceptance model (TAM). The methodology used is the data mining technique with K-means algorithm and text analytics. The experiment using questionnaire data with 2887 respondents in Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The data analysis and clustering result show that the perceived usefulness and behavioral intention to use information systems are above the normal value, while the perceived ease of use and actual system use is quite low. Strengthened with text analytics, this research found that the EDA and K-means result in harmony with the hope or desire of academic society the information system implementation. This research also found how important the socialization and guidance of information systems, especially the new one information system, in order to improve digital culture in higher education. 1. INTRODUCTION In the technology disruption era, many software/applications/information systems built to help human activities. Tragically, 37% of 1,800 software are wasted, and 47% of them are software in the field of education [1]. This fact occurs because many factors such as unfulfilled user requirements; there are software errors, faults, and failures; software quality is not fulfilled; no innovation; does not apply the concept of human and computer interaction properly; difficult to use; not according to market needs (not up-to-date); to the lack of understanding of the use of technology due to its rapid development so that trends cannot be followed; etcetera. Of course, this is an obstacle for higher education to achieve Techno University [2], Digital Campus [3, 4], Smart Campus [5-8], Green Campus [9], as well as various other terms in the era of digital technology-based education. Therefore, no matter how sophisticated the technology is offered, when the application program is not used as planned, it will not have significant implications for human activity. One of the main problems of the failure of implementing digital systems is that they are not ready to accept technological changes so quickly that the use of technology is not cultivated and does not become a necessity

Visualization or visual expression means explaining an idea or a concept without using text or numbers. There are many instruments and methods of visual expression. Visual expression can be formed by different materials and environments. The use of drawing tools in architectural design is one of the ways of visualization. Visualization tools can define different stages of the expression from abstract to concrete. Different tools can be used for each stage such as conceptual schemes word clouds and parti. They generalize, reduce, or summarize the relations / spaces according to the kind of aimed relationships. In the design process, they can be used both in the beginning of the process and for post-design evaluation of the spaces. This method can help architectural students to discover how to think and express visually. This study aims to explore several visualization methods in comparison to each other. This study presents examples of how visual expressions are used in architectural design education.

An ever-greater number of journals now not only publish text content but also try to provide graphical abstracts for manuscripts.

A graphical abstract is a graphical presentation of the main conclusions of the paper. The figure can be taken from the paper or specially designed. At the same time, it should represent the content of the paper as much as possible and be understandable for readers.

However, it is not always possible to create a graphical abstract, for example, for review and theoretical articles in the field of social and economic sciences.

The editors of the Economic Consultant journal suggested publishing a “word cloud” as a graphical supplement to a scientific paper. Since 2019, the “word cloud” has been published for each paper.

A word cloud is a visualization of word frequency in a text. The font size of each word in the “cloud” is determined by its prevalence in the text. The word cloud helps readers to understand what basic keywords and terms the author uses directly in the text of the paper.

To present this visualization, the editors decided to use the service https://wordscloud.pythonanywhere.com/. The layout designer can process the paper, using only its text (without the title, abstract, and references).

From 2020, the editorial board decided to publish such graphical supplements not only in pdf articles but also on the pages of journal articles.

However, we understand that graphical supplements cannot substitute for graphical abstracts, and the development of the latter seems to us to be a promising trend in the development of the Economic Consultant journal.

Many systems provide search and recommendation capabilities to scholars that search for scientific documents including research papers and dissertations. The appearance of search results may largely affect the system use. Traditional approaches provide textual formats for showing the results to users, whereas more recent approaches concentrate on other forms, e.g., on two dimensions. Moreover, this presentation may be adapted to user needs providing a personalised user experience combined with other contextual factors, such as enriching user search with keywords from recently used documents. In this paper, we present our work on results representation in the framework of a dissertation search engine in the Serbian language with the ultimate aim to provide a more personalised experience to users. We have integrated our approach in the PhD UNS digital library system of the University of Novi Sad, a research information, library and educational information system, and are discussing as early evaluation how users are perceiving this approach outlining also our vision for a context-aware digital library system. The initial results demonstrate the usefulness of providing more choices to the users adapting application to their needs.

Nowadays many travelers use online travel agencies (OTAs) to book flights, hotel rooms, rent-a-cars, cruises or entire vacation packages. Usually OTAs allow their users to give scores and to write reviews about what was used. Each OTA defines the terms and conditions for guest rating or review score and hoteliers are giving increasing importance to these scores and reviews. This paper proposes two guest reputation indexes to help hoteliers to monitor their presence in OTAs: the Aggregated Guest Reputation Index (AGRI), which shows the positioning of a hotel in different OTAs and it is calculated from the scores obtained by the hotels in those OTAs; and, the Semantic Guest Reputation Index (SGRI), which incorporates the social reputation of a hotel and that can be developed using Sentiment Analysis (or Opinion Mining) and can also be visualized through the development of word clouds or tag clouds. Examples of usage of these indexes are given with data extracted from 5-star hotels in the Algarve, south region of Portugal, available on Booking and Expedia.

