Bu araştırma, Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümü (BÖTE) öğrencilerinin bilgi okuryazarlığı özyeterlik algılarının cinsiyet, sınıf düzeyi, internet kullanma sıklıkları ve Web 2.0 teknolojileri kullanma sıklıkları açılarından incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu, 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Bilgisayar ve Öğretim Teknolojileri Eğitimi Bölümünde öğrenim gören basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 196 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılan ölçeğin birinci bölümünde üniversite öğrencilerinin kişisel bilgilerine ilişkin maddeler; ikinci bölümünde ise Web 2.0 teknolojileri kullanma durumlarına ilişkin maddeler yer almaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde ise Akkoyunlu ve Kurbanoğlu (2004) tarafından geliştirilen bilgi okuryazarlığı özyeterlik algı ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde, t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, BÖTE öğrencilerinin bilgi okuryazarlığı öz-yeterlik algılarının cinsiyete, sınıf düzeyine ve Web 2.0 teknolojilerinden Viki, Podcast ve Anlık Mesajlaşma Siteleri kullanma sıklıklarına göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca öğrencilerin bilgi okuryazarlığı özyeterlik algılarının yüksek olduğu sonucuna da ulaşılmıştır.

The main objective of this study was to compare pre-service English teachers’
self-efficacy beliefs with the instructors’ views of the teaching competence of
these pre-service teachers. Thirty-nine student teachers (13 males and 26 females)
and five female instructors participated in the study. For data collection, student
teacher and instructor versions of the same scale were used. The results of the
research indicated that the student teachers’ self-efficacy judgments were higher
than the instructors’ judgments for the student teachers’ teaching competence.
Interviews with the instructors indicated that enactive experiences and verbal
persuasion seem to be important factors which affect the personal efficacy beliefs
of the prospective teachers in the current study.