Las plataformas de codificación social basadas en Git (e.g.; GitHub, BitBucket) han sido adoptadas por una importante cantidad de proyectos de código abierto, y se han convertido en una importante fuente de información técnica y social acerca del desarrollo de software. Tal información podría ser empleada para identificar convenciones de programación utilizadas por equipos de desarrollo de software. El presente trabajo pretende explotar los patrones de nombrado inmersos en un repositorio Git de código fuente, para obtener nubes de palabras como resumen de éste. Repositorios Git de diferentes proyectos de código abierto han sido empleados para evaluar la propuesta. Los resultados muestran palabras significativas extraídas de los repositorios, y características frecuentes de implementación para artefactos de código que utilizan tales palabras. Abstract-Git based social coding platforms (e.g.; GitHub, BitBucket) have been broadly adopted by many open source projects, and have became an important source of technical and social information about software development. That information could be employed for identifying programming conventions used by software development teams. This work intends leverage the naming patterns immersed in a Git repository of source code, for getting word clouds as a summary of it. Git repositories of several open source projects have been employed to evaluate the proposal. INTRODUCCIÓN Conforme un sistema de software evoluciona, su código fuente se convierte en una fuente de información que se encuentra actualizada y que contiene información relevante acerca del dominio de la aplicación [18]. La relevancia de los nombres de artefactos de código (e.g.; clase) radica en su aporte al código fuente para ser legible, mantenible y relacionado al dominio del problema [28]. Se puede mencionar que los programadores en un equipo de desarrollo son conscientes de la importancia de los nombres establecidos en sus unidades de código [10], por ello emplean nombres identificadores que puedan comunicar la función que cumplen [26], y procuran elegir nombres que sean convencionales (i.e., nombres usados en la industria y/o en comunidades de desarrollo) [27]. Asimismo, las plataformas de codificación social basadas en Git (e.g.; GitHub, BitBucket) ofrecen grandes ventajas para el desarrollo colaborativo [43]. Tales plataformas han sido adoptadas por una importante cantidad de proyectos de código abierto [4], y se han convertido en una importante fuente de información técnica y social acerca del desarrollo de software [3] [5]. This journal provides an overview of Natural Language Processing (NLP). This will provide an introduction to NLP and is also intended to focus on the discussion of the current challenges of Natural Language Processing, NLP libraries, and the features of the Natural Language Toolkit (NLTK). Added to that, it is also intended to briefly discuss the Word Cloud, Stemming, and Lemmatization. This journal will provide results and discussion based on the research of the authors and will serve as a platform for collecting information and discussion about natural language processing.

Being actively engaged in a task is often associated with critical thinking. Cultivating critical thinking skills, such as purposefully reflecting and analyzing one’s own thinking, is a major goal of higher education. However, there is a challenge in providing college students opportunities to clearly demonstrate these skills in online courses. This research explores the effectiveness of incorporating word clouds–visual representations of word frequency in a given passage of text–into online discussions. We sought to establish whether implementing word clouds in online discussions would result in a higher incidence of critical thinking and engagement. Survey results from undergraduate participants (n=132) revealed that students analyzing text in word clouds reported moderately higher scores on critical thinking and engagement than students analyzing the text in a linear fashion. A positive relationship was found between critical thinking and engagement, as well as peer interaction. ...

In quest'ultimo capitolo viene eseguita la Sentiment Analysis su Predappio attraverso tre diversi social media: Facebook, Twitter e YouTube. Lo studio ricopre sei mesi del 2019 e mostra le parole e i topic più ricorrenti e il loro sentiment associato.
In fondo al capitolo, vengono desunte alcune conclusioni che permettono di riassumere il quadro generale di Predappio sui social media.

The study attempts to map Twitter activity of selected Indian libraries using word frequency and sentiment analysis. Tweets of 18 libraries' (5 academic libraries, 5 government libraries, 5 school libraries and 3 public libraries) were downloaded during June and July 2019. 'R' software was used for the analysis. The study finds that Indian libraries are less active on Twitter. The word cloud based on the most frequently occurring words from the Tweets observed variations in Tweets depend upon the type of libraries. Sentiment analysis of Tweets showed that most of the libraries' Tweets are positive in nature. The study recommends that Indian libraries should use twitter to promote their collections and services.

International collaboration is becoming more important for modern science. Among others, it is reflected in authorships of scholarly articles. We studied internationality of Current Science based on internationality of its authors. We analysed articles based on their authors, taking into account foreign authors, co-authorship between countries. We did it for various article types as well as all articles taken together, with the help of Web of Science data as well as data from the journal’s web page. Most articles (87%) were written by authors affiliated to Indian institutions. Citation analysis
of most highly-cited articles based on citation counts and co-authorship patterns showed that only one article from top five articles was internationally co-authored. Word cloud of Current Science titles shows that the journal is focused on India.

Purpose of the study: Previous research has overlooked the heterogeneity in older adults' personal conceptions of subjective well-being (SWB), by not taking into account intrado-main differences in the conceptions of SWB for different groups of older adults. The aim of this article is therefore to explore (a) older adults' own views on which aspects, categorized under domains, are important to their SWB and (b) which domains and aspects are important to older adults in different contexts and with different characteristics: to men and women, of different ages, and in different housing arrangements. Design and methods: Sixty-six older adults (aged 65 and older) participated in our study. We asked the participants to freely nominate aspects of SWB that are important to them, using participant-generated word clouds as our exploratory, qualitative data collection method. The data were analyzed using qualitative inductive content analysis. Results: We found 15 domains based on our participants' conceptions of SWB. The mul-tidimensional domains of social life, activities, health, and space and place were most important to our participants. The domains and aspects were defined and prioritized differently by different groups of participants. Implications: SWB should be studied as a multidimensional, individualized, and contextual-ized process to generate meaningful empirical information for researchers and policymakers.
